I think MLD 's intention to use Korean in HORI7ON's debut song is to help the group break the Korean market. But if you listen to the entire album, it has English songs and Filipino songs too. So I guess there is something for everyone, which means they are eyeing for a wider market.

For me, i think it’s because they are a global grp so if they debut in korea they should have korean in their lyrics because their management said they are a merge of ppop and kpop so they have english korean and tagalog songs mix in their songs

As far as I know when DreamMaker started they say that the group (HORI7ON) will be a Global Group not KPop nor PPop maybe that's why they are adding Korean lyrics to the songs...maybe soon we'll gonna witness Tagalog, English and Korean mashed up in 1 song. Check their Ballad entitled Mama ❤ it.
