The weapons changing their look when you equip an attachment is such nice touch. So simple yet so good.
That big red crystal in the ashlands area you were wondering about. if my memory serves, theres a timed bomb in the upper part of that area that you have to get down that ramp to throw it onto the crystal before it explodes. I think that might be your missing abyssyl armor piece.

If I remember correctly, the last abyssal armor piece is in Eden.
Darksiders is the love child of Legend of Zelda, Devil May Cry, and Castlevania. It's dark, and it's just so much fun to explore.
Absolutely love this series Myth, very excited for the next two games!
Underrated series of games... the Four are badass epitomised! Keep going, the ending of this game alone will make you want more!

Dude I'd like to thank you for reminding me I had this game, just finished it yesterday and i want to tell you that it is totally worthwhile trying to find the legendary attachments especially War's and Death's because one is letting you get more souls and the other is giving you your Choas form( that bug red demon looking mode) much quicker. And if you want get the abyssal armor it is stupid at the amount of damage reduction it gives(pro tip try and 'hunt' the armor after u get all the abilities).
You're gonna love death, he's very sweet contrary to what his name suggests, and very sarcastic, can't wait
No one pointing out how great a character Samael is? Guess I will. Great character and I love that he decides not to double cross War. I had been prepped to fight him since the beginning and while I was momentarily disappointed not to throw down with him, I think it makes far more sense for the story and the character for them to go their separate ways as amicably as is possible given who they are.
I love it when they make the mount an absolute tank. Bashing thru the obstacle rather an going around

Also that thing where the creature grabs you and you wake up in a nest and you have to mash buttons to escape a cocoon... it happens in Alien Isolation too. You're at the end of the game and right when you're about to put on the space suit to escape the space station, you notice xenomorph slobber dripping on the helmet that you're holding. I legit thought I had died seconds before finishing the game, because the scripted event uses the same kind of air vent that the xenomorph uses throughout the game to set traps all over the Sevastopol.
Right about now you can collect all artifacts, health, wrath, and abysal armor pieces. Get those of abysal armor pieces for a new sick look on War. Later on you will get to collect pieces for a new sword.

To be honest, I remember absolutely nothing about the first game, but I vividly remember every level of Darksiders 2. I honestly find it kinda funny.

I thought for a bit that the green skeleton warriors would summon bikes and ride around and hit you. I’ve been playing Skul ever since watching you play it and the Rider has been my favorite skull to use. Thanks for helping get me into the game and I love it so much!!!

Oh boy, the Black Throne. That area is confusing as shit, especially when trying to collect all chests.
Azrael and his smooth voice makes it worth it tho. I could listen to both him and War speak for hours lol
Hey Myth, don't forget that there's a 4th game in the series. Play Genesis too, it can be played as a multiplayer, so bring a friend if you can.
There you can play as War or Strife, and strife true form (Like War's Chaos Form) looks insane.
The tower is my least favorite area in the game, it just goes on for way to long in my opinion. Even when you know the solutions to all the puzzles it feels like an eternity to complete. It does have nice lore dumps thoughs and that i like.
Loving this playthrough and looking forward to the other games in the series.
Awesome content..I'm glad u got that Abyssal armor piece underneath Samael's prison cuz it's easily missable...hopefully u have 9 pieces cuz the 10th and final piece is coming up very soon and when u get it u won't be disappointed..at least I wasn't lol

There's gonna be a place you'll be taken to. Find the Abyssal piece before you finish that sequence, cuz you can't go back one you leave.
Heeeck YEAH man! You're close to the end of the game, the tower is the final dungeon area to explore. But there's still some hidden things in there, as well as a mechanic that warrants going back to explore the world for certain things... including a big raising door in a chronosphere tunnel.
But also things like using the Hookshot to use somewhere around the doorstep of Twilight Cathedral, or just plain looking around the route that you and Ulthane walked with all the ice blocks.
That being said, i'm happy that you are still interested enough in going back to earlier areas to find out what they will have to find for you! The Legendary Enhancements are pretty *schwoot* though the placement of some render them not that useful compared to earlier enhancements, thanks to them only being gettable near the end of the game...
And i'm still up for seeing how you would use the other Spells that Vulgrim sells you, like Stoneskin, Immolation, Poison Cloud and... i think that's all of them. And seeing you use the Scythe and Tremor Gauntlet a bit more in battles, though perhaps you already use those quite a bit but we simply don't get to see it.
But aside from that i also want to warn you: there's gonna be an upcoming area that looks quite yellow, which once finished cannot be gotten back to. So make sure you get all the chests and stuff from there.
Also fun fact: "Brood" is Dutch for "bread". Enjoy that knowledge :P

And the thing you thought was a Golem? You almost got close to their realm name, or at least the original enemy variant with flaming hands. They're called Gholens. This info doesn't do much but i hope you'll like it.
With all this being said, thank you again for all the videos thus far and keeping on making them. I really hope you will enjoy the rest of the game and the series at large, and make finished series of them all, but even more so that the series on its own will be something worth experiencing and remembering for you (in a positive way) and just be good memories for you all around.

Hey myth after this series I recommend a hack and slash called “Prototype” it’s really fun and has a interesting story it also has a sequel that is amazing.

About the red crystal in Ashlands - you need an item that you're gonna get later. Also, I'm pretty sure you have all the abyssal pieces that are available to you up to this point
The black throne has really good puzzles and it the part i enjoyed the most although the first time it was too confusing for me

Iirc there is also a little secret that you can access now that you have the grappling hook. Look for a place you can grapple to from the place infront of Tiamats castle.
The recurring boss fight there is quite Wicked. I hope Myth gets to it, i'm interested in his reaction.

@@AEviGun4484 there is no samael fight in darksiders 1. Even in Darksiders 2, he's just testing you. Maybe in Darksiders 5

@@AEviGun4484 Kinds of depends. There is Darksiders Genesis which is a diablo-esque spin-off featuring both War and Strife. But so far, we are yet to get an official Darksiders 4 with Strife in the lead.

I've been replaying this game since u started the series, i've got ahead of you already but i think i just missed a bunch of stuff lol, i don't have that many health points or fury points and i didn't find that red enhancement

kinda hate the tower cause it's annoying to get around. also, enhancements passive effect means even if not equipped it still activates. so wars glory always gives the chaos form and damage boosts without having it on... still should though... cause it's OP.... that chaos generation is stupid good.
