I'm stunned, don't know what I expected but this city is just wonderfull . The archtechture, open spaces , roadways and shopping areas are marvellous. Did not expect this so soon from a former East German city I doubt very much any of it is down to its former occupiers.

Daniel, I finally splurged on iMac 27" Computer to view your videos at 4K. Not only is the video better so is the audio! Like at 1:40 wished you stayed there longer. They sound wonderful! Awe, you came back to them at 13:56 I love it!!!
Thank you! I will see to stay a bit longer with music though I also like that bands provide some background music this way. It's a bit tricky with performances in general...I prefer to limit them as music on RUclips in general is tricky with copyrights etc.. and it's their performance where they should profit from it with their own video etc..

Sehr schön, da hast du dir wieder eine Menge Arbeit gemacht. Mit einigen Hinweisen, macht aber viel Arbeit, sind deine Rundgänge noch informativer. Hab mir mit der zweisprachigkeit sehr viel Mühe gemacht! Wenn Du magst schau mal auf meine Stadtrundfahrten. Etliche Straßen und Plätze sind auch bei mir dabei! Gerade bei der blauen Stunde, die Tagestouren folgen noch. Von der Winterserie habe ich gerade die große Rundfahrt in Arbeit. Hast du noch nie Ärger bekommen, weil du nichts verpixelst. Bei den Fahrten mit der Dashcam muss ich da schon mehr darauf achten. Hast bestimmt nicht umsonst die Staaten als Land angegeben!? Hab dir mal drei Himmelsdaumen gegeben!

Verboten sind Videos in einer "privaten oder kompromittierenden Situation" - die man auf Wunsch dann verpixeln muss - am besten vor dem Hochladen unscharf machen (wie im Berlin Video um Minute 58 ruclips.net/video/6tI6KRaaCto/видео.html etc.). Meine email ist hinterlegt aber wurde bisher noch nicht direkt zur Beschwerde für einen Verpixelungswunsch genutzt. Viele Zuschauer freuen sich, dass sie andere Städte in diesen Zeit in Echtzeit sehen können. Auf Kritik reagiere ich natürlich. So versuche ich, alle Orte und Leute respektvoll zu behandeln. Lübeck, Kiel, Bremerhaven und Cuxhaven sind alle auf dem Kanal - Flensburg passt eventuell noch dieses Jahr aber ich wollte das nächste Mal im Norden eher Schwerin - Wismar - Rostock Richtung polnische Ostsee probieren. By then I finished my trip so this year looks a bit different. The US made a lot of vaccination progress. The EU is now catching up for the next couple of months I guess

There is the § 23 KunstUrhG in Germany. This law allows public picture taking as long as the people are "accessory" to a scene. One condition is that people should not be the main subject of the image - as if they could be replaced by other people / bystanders without changing the picture's message. These walking videos seem OK under these terms. There are other restrictions as one cannot "exploit" situations nor privacy in general which the channel follows. There are many of such walking channels (ProWalk Tours, Watched Walker, Rambalac, Virtual Japan etc.) which also follow the rules and show cities in an unedited way. In any case my email is available on the channel for contact when someone wants his face to be blurred at a certain timecode

FYI, the Völkerschlachtdenkmal is around 4.5km south-east from the city center. I'd take the S-Bahn instead of walking as it would take nearly an hour to get there. During summer some less touristy cities are a bit empty as people go on vacations and students may go home during university break
Lisbon is much bigger, has a sizable Brazilian community whereas Leipzig is a modern city for East Germany thanks to car/logistics and some software industry. Dresden is also livable and nearby. End of 2019 was my last visit to Lisbon. I heard that due to a big influx of remote workers since 2020 it isn't the same - became also rather expensive probably. Walks around Lisbon are on the channel: ruclips.net/user/results?search_query=poptravel+lisbon I love Portugal yet you also must somehow fit into the student culture so I'd suggest maybe everybody West of Germany would prefer Lisbon and students from Eastern Europe would be better off with Leipzig. Leipzig is OK and booming but in the end much smaller and different from Lisbon

In my point of view, the lifestyle, liveliness and cultures of the city of Lisbon and its people feel warmer to me and make me feel good, but in general, the minimum salary in Portugal makes me think. I don't know if I can survive there. I see Germany as superior only in terms of salary, but Portugal attracts me more in all other features.
I'm using a DJI Osmo Pocket and a Zoom H1 microphone for the audio. The audio is optimized and synced before upload with the video. Both devices are connected to a power bank for longer filming. When travel is possible again I will see to try out a Z-Axis stabilization for smoother movement

There is the § 23 KunstUrhG in Germany. This law allows public picture taking as long as the people are "accessory" to a scene. One condition is that people should not be the main subject of the image - as if they could be replaced by other people / bystanders without changing the picture's message. These walking videos seem OK under these terms. There are other restrictions as one cannot "exploit" situations nor privacy in general which the channel follows. There are many of such walking channels (ProWalk Tours, Watched Walker, Rambalac, Virtual Japan etc.) which also follow the rules and show cities in an unedited way. In any case my email is available on the channel for contact when someone wants his face to be blurred at a certain timecode

FYI, the Völkerschlachtdenkmal is around 4.5km south-east from the city center. I'd take the S-Bahn instead of walking as it would take nearly an hour to get there. Lisbon is much bigger, has a sizable Brazilian community whereas Leipzig is a modern city for East Germany thanks to car/logistics and some software industry. Dresden is also livable and nearby. End of 2019 was my last visit to Lisbon. I heard that due to a big influx of remote workers since 2020 it isn't the same - became also rather expensive probably. I love Portugal yet you also must somehow fit into the student culture so I'd suggest maybe everybody West of Germany would prefer Lisbon and students from Eastern Europe would be better off with Leipzig. Leipzig is OK and booming but in the end much smaller and different from Lisbon

In my point of view, the lifestyle, liveliness and cultures of the city of Lisbon and its people feel warmer to me and make me feel good, but in general, the minimum salary in Portugal makes me think. I don't know if I can survive there. I see Germany as superior only in terms of salary, but Portugal attracts me more in all other features.

How do you make this videos????
I'm using a DJI Osmo Pocket and a Zoom H1 microphone for the audio. The audio is optimized and synced before upload with the video. Both devices are connected to a power bank for longer filming. When travel is possible again I will see to try out a Z-Axis stabilization for smoother movement

Cottbus ist auf der Liste. 😎 Da war ich noch nie. Zuerst kommt aber wohl eher der Norden dran - von Schwerin, Wismar über Rostock usw. nach Polen... Vorher kommen aber noch ca 40 Videos aus anderen Teilen Deutschlands dieses Jahr. Mal sehen, wann es mit Cottbus klappt.
