Friends, an exciting journey through beautiful wine-producing Italy awaits us. This video turned out to be a real "road movie", a road movie. And my friend Luca Barghesi will help us see and try everything.
We begin our acquaintance with gastronomic Italy from the town of Alba - the birthplace of white truffles. From there we will move to Barbaresco and look at the local vineyards. Family viticulture and winemaking flourish here. Here they create a well-known and very valuable wine all over the world - Barbaresco.
And then we will go to Barolo, this is a town where they make another famous wine, which is called, accordingly, Barolo. The colorful Italian commune we will visit impresses with images of real Italy.
Along small streets we will reach the medieval castle of the Marquises of Faletti. We will feel transported back through the centuries and feel the spirit of Piedmont.
And of course, we will look for an opportunity to try the legendary local wine. We found the Barolo Canubi winery, which is a wine shop, a cafe, a museum, and an exhibition hall. We managed to get into the cellar for you, into the very heart of the winery.
The lovely Paola will tell us a little about the winery itself.
We will continue in the town of Cenque Terre. Translated from Italian it means “five lands”. Five small settlements are part of this territory.
We will stop in one of the settlements called Vernazza. This is a place that is included in the TOP 50 places on the planet that every traveler should visit.
The first thing we should do on the road is refresh ourselves. Of course we will eat traditional Italian pasta. And record it with wonderful Italian wine. Octopus salad, seafood pasta, pesto pasta, gnocchi - all these are masterpieces of Mediterranean cuisine.
Now you can take a walk along the narrow ancient streets of Vernazza. You can only go for a walk there on foot. During the walk I will tell you more about the Cinque Terre. And of course, we will go out to the sea and admire it.
We move on, through the pass to Parma. Let's see what they sell travelers at the gas station. And we'll have dinner at Trattoria da Berta. Once again the restaurant looks like a museum.
We will try local cuisine, based on Parmesan. And this is a receptor rupture. We will also try a very specific homemade sausage with Kotekino sauce. As expected, we will write it in red wine. At the end of the dinner there will also be a local drink, “grappa”, this is something similar to our chacha.
