Gabe, the wedge you grabbed and said you can just buy attachments is actually a tool itself. You sit it on a log you want to split and drive it into it and it splits it.

@@brailleskateboarding I love these.. Maybe use two exact completes as the base next time and give each team 2 rolls of duct tape, 20 wood screws and a drill. Also, let each team have a "build pro" (someone with construction knowledge) to help out in the build stage, and give them a little bit more time to do so.

To make victory more decisive, it would be cool if you gave each team an item that they have to put on the board. If that item falls off, or gets broken, then that team loses.

next time i think to insure accuracy, you should tie a bungee to the front trucks of both battle boards and pull them back away from each other. obviously in a protected ring of some sort. this way the boards hit each other every time

Awesome! Yes more! I think every battle board should have a bucket in the center that acts as a life bar. Can be patched with tape between rounds. Once depleted, it loses.
This series is random… but I love it
I've really been thinking about the glow-painted-ramp, laser-trucks idea. I know how to do it. Besides creating abstract art, it could also be used to judge the highest wall-ride.

I keep coming back and watching the BattleBots skateboards like to see more BattleBots series like different places Dick's Sporting Goods or maybe a Bass Pro Shop other than just a improvement store you got to think outside the box
What about a series of different run ups, like the board wars decathlon using quarter pipes but maybe add a launch after the drop in so they hit in mid air. One could be where they both need to drop into something solid like the parking curb for a durability test and some buckets of water with food colouring as damage/precision event. Could bring in some sort of fire obstacle like a low bar with something flammable on it so it has to ramp over. You could either make the fire obstacle a surprise obstacle that the teams don't know about which could be a make or break one team, or you could tell them that its an obstacle right before they go shopping so they need scrap whatever plans they had in mind eg, duct tape would be a bad idea by itself.
Another Idea that would be much easier to add, I'm thinking if the judge picks a winner regardless of who's bot lasts longer then you could add some sub-categories for things like, best looking, most damage, strongest protection, fastest, most precision/consistent hits so both teams have a chance to win something and not all PvP. I really love this concept and i really feel like Board Battles can very much turn into Braille's own Game Show more extreme and get more views the without spending more money.
Also just thought of this.. i KNOW there are people out there going "I WOULD HAVE MADE IT LIKE THIS AND ADDED THAT etc etc etc etc... "Let them make it and send in a new edition of "You Send It.. We Battle It", make them go against the winner of the 2 Braille teams (allow them to make repairs or dont) kinda like a final boss.

Yeah you definitely should have told them that they had to use a regular board beforehand Gabey... a board with a flat nose would have been ideal.

For those interested, I just came up with a way to make an ankle exercise a lot more effective. You want to do this calve exercise, where you will basically do a push up with your ankle, stand on your toes and back. But I felt this worked my calves rather than the muscles in my foot, which I wanted to target. What you want to do is do this exercise but lean on one side of your foot while doing so, so for instance, hover with your big toe above the ground and then do this, you'll feel the muscle work which often gets torn in a spraining. You don't stretch the muscle, but you make it work. Obviously, do this exercise very carefully and also leaning with your weight on your big toe.

tape the skateboards to the top of a remote control car first and the build on top of that, then you can drive the skateboards around and fight!

If there was a VHS tape with a recording of a bunch of hamburger and french-fry people trying to stuff Chris into a nugget box. I would probably try to keep it in a nice moisture resistant case and maybe put it on a top shelf or something. You know, like give special consideration to it.
