Not sure if that’s the reason, however our “county” fire dept is run by our county’s sheriffs office and they have a contract with certain cities and unincorporated areas in the county to provide fire and ems services

So in this particular case, this response is the standard response assignment for a request of a technical rescue team here in Broward County
