A chase between a prison bus and a Dodge Tradesman from the 1991 film PAYBACK, starring Corey Eubanks. Eubanks is chased by a guard before both enter the vehicles. A couple a' nice stunts in this, including the Tradesman rolling over spectacularly, and the bus crashing into a police car and tumbling down a cliff. Eubanks, having survived the crash, fights the cop before taking his gun and running away.

Here in Russia, when prisoners work, they are guarded with dogs. In addition, everyone prone to escape works only in leg shackles. Escape is basically impossible.

A movie written by a stuntman, Corey Eubanks (Dukes of Hazzard) and directed by a stuntman, Russell Solberg (Hunter) is gonna have some good stunts :) Stunt coordinator is the late great Allan Wyatt Jr. who was the principal driver of the General Lee on the Dukes of Hazzard television show.

The officer in the white van was pretty dumb to try and do a pit maneuver on a bus. If you wanna stop a big vehicle, the spike strip is the best bet.
Hellfire missile does a good job, too.
3:40 that Dodge van got caught on the bus was so cool, I love how they pulled that off and the bus crashing down the hill was awesome!

I'm looking for a film titled Camp # 4, is it helpful? A man jails instead of his manager who ran over someone, and tries to escape by taming prison guard dogs to get to the escape train, but the dog he loves is preventing him from doing so. Then he returns and finds that he has been released.

1:35 That's a BUMPY ride. Them older buses' shocks are very soft. I know from experience when I was in elementary school, when we go into bumps and students would literally bounce around, especially at the back. Good thing school buses these days are not so rocky.

During the chase the van runs into the left fender of the bus. Nothing happens, but in the long shot, the fender is dented.

Tremendous carelessness of that guard looks the other way and it takes time to realize also leaves only the other prisoners
why do tv shows always have the ram it off the road scene. its a 6 ton bus and 2 ton van it will bounce off like its a paper weight. also why tbone the car you could just knock it out of the way with ease.
That cop firing at the escapee went on to become a Star Wars Storm Trooper, due to his accuracy, or lack of.

When that van crashed it reminded me of a crash I was in back in 88. I was driving a work van and I was going home from work . I had gone over to a friends house to tend to thier pets while they were on vacation. I saw a beer in their fridge and popped the top
and downed it. I headed back to my place trying to go the back roads by the airport . It was a two lane with a big curve . I looked out way ahead of the airport road and saw a guy driving a muscle car passing everyone . When he got closer I could tell he was most likely not going to make the curve and be in my lane. So in my mind I was thinking of what I was going to do. There was a deep ravine toward the airport to my right with a telephone pole also to my right. But I didn't want to go left around the curve and meet him especially in a van, where there is not much of a front end and have a head on collision.
So I cranked the wheel right , and scraped the pole and his car sheared into the left side of the van in the rear wheel. His car ends up lifting my van end over end over the ravine. The van was upside down and for a few seconds I couldn't see anything because dust was going into the ductwork of the ac unit and I realized I was upside down in the van. I turned the engine off.
I was trapped in my seatbelt and the pressure of being upside down on the belt almost wouldn't give way. Some how I pushed the button on the seatbelt closure and dropped to the headrest of the van. I climbed out went back up the ravine and I saw his car with him still in it. He was ok. The ambulance showed up and the paramedics asked where was the person in the van . I said it was me.
He said he never saw anyone come out of an overturned vehicle like I did. With no seatbelt there's no way I could have made it that day..
DAMN! Hell of a story! Amazing you made it out of something like that. Thanks for dropping by and taking the time to share this.

@@LITTLE1994 Well the bus would seem to be a 1966 International, so the bus presumably being made of steel, your guess is as good as mine regarding weight. What I would like to point out is that Eubanks had a battering ram with an engine, yet he wasted it just to smash the police car and send it off the road, had he just rammed the rear of the car the bus would’ve made it.

Oh my God, thank you for posting this! I was in this movie when it was filmed in the early 90s. I played a prisoner and you could see me ducking my head down when the prison guard shoots at the prisoner/escapee when he’s about to drive off in the bus.
