Your video footage is moving too fast and feels shaky, resulting in a poor viewing experience. You can refer to other youtuber' videos or buy a gimbal to solve this problem and attract more viewers.

Thanks! For showing the real China. Here in America, our perception of China is a backward authoritarian country where everyone dressed in black, ride bicycles, skinny with the same 2 hairstyles. Didn't know China is 10X more modern than Southern California, cleaner, safer & more organized... Looking forward to visiting China for a month or more... Hope you go to India after China & compare the 2 countries with similar population. I've been to India btw... Good Luck dealing with the contrast...

The best way to understand the scale of Shanghai is to take Metro line 3 from start to finish. It's elevated above ground, and you'll see literally 40kms of downtown.

You are right, ShangHai is the entry city for western foreigners. It used to be called Paris in the far east. I'm surprised to see it is the first time for you two to visit Shanghai and you have not been to BeiJing yet.
YuYuan is definitely not the most crowded time, it was completely stuck during golden week.
Price in ShangHai is pretty western too.

It's not only Ming vs. Song Dynasty for example but architecture styles change as you move from north to south. In general it's south = more ornate, north = more austere. South = merchants/scholars, north = government/military. That's obviously a generalization. I wonder if you two will be leaving China after this. It has been a wonderful journey so far.

Many people are disgusted by places like Shanghai, which are full of concrete and people, and those high-rise buildings are all financial, not industrial. When I was in Shenzhen and Shanghai, I just wanted to find a quiet park to watch fish and birds, without hearing noisy voices or traffic. No matter how developed Shanghai and Shenzhen are, they are not as refreshing as the beauty of nature.
