The first chat in our Zoomin in Doolin series is with John & Helen Browne, a dynamic Doolin duo, who opened Doolin Cave in 2006. doolincave.ie/
The couple are both passionate about the history and heritage of Doolin, the Burren and the North Clare area, and it was a pleasure to hear their stories.

Greetings from England (yes I know, another bloody Brit blow-in) but it makes my Heart and Soul so full of happiness to hear and see you guys. Missing you all and hoping I will be in Doolin for my annual trip again in Sept when hopefully I can travel by then (God willing). Thinking of you all and the difficulties for all concerned on the West Coast - the B&B’s, tourist attractions, the pubs and of course those wonderful musicians at McGann’s and McDermott’s...fabulous sessions, craic and lifelong happy memories. Still at least I have their music to play for now, Blackie, Cyril, Geraldine and the rest of those “World Class” musicians that Clare seems to produce in abundance (but not a patch compared to seeing them live though eh?). So, why the “Flags of Dublin” as your music background with Tom Delaney on the Uilleann Pipes?...another blow-in. (The Four Winds I assume). Keep the videos coming guys they are brilliant (you are brilliant). God bless you all and kept you safe and well in Doolin.

Lovely to hear from you! It is great to know that our videos are enjoyed and bring a few smiles in these tough times :) With regards to the tune, well The Flags of Dublin, played by the excellent FourWinds www.fourwindsirishmusic.com/ is a great lively tune and in fairness, isn't half of Doolin made up of blowins, they help thin the blood lines ;)
