Sooooo I'm 32. I was born in '91. All my life Knight Rider has been this nebulous pop culture touchstone that I knew about but never really experienced. I was recently reading the "He who fights with monsters" book series in which the main character has a bit of an obsession with Knight Rider. He mentions it enough that I finally decided to give it a try a few months ago and I LOVE THIS SHOW!

Hi, also 32 here! (Born late '90) I remember my parents telling me about Knight Rider in the 90's with "KITT the talking car". At the time, despite my love of classic and sports/muscle cars, the concept of a talking car to me as a child sounded ridiculous and dumb.
Come 2007, and I find the DVD's at my local library, so I thought 'why not check it out and see what it's like '. I've been obsessed with the show ever since, and it's my dream to own an '82 Pontiac Trans Am!!! 🖤❤
Also, now I wanna check out that book series you mentioned, lol! 😅

A better time with great character actors in just about every show.

Was lucky enough to see Knight Rider and Duke's of Hazzard when they first came out. I was 6 when knight Rider came out.
i dont remember my but i def love knight rider as a kid until 1985 came and thundercats took my life. goodby KR. for me being a kid in the 80s when somthing new comes along i lose interest in the old. but now as a man. i love everything i grew up with. lol

My 14 year old Daughter is and she is loving it!
First time I saw knight rider was on my mom's black and white tv. Oh man when I saw it in color I flipped. I was the only kid in my neighborhood who even watched it. Most kids were more into horror films, a team, and airwolf. I thought all of it was great.

2:42 - one of those rare moments when science in Knight Rider actually made sense. When a human loses memory, it's either memory of who he is and the people he knows but he remembers definitions. If he doesn't remember the words, he still remembers definitions, only doesn't remember the word, but will recall it once mentioned. In a computer on the other hand, let's say chatbot, if you wipe out words or definitions, the access to definitions is lost.
If I saw knight rider for the first time now I would be asking why is he shouting at the car when hes inside the car

i use to love knight rider as a kid and i still do now. but as a kid im one of those that use to not stay and keep franchise long when somthing new comes along. at one im in the knight rider kick until 1985 when thundercats hit. hello TC and goodby KR

How do you get or buy all the episodes?
I hated the episodes that had stupid kids in them, even when I watched them for the first time as a kid. I always thought that the kid in the episode was annoying and was hoping for then to get run over.

I am born in 79 i remember i was epileptic and 5 years old and Knight rider was my best series together with angel and beauty and the beast ❤️ 💖 💗 💙 miss those times wonder how many of the young ones like Knight

A lot of this would seem odd, to a younger person who never watched the show, and with clips taken out of context. There were odd moments and episodes overall, for sure.

I was able to experience knight rider 2008 for the first time ever. Felt strange knowing Wednesday night, there would be a new episode airing of a TV series you loved as a kid and it's NEW. Must have been like what it felt in the 80's, not knowing we should have appreciated what we had only after it's taken away.
