I was at a pub in London when, as I was buying another round, an elderly woman was begging the patrons for their change for disabled veterans. She got pence. I approached her and handed her all of the cash in my wallet, bills. She was shocked, "Aren't you American? Why?"
"I am actually Irish American, my mother was born in Claire but, I am USAF and I believe that we need to support our veterans, no matter what nation. If we do not, we will have no one willing to defend our or your nation."
After 28 years, 3 wars and a dozen countries serving my country, leaking blood in countries most American cannot find on a map and being spat upon by civilians after Vietnam, I still believe that.

@@corinnepmorrison1854 Im so sorry for your terrible loss, clearly you still miss him a lot after all these years. That's both powerful and heartbreaking. But I understand how we can never get over the loss of someone we love so much. I will keep you, your brother and the other men you honored by saying their names. When we say their names, we keep them alive not just in our own memories, but through others. I cannot thank them personally but I can show them the honor they deserve by also saying their names aloud and in my prayers for their eternal peace and rest. Thank you for sharing them today, you are a good brother. Sending you big heart hugs for those broken pieces we hold together with the scars of loss. Your brother would be so proud Corinne.

This video was absolutely incredible! It’s heartbreaking to see anyone disrespect a 91-year-old veteran, but the way the Royal Guard stepped in to handle the situation was so powerful and inspiring. It’s a beautiful reminder of the importance of honoring those who’ve served and standing up against injustice. If only one of the RSL Clubs (a Veteran's club) in Australia had the same respect for veterans. My father, a British veteran who fought with Australian soldiers was dying of cancer. He too, was bent over with a cane. He entered the RSL but was told he had to leave. My father said that he just wanted one glass of beer. They didn't care. He didn't look the part of what they considered a veteran should look. Being unwanted by a fellow veteran broke his heart. The veteran that pretty much threw him out might have been the one whose life he had saved. Veterans in those clubs gratefully accept donations from the public, but I will never forget how he was treated + I will never donate anything to them. I think that particular club should be shamed to the public + shut down. I wanted to
report them to the media, but my father told me to leave them alone.
Even in his horrendous, heartbreaking treatment he honoured them as veterans, an honour I they did not deserve. Both they + my father fought for freedom, but only one showed the honour + respect veterans deserve. I still hold respect for most veterans from all western countries, but for that one that pretty much threw my father out because he was frail + dying, I will never have any respect. All my father wanted was one glass of beer. It still makes me so angry + breaks my heart.
Thank you to that British soldier who put his life + his career on the line as a guard protecting the Queen's Palace to
break protocol to help another veteran, no matter what he looked like 💂🇬🇧

It is is absolutely untruthful and and completely fabricated pack of lies which insults the UK Household Division Foot Guards troops and uniforms. Adding earings is an absolute travesty.
The only thought it provokes is how the hell can this insult be allowed to be published and earn money? How long would it last if it portayed US troops?

It's fiction. Do you really think if someone tried to lay hands on a guard on duty that he would be left on his own? No chance. And the thugs would have been arrested for assault. And, they would have a protocol for such things. All fiction.

Rubbish - look at the supposed guard's uniform - there are so many aspects which are wrong including the fact that the model, pretending to be a Royal Guard, is wearing an earring in each year which is absolutely forbidden. Moreover, any awards are made within the Palace and never on any forecourt. It is unbelievable that any person could be conned by this garbage.

Mixed emotions on this 1. As a retired ARMY vet, I see the changes that are happening over time, all the time. Some I agree with, others I don't. I understand protocol/duties usually take precedence over everything else. That being said, this man was a decorated vet who served his country well. The least they can do is defend that man. That man could be the reason you are here today but, you'd never know it. Kudos to you young man for doing the right thing, even if it could've cost you dearly. If only everyone had as much Honor, Loyalty, Passion, Respect, Compassion etc like yourself, we'd live in a beautiful world.

The old Marcus was later seen standing as a statue in a garden nearby decorated with his medals.
The retired life of that guard of the palace was not good. He was often heckled by his own family members that those cheap metals are of no value for money and that his unwavering loyalty to the Monarchy has earned him nothing!
However, he had great respect for them as they were granted to him by the late Queen Elizabeth II for his loyal services to the British Monarchy.
As for James, he became a Royal Equerry and remained close to the late Queen.

This may not have been what the video was about, but it is important. To have eternal life, to escape hell, do not to try to do religious deeds and reform yourself morally. It's like offering a bribe to God to clear you of your bad deeds, because a good work will not clear bad deeds, like in any court. If you’ve so much as lied and stolen you already stand as a liar and thief before God. The Bible states that the wages of sin is death, but that the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ. This is God’s mercy: Most people know Jesus died on the cross 2,000 years ago, but many may not consider that He paid for our fine of death. We broke God’s law, Jesus paid our fine on the cross. He rose from the dead 3 days later, and all that you have to do to have eternal life and to be saved from hell is that while you should of course confess and turn from your sins, the only thing to help you is to repent to God, to trust alone in what Jesus did for you on the cross rather than trying to make your own way to God. If you would turn to Jesus and trust Him, you will be saved from hell and eternal death. It's not about joining a religious system or trying to earn it, but just turning to God and being given mercy because of what He did for you. Why can you go to heaven? Because Jesus paid for your sins already and will clear your case when you simply trust Him to save you. The Bible says that God is rich in mercy to all who call upon Him, and the way that mercy can be given is through Jesus. Jesus said that He is the Way, Truth, and Life, and that nobody goes to the Father otherwise. There’s no other way about it. The validity of this promise, as well as there being a real judgement, is clear through the prophecies of the Bible being fulfilled throughout the years with many being fulfilled now, with one example being in the nations coming against Israel in the current day such as Iran, Russia (which really wasn’t much of a developed or powerful area at the time), and Turkey among others being predicted in the book of Ezekiel. Life tomorrow is not promised, so today is the day to turn and have life. Do not forsake your eternity for temporary pleasures!
