- Some people hunt deer. Some hunt tornadoes. Being a storm chaser takes Pecos Hank @PecosHank to places he never thought he’d go otherwise, like getting a behind-the-scenes tour of America. A character in his own story, Hank’s fearlessness in his pursuit for the one monster that truly exists is punctuated by the opportunity of being right there when the community - his community - gets hit.

No one cares about the NRA, but YETI is against your right to bare arms. If they arent it would be cool if they explained what gun laws they would like added to the thousand plus and why they think they would help law abiding citizens and not criminals.

Hank has captured some of my favorite videos of tornadoes. An absolute legend. I also have to shout out Mike Olbinski for some of the most beautiful time-lapses of storms and tornadoes I've ever seen. He's a great watch to.

When I was 9, I saw my first tornado and was terrified. A couple of years later, I started watching Pecos Hank. Hank is now the reason why I will be going to college to become a meteorologist. Thanks Hank!

I discovered Hank while going to college for meteorology😂 wasn't much into youtube until covid started. I witnessed an ef4 first hand in dallas in 2015, and I've driven into a rain wrapped ef0 on accident while driving to college(I was not the driver, the driver ignored my warnings and just kept plowing forward despite the horizon being black, I'm extremely thankful it was only ef0.) And that prompted me to study and take an interest in tornadoes and severe weather. Found Hank in 2021 during college and have been watching him since. Love his content

I am also proud to call Hank a great friend. Fantastic down to earth human being. I’ve done 2 Zoom calls with him and exchanged some messages with him on Patreon, and every time I’ve spoken with him has been absolutely wonderful. I definitely look forward to meeting him in person at some point.

For those who aren't familiar, Hank is more than a chaser. His channel is excellent for getting some weather science on storm-related phenomena that is both in-depth and easy to understand, and his time lapse videos of non-tornadic storms are as beautiful and awe-inspiring as anything you will ever see. I personally think he lays up some good karma for himself by his kind acts for small animals (snakes, turtles, even dung beetles) that gives him safe passage from Nature as he gets crazy close to deadly tornadoes. Hank is a rock star in my book.

Hank to me is like the love child of Steve Irwin and Bob Ross. He's so wholesome and passionate about what he does, you can't help but but to be drawn in! I've always loved watching storms whenever they roll through, but I find myself appreciating them more and noticing more about them.
I am tickled pink that our turtle-rescuing, June bug-narrating’, snake-wrangling, PeeWee Herman-impersonating scientist / musician / full time storm-chaser has finally gotten his own movie. I especially love the drone shot of the three different roads spliced into one frame, and the mid-chase comment, “We’re kinda safe-Ish.” Hank, you’re just the best there is - we love you. Keep doing what you do.

It's not just tornados, Hank is the first person to do a full show on red sprites. I had never even heard of those before seeing that episode and it's one the most amazing acts of nature I have seen.

Pecos truly is the weather gunslinger, a lone ranger guided only by his maps and instincts. He’s humble, down-to-Earth, fearless, yet always cautious. I’ve followed his content even since the early beginnings of his career, and I’ve always been completely intrigued by him and the storms he’s willing to chase. Pecos is unlike any other person. I will never stop supporting this man and his incredible content and drive to chase the unknown.

Fascinating portrait of a man who is a bit crazy, but also courageous, thoughtful, kind and droll. He also produces outstanding imagery and he talks to animals. What a guy!
Hank's lower key, light hearted and (relatively) sensible chase style is a joy to watch. No screaming, no pretend drama. His photography and video are beautiful, and his explanations of tornado and lightning phenomenon are awesome. The wildlife shots are a fun aside! A Pecos Hank video is an immediate click from me!

Hank is one of the best documentarians I’ve ever seen - all of his videos are of exceptional quality and not only focus on tornadoes but also on the creatures he finds. One of the coolest and most talented people I’ve found on the internet.
I’m glad Hank is getting real about how much danger he’s in. I pray he stays safe and continues to do his amazing work.

Gotta tell ya one of Hank’s most endearing qualities is not only his top tier storm chasing ability, but his genuine love of nature and all the critters, big and small, that make it so fascinating. I’ve lost count of how many snapping turtles alone he’s saved from ending up as roadkill in his videos. Just a delightful person. Peace! :)
