It's not even close. This is the best cigar channel, ever. I wish I could smoke one of those and sit around and listen to you all tell stories. I'm in America, so we're not able to get these like you do. We can, it just costs an arm and a leg, plus there's the customs enforcement. Still though, I get some on occasions. Cheers, from Memphis. 🇺🇸
Thanks so much for the kind words! We’d love to have you join us for a smoke and some good conversation. It’s a shame about the restrictions, but it’s great to hear you’re still able to enjoy a fine cigar every now and then. Sending cheers right back to you from across the pond! Hopefully, we can share a smoke together someday.
The US is on the cheaper side of things when it comes to Cubans...Maybe a bit more tedious but If you order on FOH or something similar, it's cheaper than in Canada, UK, Asia etc.
@@DESCENDINGDRMaybe it's been a while since I've done it. Not long ago I went to a few different sellers that ship here and the selection wasn't great, and the prices were nuts. Before covid crackdowns I was ordering all the time. I know I can get them. I guess I'm just whining. Ha! I go to my local shop all the time. They have a large selection. Actually, today is my birthday. I might just head that way now.
This might be the best episode yet! Certainly among the most entertaining and what a cigar!! I'll forever picture El Jefe in a Corniche Convertible from now on ... Rollers and Jags looked properly villainous in those days. Plenty of ashtrays, too!! Thanks so much for sharing such excellent content! Cheers from Wine Country, California!!
Ah, the Corniche Convertible! Perfect for plotting world domination while enjoying a fine cigar and an even finer vintage. Just be careful not to spill your wine in the ashtray-it’s a classy villain move, but it can be quite the mess!
Ah, my dear fellow, your choice of a R&J Linea de Oro Dianas alongside a Dalmore 15 is most commendable. Such fine selections elevate our spirits and remind us that in the face of adversity, we must savor the small pleasures of life. Here’s to good company and the finer things! Cheers!
Looks like a beautiful cigar to enjoy. Wrapper looks perfect. I am currently I Doha and I just visited the humidors in the airport here. Waiting to get back home to Australia to enjoy my long awaited next cigar. I will save this video to smoke along and listen to you guys discuss it❤
@@Lee-wg4lz Yeah they have some now. Cohiba Siglo 1’s and 2’s. They also had another Cuban that I had a look at that was a regional release for Qatar. I can’t recall the brand or whether I’d encountered it before but he assured me it was rolled in Cuba. Something like Jose L Piedra.
My dear viewer, I am delighted to know that you found the episode enjoyable and that Laurence's wit and storytelling brought you such pleasure. It is our aim to bring a touch of light and levity to these times, and your kind words are a testament to that success. Thank you for your gracious support.
@@sauttercigars I could taste the cottage pie and chianti as he spoke about it ! This evening I will raise a glass and enjoy a delicious Montrcristo open eagle for sautter! Look forward to more videos from Laurence 👍
This was a great episode! I feel like you need to know about the Anton Berg plum+marzipan+madeira+chocolate treat. They are perfect with cigars and with the slight boozy taste they can stand alone if you have a moment to smoke but not drink anything strong.
My dear viewer, I appreciate your discerning taste and the splendid recommendation of the Anton Berg treat. Indeed, such a delightful confection, imbued with the subtlety of fine marzipan, the richness of Madeira, and the decadence of chocolate, is a companion most worthy of a moment’s reflection, whether accompanied by a cigar or enjoyed on its own. Your suggestion has not only intrigued my palate but also stirred my sense of culinary adventure. It is in such moments of quiet indulgence that we find a small but significant respite, and for that, I thank you. Cheers!
Ah, my dear friend, your laughter is a testament to the spirit of resilience that binds us all. In times of trial, let us embrace humor as a weapon against despair. Together, we shall find joy amidst the chaos, and emerge stronger on the other side!
I like these videos, both Laurence and Nick are good value, without being rude I can't tell whether Laurence's recallections are true or colourful B.S,if it is the later it good , entertaining B.S 👍
LD talks about the environment for eating , drinking. And smoking like a romance novel the ladies would read. Classy and trashy all in one read. He defines smoking as the last true art form. God bless the world’s greatest cigar lover .
Ah, my dear Rob, your words ring with a certain poetic charm that would warm the very heart of any cigar aficionado. Indeed, life’s simple pleasures-eating, drinking, and smoking-are not merely habits, but a delicate art, refined over the ages. Like a well-crafted novel, they weave together the elegance of tradition with the daring spirit of indulgence. To elevate the act of smoking to an art form, as you so astutely observe, is to recognize its place in the grand tapestry of life, where every puff is a brushstroke on the canvas of existence. God bless, indeed, the world's greatest cigar lovers, for they are the custodians of this most noble of pastimes. Carry on, my friend, with the same zest and appreciation for the finer things, for in them lies the true romance of life.
Ah, the background music police have caught up with us! Rest assured, we shall take it down and let the good content march on undisturbed. Let us focus on the finer things, and be happy that, at the very least, it wasn't the bagpipes! Cheers to a noise-free future!
When Laurence gets on a roll like this it’s just such a treat. Thanks as always
Our pleasure!

You can get as many Cuban cigars as you like. All online sellers will ship to Memphis... Some are expensive but some legit sellers are fairly priced.

Great video , I’m a coach builder at Morgan cars ! Nice to hear you used to have one !
That Cigar Sir is a real treat. Hope you fellas enjoyed every puff.
Thank you! It definitely was a treat. Cheers to enjoying the finer things in life!
Lawrence talking about food is actually special, goes into such detail hahaha
"They said it’s like ham and eggs.
In ham and eggs the chicken is involved, but the pig is committed"

Nothing like a bit of duty-free temptation!

Great chat chaps - you had me at jam roly-poly and custard. I don’t have a dog, but I do have a cat that growls 😺
Glad you enjoyed it

Genuine question. Do you ever worry about the health risks?
Metric system must be adopted in UK !
7/5’8 what ?
What's with the background noise? At least it's not too loud, artificial music if you want to call it that.
