Step 1: Like it
Step 2: Watch it
Step 3: get inspired to ride
Step 4: realize that you’re going to die if you ride like they do
Step 5: still ride but feel kinda depressed because you imagined it like a hotline video but it’s more like a granddad riding to the grocery store
Step 6: still be kinda happy because you rode your bike regardless of how you did it was still fun
Being on your bike is enough to feel alive. No matter how fast or slow you roll
Yup. I dont have the balls to ride like that. Already been in a bad road accident once. Nevertheless, I still appreciate the talent, the beauty, the scenery, the riding styles, and this gets me motivated to jump on my bike and enjoy riding it.
I got hit on my commuter bike that is basically a Christmas tree on wheels. Bought a road bike and pulled the brakes off because if I'm going to eat it from cages I might as well enjoy my ride :/
There is that extra level of disappointment as you sit there...heavily breathing waiting for the light to change thinking “they wouldn’t have stopped”
Bout to go for my Grandpa ride now
I am 320 pounds. Have binged watch almost every video and went on a 20 mile ride today on my road bike that I brought 9 years ago and rode only a few times. Dedicating myself to 59 miles a week
fuck yeah bro! dont work too hard, gotta start off somewhere y'know? Keep up the hardwork and I promise you itll pay off. Youll thank youself too homie
Matt Wallace appreciate it Matt.
It's mostly what you *eat* , not exercise. Eat whole food plant based, however much you want, and you'll never gain weight. Believe me, talking from experience.
Maxim P I need to lose weight my friend!

That's what I meant. The best way and fastest way is through dietary changes.
6:10 man is riding like cj from san andreas
pedaling hard af🤣
how many watts
Classic style.
Lmao 🤣🤣🤣
I guess..they'll be averaging 280
Grove street. Home.
Real time speed, good audio, no cuts. Good times.
but there were cuts
I am addicted to this guy's videos. Never been to new York so, this is almost like sight seeing for me. Would be very cool to watch a 360° video done this way. Then, you could scan while watching the ride.
@Terry B please do what this man wrote.
Was in NYC twice, 2016 & 2018. Both times it was just awesome, but I just recently discovered the fixed gear/ singlespeed community and the videos of Terry B. Just awesome content, love him!
6:10 Looks like CJ got a ticket to Liberty City 😂😂😂😂
Terry, these hotline videos are crazy addictive. And how beautiful is New York.
You KNOW your city has amazing roads when you can roll around in a track bike like it’s nothing
Certain streets n mostly main avenues have good roads. The rest are shit
The level of light the sun gave to this video it’s perfect 👌🏽
This guy flows and that left turn at the beginning was nuts but he steers straight into every car with its turn signal on.
What a nail biter. I clenched the whole ride. Maybe I should wait for when "Hotline - Chasing Granny Bikes Loaded with Groceries" drops?
this footage is so beautiful and so immersive!
Great content as always Terry. Thank you for the work. I took the bike for a quick spin today in the city for the first time this week and quickly remember how much i love riding and the joy that it brings me.
I absolutely love your tech and bike videos. Not only do I get to discover New-York, but the rush is unique and enticing. I envy you your weather, imagine, because here winter biking is sufficiently hard even for my converted fixie into a winter bike (Yes, I need brakes). My 700X30 studded tires don't suffice most of the time and snowstorms and freezing rain make it hard as hell to go out and ride. Here, at this time of year, we are definitely in fatbike territory. Thanks and keep him coming. ;-)
Jaque Parisien got the same kind of weather in my area too, it has been snowing/raining for 3 days. I run a 700x30 studded tire in the front and a cx tire in the rear.
4:38 this is how you guys supposed to turn.
always

These guys are the best because they don't force pedestrians or traffic to react at all.
Glad you did a rough cut of this video...
I enjoyed it even more!🤙🏿✌🏿
Smooooooth AF ! Y’all boys stay safe !
Today's The Perfect Day for some Rainy Footage. 🌧
Hey Terry, I really love what you've done on this channel. I get really excited when I see anything new from you. Keep up the original content.
BEAST MODE. Can't wait to get back to delivering in Chicago.
*ButterRoll*
Soul is so intact
Props and ovation³ 👏
Man I miss ny, this is like being back again for a few minutes🔥
Julian B same here. I love being a messenger in NYC
3:44 after this moment it looks like a game. The Best Game I Have Ever Seen. Unfortunatly that game doesn't exist.
It’s called life.
🚲🔥🔥🔥🔥 so sick and the way the buildings and sun coming into play like that man your a amazing filmer and insanely skilled cyclist
Oh I see the happy puppy waggy fender is back again !
4:22 Damn that was close!
man i'd love to ride my fixie through NYC (assuming this is NYC?) Thanks for the footage Terry, love from Australia!
Todays my birthday terry!! Thanks for the upload!!!!!! 🚴♂️🚴🏼🚴♀️
Happy Birthday 🎉
*wearing a puffy jacket* : _this wind is killing me_
beautiful riding though 👌

Fender dancers
I stop my ride just to watch that ride.
That guy has some serious skill!!
Hi Terry!!
I'm glad you're back on New York's streets
These videos caught in the city are the best.
The real "jungle"
Greetings from Paraguay.

This felt like a cool third person game
come to SouthAmerica!
Get outta the bus lane!!..... So I can be there lol. Broadway smooth 90 percent of the time. Riding with no bag, uggggghhh the freedom.
Hey Terry any idea what gear ratio he was running?
I was so confused when I saw the 1st rider on a fixie doing skids then the 2nd rider on a single gear. At first I I thought it was the same guy...like when tf did he switch his rear wheel.
I ride way differently since watching these videos
same tbh
Loved the new camera angles! Keep it up
At the time they went across one avenue I would have toured my entire city, im jealous
Heading out to ride through Boston now...
Nice footage
Very good congratulations from Brazil! Muito bom parabéns.
Nicely done. It was cool with some Faith No More playing in the background.
Back with my favorite pov angle! love every single one of your content, stay safe and happy riding
Enjoyed that.....when I say this I mean it in a respectful way....wouldn't you be better wearing a bright coloured jacket....from a safety aspect.
Rob 🤣
I’m the one filming :)
its all good he got an orange beanie on. Everyone can see him.
i think its generally better to blend in. but in the rain its often the difference between 4 people walking in front of you and 3 doors opening (in a given block) and 3 people walking in front of you and 2.5 doors opening. if this sounds silly, try riding around midtown manhattan in the rain wearing all black vs with a little dayglow yellow; i'm converted.
So would stopping 😂😂
was that the sound of an accident @9:25 ?
That backview kinda trippy though
Is anything wrong with his right ankle ://
Killing it
I literally thought this was a video game for the first 20 seconds
This looks like a game
really wish i had a bike when i was in new york
nice graphics
I love how you scare the shit out of normal people just trying to go to work, all the horns honking is hilarious 🤣
I want orange bar tape now.
I could keep up
今日もいい動画っすね
Love these videos. They're beautiful and unique - you've called this artform your own.
They're like superhuman athletes, if I ride like them I'd get a heart attack
Hey @terrybarensten love your videos and the skills on show, you helped me loads with riding in traffic in London - so much glide fun - what are the kind of average speeds you are travelling at please ?
Is "Hotline" the riskiest line and "coldline" the safest?
why the HELL do cars drive so slow in NYC god i wish european cities were the same
Got dat stanky right leg going

But i've seen this episode before, its old :D

Hey Terry when will you post a Mike Hernandez hotline video? Really looking forward to it!
Are these single speed bikes? You guys go so fast
I think they are because I can’t see any cassette on the rear wheel hub
ItalianStallion they move so quickly!
it would be nice to show the speed on the screen
Who’s the first guy? He’s fast
thank u for smashing your mic in the beginning
They are character from GTA in real life.
Well if u did this in my country , 5mn will be in hospital.
Mike Hernandez!?
Yes sir
Anyone know what gear ratio the guy in he blue bike is pushing?!
What is hotline ? Sorry kinda new to riding bike 🚴
He was in the chrome video right? The firefighter.
What’s the difference between a hotline and a coldline?
Looks dangerous and scary. Disrespectful of pedestrians. Disrespectful of drivers.
Danger = fear. Fear = exhilaration.
As far as the disrespect is concerned, it's New York City. It's just the way it is. You can't pack people like sardines in Manhattan and expect them all to be kind when they bump shoulders lol
@@BariNgozi Accidentally bumping shoulders is one thing, cutting off cars is another. Both of these are not a big deal in my mind. But racing towards pedestrians crossing the street is dangerous and unacceptable, and could seriously injure the pedestrian.
@@caduceus33 Welcome to NYC lol find it unsafe? Steer clear of the city
*gets anxiety in suburban biking*
Would love to see DBlocks in an alleycat.
Leo Macias yeah but only on a fixed gear
Niceeee
Life is better on a bike.
Leaked footage of GTA 6
GTA V never looked better.
what's the riders name? his IG? Thanks Uncle Terry B in advance....
He has none
what kind of bike are you riding while recording?
that guy rides
how fast do they go??
🤘
So people are ok with you touching/grabbing their cars?
Not sure what you mean. I had both hands on my bars while filming this
Really depends on where you're at, it's illegal but if you live in a cyclist heavy area and people regularly "skitch" it's a touch and go thing. Some people don't care others do but not much they can do about it.
Am I the only one looking at his right foot and thinking about the bike fit?
Чёрная мамба/black mamba!
What gear ratio are you guys riding?
"Hotline or coldline?"
I was questioning that to not sure but I think its referring to the amount of traffic.
@@dragonseyecycling8448 Cool
I have some difficult to understand some expressions. I'm learning english and many times is hard for me to take the context. Thank you bro.
nah lukewarmline is better
@@dragonseyecycling8448 I'm pretty sure he's talking about what level of crazy his buddy was feeling for todays ride.
Just to clarify he's talking about the temperature. He's wearing a warm coat and hat, the video is typically called 'hotline' but because it's a very cold day he jokes that they're filming a 'coldline' instead
what camera do u use bro ?
What frame is he on?
So When is this coming out on ps5 then?
Available now
How is the camera so stable?
Gimbal mount
It feels like playing GTA
