Regarding the story.. Hiko starts Kenshin's introduction to the ultimate technique by teaching (and showing) him the Kuzu Ryu Sen. Since Hiko has much higher raw physical strength (just look at the muscles!) than Kenshin, his Kuzu Ryu Sen will always defeat Kenshin's. Kenshin gets a bit depressed since he won't be able to defeat Shishio with a technique he can't utilise properly (which you mentioned). Hiko pulls out another technique, telling Kenshin that he never said the Kuzu Ryu Sen was the ultimate technique. Basically it's the requirement to learn the Amakakeru Ryu No Hirameki. But that technique, needs to be figured out by the Hiten Mitsurugi student all on their own. Kenshin figures out that the only way to truly counter a technique that strikes all 9 vital points with godlike speed, is to use battou-jutsu. The nature of Amakakeru ryu no Hirameki is to strike the opponent just when the user is about te be attacked. The manga words this perfectly, it's a technique that requires one to be just within a paper's width of the moment they are about to be struck by an opponent. Wow.. kind of got carried away there huh ^^ Keep up the great work Vizzed! I'll make sure to put up my thoughts on the video later!
Ah thanks dude. My minds a little foggy with Kenshin and stuff, and I think I did mention if anyone has an translation or idea of what's going on to put it up. Thanks again. ^^
Slight correction. Kenshin performed the kuzu ryu sen perfectly his master, Soujiro Hiko, said his was considered the strongest. That is why Kenshin was beaten by his masters attack.
Not just the strongest but that he is bigger a stronger than kenshin physically .. kenshin couldnt beat him with a technique that he not only mastered a long time ago but also the attack with the most power will always win in the mirror match
can you move as fast on this game as kenshin in the anime ??? he can pretty much vanish on the anime... I see you can kind of doing a quick dashing move, it doesn't leave an after image tho (like shinobi on ps2). how do you do the dash move ?
+RawDawg903 What you see is what you get, and well..., anime is anime, so they'll do certain design choices just because they want to make the character seem so powerful, but think about it this way...why is he vanishing? If the anime shows him vanish, then we aren't seeing from his eyes, but instead those around him who don't have eyes trained to see people move as fast as he does. So, this would be kenshin from his eyes. Though, that's just a theory. Otherwise, this was the game designer's design choice to not bother with creating an awesome after image like Makoto from street fighter or Hotsuma in shinobi. Maybe they didn't make him vanish because of their sometimes bad camera, if he disappeared and the camera suddenly moved in such a way, it would be hard to keep track of where he really is. (locking on also resets the camera behind kenshin in a snap and if the positioning is bad, you can't see kenshin at all). I don't remember any of the controls as this was 2 years ago.
Lol, that victory march. Trot all over his face. And wait! Didnt he like die? XD did a very sad kenshin just drag his body back into the house, face down to suffocate!? Just left him like that. Murderer ;_;
LOL! I'm ROFL, never thought of it that way. And yes, I have to victory march all over him, show Hiko out with some style! Anyway, soon, I'll be facing off with Sojiro who is really as fast as he was in the anime being able to move to the point which you can't even see him and it really sucks when that happens. THIS PARTY'S GETTING CURRRAZZY!
I wish they’d make a new rurouni kenshin game based on the new gaming world

RawDawg903 I have, but it was at a convention so not all the characters were unlocked.

Yeah, I'm thinking of just concentrating on this series for a bit and getting it done. I feel close to the end
