Beetlejuice just might be one of my favorite Lego minifigures of all time. Dimensions has brought us some great figures that will probably never be made again. RIP Dimensions....

I’ve been collecting the figures for a while now, always picked them up when they were on offer and really wanted those odd figures like Michael Knight, Beetlejuice, Sloth, Gremlins etc. For Christmas 2020 I picked up a used Dimensions starter pack for the PS4 for my son and I to play and I must say it’s a real hoot to play. The amount of stuff chucked in there for adults to connect to is incredible, pictures of Jack Nicholson’s character from the shining in the ghostbusters story level and Beetlejuices vocal interaction with Batman for example. Very impressed with it but there is a slight problem, the packs I didn’t pick up are gaining in value. Both Teen Titan pack will now set you back around £100, sonic goes for £40-£50.

I actually liked this game. Look at all the franchises that were made into LEGO that have never been made into LEGO before. We got Portal, Goonies, Beetlejuice, E.T., the Wizard of Oz, Doctor Who, Adventure Time, Mission Impossible, the A-Team, Gremlins, Teen Titans GO!, Knight Rider, the Powerpuff Girls, and SONIC THE FREAKING HEDGEHOG!!!! I loved it and the Kingdom Hearts feel to the story was great. I actually hope that we’ll get a sequel to this game that’ll bring not just more themes together like Star Wars, Marvel, Disney and TMNT, but hopefully we can also get some more beloved franchises made into LEGO for the first time like Willy Wonka, Star Trek, Men in Black, Mass Effect, Street Fighter, Final Fantasy, and I am on my knees for Kingdom Hearts to be made into LEGO. And maybe even some Super Mario minifigures too. So yeah I don’t know what people didn’t like about LEGO Dimensions because it is awesome.
It’s almost been 4 years since this video and there haven’t been any new sets 😔 If I had to make a year 3 I would include: Nexo knights Spider man Stranger things Jurassic park Transformers ( Sam as a level pack with the all spark and optimus prime as the vehicles ) Bumblebee (as in the film it could be a fun pack with hailee as the character and bumblebee as the vehicle) Halo Megaman Shrek Minecraft How to train your dragon (I would choose this for the story pack with hiccup as the character and toothless as the vehicle and the portal design could be what looks like the entrance to a house on berk or something) Year 1s base colours were blue year 2s were orange I think year 3s should be green I think it would be really cool to see them suddenly make a year 3 I think it would surprise all of us in a good way especially because there are new popular things like stranger things they could profit a lot from it Let me know if u have any other ideas

I would have wanted bionicle in lego dimensions with the toa mata, takua riding pewku, the toa mahri. With transparent minifig heads with the bike helmet over it and the masks as custom molds as attachments to the helmet.

I love Lego Dimensions so much! I even have the complete collection of the game stuff. I wonder if there will be a Lego Dimensions 2. A few weeks ago, I emailed Lego about there being a Lego Dimensions 2 game. They seemed to think it would be a great idea if they made a Lego Dimensions 2, and they even passed my message to the Lego video game design team. Of course, they don't know if there will be a sequel to the first game, but they did say that anything is possible if the demand for it is there. I hope that Godzilla (2014/2019/2021), King Kong (2017/2021) and Mechagodzilla (2021) will be some of the new playable characters in the game, and I even hope that the 75 playable characters from the first game will be playable in the second game too. I wonder if Lego Dimensions 2 will be a toys-to-life game just like the first Lego Dimensions game.
