Brian it’s much easier to pull plane out of the box if you open both sides . The vacuum won’t hold it from sliding out. It will slide out like butter. Awesome looking bird. Might have to get me one some day. 😊.
Beautiful P-51 and amazing video as always! Sorta got my curiosity up keeping the screen outta camera view till you got the New Model popped up, "Think it's gonna be released" ...... Hummmmmmmm.... 🤫🧐🤔
Brian, first, let me say I find your help videos some of the best I've ever seen. You have a unique way of incorporating important additional information as part of your presentation. A good example is now you can slow down the Utube voice speed via the settings (I never knew that!). I am setting up my second Eflite airplane (I'm an old builder of RC models that at age 75 have decided to buy them assembled these days!) I've been following this P51 assembly and my question has to do with Thrust Reverse. Since I'm using an NX6 transmitter and only have Aux 2 reserved for AS3X/Safe I must move to an 8 channel transmitter to enable Thrust Reversing. Is that correct? Again, great video's which are greatly appreciated!
Glad I came across this channel I've never flown planes before only drones would this be easy for a beginner to start off with to learn how to fly? Cheers
You COULD, but it's not as easy as some other choices. This would make a better 3rd or 4th plane, in my experience, which was similar for me, but this has SAFE (Auto-Leveling) in addition to (AS3X) stabilization, so you'll have an easier time than I did when I first got my Blondie (3 liveries ago, and only had Stabilization at the time, no auto-leveling). That all being said, if you already fly drones, you'll have some of the "Basics" down...just you have to KEEP flying forward with a plane, which can be a HUGE change for drone pilots. This is kind of our copy and paste "beginner list", but might help you put your finger on your own pulse, and see where you land (yes, pun intended - lots of "Dad jokes" around here, please forgive me)... OR, you can just jump in with two feet, if budget, and skill won't be a huge issue for you... bprc.me/P51 - You want the 1.2m - NOT the 1.5m - the bigger is a LOT harder to fly, which is somewhat counter-intuitive in the fixed wing world... bprc.me/Tx - I suggest the NX10 for a semi-experienced flier who THINKS they will stick with it for a while...then you're not chasing good money after bad to buy the "entry level" stuff that you have to upgrade for your 3rd or 4th plane (this is super annoying, and expensive, of course). 2200 bit.ly/3aUgpo8 - you can use 3S or 4S, but if you're like me, you'll defer to the larger pack. you can also use a bigger capacity pack, if you wish, but these 2200mah 4s 30c packs will serve you well....but you might already have some from your drones, if you're dealing with 2200 or similar size packs. This Is my 1st BNF Model and watching you set this up seems like a lot of work for me being a noob. My Q: Are there profiles all ready set up I can use for this plane?
Question if you have time. I have a grass field only. Had issues getting this plane to take off. It kept dipping the nose into the ground as I tried to take off. I have many other planes (commander, ultimate 3d and a bunch of umx) that have no issues on this run way. Any suggestions on why the p-51 is so nose heavy to take off. I even moved the battery further back then it should be with no better results.
It is tricky. Try holding the tail, and pushing it a bit to help it get rolling, if you're okay with such a thing... the other option, that DOES work, is to bring a large bed sheet, or similar, and stretch it over a short section of the grass, and staple it down. This will give you a STARTING PAD. Might be enough help to fix your issue. You can also buy WEED BARRIER and just roll it out, then staple it down, same thing. The "real" fields use Geo textile fabric, if you're curious, but you may already be aware...it's real pricey!!!
@@BrianPhillipsRC Thank you Brian, I've Been know to hold a tail or two so with that experience we will see. I will keep you posted on my success. Grateful for the tips.
I have a question. What's the difference in binding with safe select enabled vs not enabled. Just asking because I see you binded it witout safe select but in the programing of the switch for as3x, off, safe it seems like safe select was working
I don't even know if you can do it that way anymore. GREAT QUESTION THOUGH! The manual seems to claim we can use bind plug to do the "OLD METHOD" but I just use FORWARD PROGRAMMING all the time now. I apologize for not knowing the answer to this, in whole, but I suggest you just bind it normal, then use FORWARD PROGRAMMING to turn on SAFE, if you wish to assign it to a switch.

Propeller Planes works good than EDF Planes Easy to take off and Easy to Land while edf planes mostly crash during landing because they have low thrust over slower speeds, Harder to Land . Power efficiency: Propeller Planes are more Power efficient than EDF burning less Battery per Flight Takeoff: Propeller planes are well suited for taking off from shorter runways. Flight speed: Propeller engines are well suited for lower flight speeds. ▪️In Propeller driven Aircraft both Propeller & Wings are helpful but in EDF Plane only wings are helpful so they need speed to balance in air so with higher speeds harder to land EDF Plane , People mostly crash them all fun turns into tears. ▪️They're also well suited for taking off from shorter runways. This is because thrust in these engines is created by torque rather than burning fuel. ▪️Their Front big fan- work like blades same as TurboFan in Airlines generate far more thrust from a standing start, enabling easy takeoff from much shorter runways than a EDF needs. ▪️Propeller Planes have Low operating costs. ▪️EDFs are slower immediate response than propeller planes they have immediate response when throttle is up, that is why they easily controlled, while EDF draw more power, respond is slower. EDFs burn through batteries like crazy, you should expect about half the flight time for an EDF to a comparable propeller setup Aircraft like Twin Otter , Turbo Timber Evolution , Timber X or Mustang P 51 are very popular & loving planes of Horizon Hobby.

what company do you work for to get free RC planes and stuff
The livery is an actual war plane his confirmed plane take downs on the side the white marks on the blue I think his name is also on the plane by the cockpit
But my P 51 was on the wall and it fell because the cord broke holding it in so I need a new one but it’s like 300 and I don’t have that money 😞
Oh look, another Mustang. Cool paint though.
Propeller Planes works good than EDF Planes
Easy to take off and Easy to Land while edf planes mostly crash during landing because they have low thrust over slower speeds, Harder to Land .
Power efficiency: Propeller Planes are more Power efficient than EDF burning less Battery per Flight
Takeoff: Propeller planes are well suited for taking off from shorter runways.
EDFs burn through batteries like crazy, you should expect about half the flight time for an EDF to a comparable propeller setup Aircraft like Twin Otter , Turbo Timber Evolution , Timber X or Mustang P 51 are very popular & loving planes of Horizon Hobby.
anyone else yell at on screen Brian to take the box off the stove? 👀
Nope lol that's where he puts it in EVERY unbox, build, radio setup video
@@deandagner I learned to filter it out long ago!
No...
Never paid any mind to it
Wrong!!! There's a big difference between the Dx8 and the Dx10 even with the $40 battery.
