*Lockdown in Fanore

- In March of 2020, like much of the world, Ireland went into pandemic Lockdown. Some residents of Fanore, co. Clare ...a small rural community in the coastal west, organised this song project. It was a means to stay connected and creative during a very unusual time. We contributed our verses and voices using cell phones and internet although some situations allowed for safe practices and kitchen recording and outdoor meetings. Sure there are lots of local references, and maybe an unfamiliar phrase or two (a "shebeen" is a whispered place to find a drink) and now we are in Lockdown again, but look, what are you going to do.

The 2020 lockdown started our Fanore adventure-which continues to this day. We have wonderful memories of how Fanore embraced taking care of each other (to include these new blow- ins!), but kept music as a priority. ❤🎶

It will be about 2017 I spend some days in Fanore and The Burren. I loved it so much I knew I wanted to come back for a longer time. And now I have the time, but the lockdown stopped me from coming to Ireland. It was good to see the song anyway. Someday I will be back! Greetings from the Netherlands.
Good Evening, this Song/Video is so beautiful! My Wife and I hiked some Days on the Burrenway last Year and in the Pub in Fanore we didn`t just had one of the most beautiful Evenings we ever had. We also got in touch with this amazing Video. I´m working at an little Travel Video of our Ireland Trip in the Moment and it would be so great if I could just ad a cutout of your Video! So am I allowed to do so? The Video is just for us and our friends and maybe also for RUclips.
