The 3rd movement of this piece is one of the greatest pieces of music ever written. The whole piece, in general, is just hauntingly beautiful.
No tiene madre el 3er movimiento❤
Is that a clarinet or a cello?
Kachaturian: "Yes."
There is an alternative version where the clarinet part is taken by a *viola*
0:06 - I. Andante con dolore, con molto espressione
4:48 - II. Allegro
8:58 - III. Moderato
Thank you
You're welcome. Always glad to help.
Thank you! Do you know who are the performers?
Thank you for that.
Really grate music and performance.
Esta composición me parece algo de lo más interesante y novedoso que he escuchado !
Πανέμορφο έργο! Ειδικά η δεύτερη κίνηση είναι φοβερή!
Thank you so much for uploading this again... one of my favourite recordings of this piece!
Glad to be back, but missing the subscribers I had before! Please share the channel on your social media here: ruclips.net/user/gngianopoulos

Magníficos intérpretes. Vergonzoso que no figuren sus nombres.
Que bella música.
Para mí suena mucho a música Árabe.
Deve tener temas armenios, que son orientales.
my best friend played the second and third movements of this piece
From 12:32 to 13:03 the score is cut off from the video. Is it because part of the score isn't available?
Page turner screwed up.
@@wllm4785 😂
13:00 thank you
11:14 That literally sounds like a pop song intro!
Also....love the chord at 4:57. What would u name it????
Who's performance is this?
Ensemble Walter Boykens
Where can I find this score???
the third movement really sounds like video game music
Who are the performers?
Ensemble Walter Boykens
Hi George, May I know where you bought the score from? I am really interested in playing this piece with my ensemble and I was looking for the score online, but couldn't find any reliable sources. I'm from Singapore by the way. Great upload, fantastic quality. If, by any chance, you wouldn't mind emailing the score to me, do let me know as well. Thanks!

@@GNGianopoulos thank you!
Interesting tempo marking in the score (and the only one I've seen). Quarter = 104. I always hear it played about 60. Perhaps it was a misprint and should have been an eighth = 104?
Yes - in the Sikorski edition it's 66, which makes much more sense.
I am asking for the names of the performers. It's not probably Ensemble Walter Boykens...
I'm not sure, otherwise they'd be listed here.
The clarinetist could be Alexander Fiterstein.

あー良い曲だ!(≧▽≦)
This trio is a fine one, but the repertoire for clarinet, violin, piano now seems over extensive, mainly due to the likes of the Verdehr Trio. When Milhaud, Bartok, Khachaturian and Krenek wrote their trios there were few to go around. Now there are literally hundreds.
As if there could be too much good music. What is your point, exactly?
