That's how I learned the hole numbering in high school and I wanna teach these 8u kids that system as weell but for whatever reason they wanna teach the 8u the high school playbook and I'm even confused about the numbering system.
@@coachparker IMO the playing fields starts leveling out, and kids aren’t going to be able to outrun everyone and always be bigger than everyone. I like the basics and adding from there. I like a lot of it but in moderation. If you are clobbering a team between the tackles 3-4 and 5yards, what’s the point
One thing about football I learned through my years coaching. Simple always works.
Yep simple works and everyone has a different variation of simple.
This is how I learned. I formation, pro set (split back) and power I.
the I and its variants are so easy to teach and learn.

Funny that hs system may not be run when they are in hs. I always find that issue funny.
At youth “spread” offense is the new wave
It's really on the downside of the slope. Imo. It's gotten to o predictable.

We are a I formation with a lot of power
we also believe in power
Is this offense good at the high school level
It is the I formation, I would hope so.
