Thanks. Was able to replace the pump on my AEG washer drier with the part purchased from your eBay shop. Video was clear and gave me the confidence to fix it myself.

Thank you for this incredibly clear instructional video. Definitely up with the best I've seen. I now have a working AEG L86810 thanks largely in part to your help. I confess I didn't purchase the part from you but you will be top of my list for the future to keep my aging (15 years now) fleet of AEG appliances working. Thanks, Jon
problem solved thanks to your video. thanks a million! thought i wouldnt be able to reassemble the thing once i'd opened it up and all the dirt came gushing out, but thanks to you i was able to piece it back together again and now have a functional washing machine again. you saved us 200 euros, thanks!
Thanks to this video, I manage to repair my AEG washing machine, the filter system was blocked by a lot of calc, and we were not able to remove the filter. I remove the complete (filter & punp) system, clean the filter with acid!, and put back again.
Hey Bendt , i'm wondering if i may have the same problem. did your pump make a funny noise when it was trying to drain after spinning? also, what acid did you use?
Perfect reference, solved the problem in 2 hours. Found a 3mm drill, two pound coins, a chocolate bar wrappper, three bits of sea glass and lofts of fluff?

Hi, I am looking to replace the pump to an AEG machine and same as in this video , the power cables are both red, does it matter which cable goes to? Thanks
I wish the people here would come & fit mine. I took the top off & then spent 2hrs trying to remove the facial. It's attached by almost impossible-to-get-at screws on the INSIDE ! Would have been a task trying to get them back afterwards. As it happens, I couldn't proceed any further. . . . There aren't screws at the front bottom securing the front panel. Mine has a complete panel that runs underneath. I would have to either jack the whole machine up & get underneath (that's not happening) or tip the machine on over onto its back & get the bolts on the bottom that way -- having removed the feet & brackets also. . . I'm giving up. I didn't want to fork out for a new machine - this one was only 7yrs old -- but it's too difficult for me to do & I can't find ANYONE who will come & do it. Well done Electrolux on a bad design.

This is OK... but I merely cannot remove top cover of my 9000 series AEG, despite all the possible top cover surrounding bolts unscrewed, and enormous force amount applied in hope to slide it off/up/side :) It looks like some rust or whatever might have "welded" the parts that should be disconnected. Basically all the main stoppers with big appliances fixing is how to open external covers without bending/scratching/breaking to get inside... all the rest inside is more or less intuitive...

So... The wires are the same colour, does it not matter which way around they are plugged back in?
Thanks, Impeller stuck. Fixed :)
