By the way, guys, if you put this plug-in on two channels and apply a guitar signal to both, then shift each on different sides to the right and left, you get a pseudo double track !!! This is an incredible feature, I hope this is not a bug that will eventually be fixed because playing with realtime doubletracks is very cool! I bought this plugin today and it's an incredible sound, there are almost no hissing high frequencies and sand, it feels like the plugin was made for a very long time and meticulously.

Can anyone offer any suggestions please... I'm fairly new to plugins and using my LTD H1000 with SD JB pickup with a UA Volt 2 paired with a set of KRK Rocket 5's, so not cheap equipment, I've downloaded this plugin and using the same presets Abel does here, mine sounds like absolute trash, like real fuzzy and bassy, no clarity, just mud almost like turning the gain and volume all the way up on a 5w practice amp with a £50 guitar! lol HELP!!

Maybe put new strings? Check the cables, make sure you turn up the input enough so that the amp is receiving enough signal to distort properly - turn up your input all the way you can without clipping for example...
VSTs sound like trash though in any case, but you can get the results you see in this video for sure

@@downcode Thanks for the reply! Yeah I've got new strings, and done all the neccisary with the interface.
Maybe because I'm used to hearing my EVH 5150 Stealth through a Zilla cab and now hearing the plugin, it simply just sounds inferior in a way... still confused how Abel's sounds so crystal clear and great though, like what's he doing that I'm not!? Guitar>interface>plugin with Josh's preset>monitors! That's it right!? haha

Hey man, you might need to check your buffer/sample rate in the plugin or your DAW. I remember first figuring out my setup with plugins was a bit of a nightmare and seemed overly-complicated. There are certain settings that can make things sound completely wrong, but I disagree with the above comment. Certain plugins, especially ones that are as heavily refined and meticulously made as Josh's and Neural DSP for example can be studio quality with a small bit of tweaking. I'm not the best person to ask for getting set up, but definitely do a bit of research on getting set up properly to make sure everything is right, I'm sure you'll be very happy with the tones you get when it's working properly

I'd also recommend trying to play/listen through your computer first rather than your amp. Especially considering the fact that you're throwing a practice amp's gain on top of this plugin, this will muddy it up and it won't sound the way it was intended

@@monkeyaskswhy thanks for the reply! I’ve checked that too, just literally gone through everything I can find in the plug-in, used different guitar cables, 3 different guitars with different pickups and all sound similarly bassy, without clarity and not like the high end gain tones I was expecting to hear!?
