Your video is very helpful, but I have a question that, what duty cycle will you choose to generate drive pulse for mosfet, D =0.2 or D=0.8, hope you will answer soon. Thanks
Excellent case ,In all cases we need a control circuit to vary delta so that the output is regulated, is it possible to make a lecture on such a circuit, even broadly as block diagram I have a problem with power electronics generally that is it's telling only half of the story 😊
Hi my book gives the same formulas of the ripple voltage and inductor ripple current except that it divides it by 2. That is because it considers the current to be half the current ripple slope. Does this affects the calculation ?
thank you for such useful video! I have one question about how to choose mosfet for such DC-DC converter. Particularly I'm interested in such parameter of MOSFET as "Vds". So since we calculated our converter for output voltage 10v under load 10 Ohm, I assume that if we will disconnect the load, output voltage will start increasing. So it may damage mosfet if it will be much bigger than Vds parameter of MOSFET. So how to properly calculate DC-DC output voltage when load is not attached?
It depend, if you have negative feedback, the system will modify the duty cycle to stay at the same output voltage. If you don't have negative feedback, and a changing load, your output voltage will change, and if you remove the load, output voltage will increase, and destroy your MOSFET, your diode, and your capacitor.
@@Elkhateb Pls clarify on this one. This is just like Transformer operation right? Where input power and output power remains same but only V and I is varied.
Thank You. This clarified so much for me, not just how to apply T =1/f
المقطع الوحيد اللي خلاني افهم حقیقه تصميم boost converter
Insightful, thank you sir🤩👍🏿
Thank you for the video. It is really helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you sir, It was very informative video. Thank you again for sharing your knowledge with us!!! 👏 👏 👏 ❤️❤️👍👍🙏🙏🙏
Thank you, Sir. A really helpful video.
Keep it up! 😊
👍
Nice video
Thanks for the valuable video .
Great video Ahmad 😀
How to calculate the input capacitance ?

In general, how much of boost converter handle the maximum power? Possible to 5kw ?
Thank you so much.
Interesting video
Thank you!

because it's not the whole story

Which book is that?

Sir can you please explain how you calculate ∆v/v voltage ripple for capacitor
And please tell me,
Did you assume switching frequency
can we make 24 input to 1000v boost converter
Thank u
How to calculate the frequency for the boost converter?
It's an assumption you use
Think ucfor the vedeo
how can we decrease the input current of the boost converter
if you increase the load resistance, the input current will be decreased by default.

CCM or DCM??
how to find out the resistor values in real aplication for example the design of boost for supplying bldc controller ... thank you for the lecturer
