Bishop Altamira was ordained by Bishop Fellay of the SSPX in 2000 and Consecrated by Bishop Da Silva in January 7, 2024. He was Prior of the SSPX in Colombia and later left the SSPX for the Resistance. He now operates out of Colombia 🇨🇴 as a Sedevacantist Bishop.

I went to the Sedevacantist Church a few times (not that close by) and it very clearly came to my thoughts, that these people are not in schism when they are so fervently keeping the Tradition and Sacredness of the Holy Mass and Scriptures. This could only come from Jesus and the Apostles. Im not an expert by any stretch, but I see them as Christ's humble Church. Interesting life story! God bless and Pax Christi!

@@joematties7557 see there's the problem. You guys conflate terms and redefine their meanings. Tradition, traditionalism, and SACRED Tradition are all different things. As traditionalists, you guys want to convert any tradition into sacred tradition, and when the Church says that's not proper or permitted, you rebel.

@EdwardBray-i1w I'm not sedevecantis, so I haven't rebelled against anyone. I'm not a fan of the "resistance or sedes" but I do stick to the traditions of the church that got all the other saint to heaven.

I prefer to attend Sedevacantist Mass than SSPX Mass. Because Sedevacantist Mass is Pre-55 Tridentine Mass and Original Roman Catholic Mass without Annibale Bugnini's Intervene.

My only choice for mass is an SSPX chapel. I let my sedevacantist stance known to all. There are many sedevacantist in the sspx

Many of us just don't speak of it because our Society priests are so hostile to the possibility. I would probably be asked to leave if they knew my sympathies to sedevacantism.

@marie, I am sure there are some SSPX priest they may not be so hostile. I am sure as long as you don’t make too much a fuss, they won’t bother. At the CMRI, they don’t require you to hold their position to attend.
