This is such an adorable messy bun though! I really wish my hair could hold like that, unfortunately I'm 5'7" and my hair goes down to my knees, so sadly I've never gotten a bun to stay but it's still an amazing video! 😄

@@fortheheckofit8956 Aww, thank you so much, that's so sweet of you to say! 😄 Sadly I've had a lot of health conditions in the past 2 years that has caused excessive hair loss so it's still long, but the amount of it is nearly nothing. It's crazy you sent this message recently, because I've been so stressed about it and thought yesterday that I should cut it or just shave my head because it just looks dumb now with as thin as it is, but it's also such a big part of me that I'm sad to do it. Oh my gosh, if that's you in your profile photo, you look so beautiful too! We have the same hair color! 😄 Sorry my message has turned out long 😅 But! If you want your hair long, eating one or two spoonfulls of peanut butter a day helps. It'll always be a very slow process and it normally takes about 3 months to see results from hair growth. But patience is a lot of it. Unless you're allergic or hate it, then sadly that's the only tip I know 😅

Oh! I just realized though that if your hair is so much thinner now you can definitely put it up in this messy bun and it wouldn't be so big.

Hi! This is a great tutorial but the part when you tuck in the rest of the hair into the ponytail it gets a bit confusing there. I think you should do a more detailed tutorial because I am getting really confused. Overall this is a very nice video!

I wear messy buns almost every day! I use one hair tie and two to three scrunches because my hair is soo long. I wash my hair first because I have really thick hair. And instead of flipping my head upside down to make the bun. And I wear head bands to hide my baby hairs instead of using Bobby pins. I love messy buns!😍

When you have EXTREMELY oily hair and dry shampoo doesn't work, so you have to wash it every night🙃
Don't wash your hair every day, it'll only make it worse! Just let your hair rest for a few days, yes it will get REALLY oily but after a while your hair gets used to it. Wash your hair about 3 times a week :)
If you want the oil production to slow down, you’ll have to stop washing it for at least two weeks. Basically, your hair is getting oily so quickly because you wash it every night. Therefore, your body over-produces oil to make up for the oil you’re washing off. If you stop washing it off, your body will stop over-producing it, and you should be able to wash it less often. I hope this made sense and helps!
I have a thin and very straight hair, so it works better with cleaned hair because the dirty of my hair, even if is just one day, keeps it more straight and oily and a little bit less oily using dry shampoo. So I tried to do this messy bun and it works!! (using bit more bobby pins)
