In 3rd grade my class read Winn-Dixie, and it’s about a girl who’s at Winn-Dixie and she finds a dog running around the store and the dog is gonna go to a whatever it’s called animal shelter or sm if no one claims the dog, and she claims the dog and she takes it home with her and she names the dog after a grocery store in Florida. 💀

MINI STORY!
The book because of winn-dixie! My 3rd grade teacher read it to my class for our "read aloud book" at snack time. Towards the end of the book when the dog got lost I started to CRY after the teacher finished the chapter we were reading. Honestly looking back on that moment it must have been embarrassing for me. But my teacher gave me a spoiler for the end of the book so I was happy. Honestly no book has EVERRRRR made me cry! So I definitely recommend it! Such a great book!
