My FAVORITE thing to do to prep for a new semester is to buy all my school supplies (I’m a sucker for stationary) and then put all my exams for the semester on one large calendar. Good luck this semester everyone! ☺️❤️🙏🏽
I love that! I love stationary ❤️ good luck to you and everyone this semester! Let’s finish strong together and look forward to summer 😊
I’m a freshman at University of Oregon! I’m a forensic psychology major (so I definitely get your fascination with thriller & crime books) but I literally got covid the second day of winter term 😭 I finally get to go back to campus this Sunday but I’m so behind and lowkey depressed about everything. These kinds of videos really motivate me to get back in the groove of things.
Love me some crime & thriller books ☺️ so sorry to hear that you got covid.. I recently tested positive but I’m recovering so fast! The only downfall is that I haven’t been able to get my taste back but How have you been doing?
I’m considered a sophomore at my community college. I’m going for business administration and transferring to Ferris in Fall of 2023. I’m taking 4 classes this Spring semester and I start this week coming up. I’m taking all online classes except 1 is live online Tuesday nights. Thank you for your videos.
That’s amazing!! I was also a transfer student too (: good luck to you this semester! You’ll do great 😊
Favourite prep for the new semester is spring cleaning and doing a digital declutter 😊
Love that!
Hi Angelina! I am a third year university student in Canada and I am in a combined honours in Social Anthropology and International Development Studies :) When I prep for a new semester I use Notion (a free organization app/website) and I put all my assignments for all my courses in a calendar as well, a to do list by month and a recap of the evaluations of each course! I also put every due date in a physical planner as well. A great tip i would suggest is every week, make a to do list for all the assignments that are due that week, and the next week. That way you aren’t caught off guard by any assignments! I am also in five courses and I have a pretty heavy course load so I went hard on the organization this year! You’ve got this girl :) (sorry for the long comment)
AHH that’s amazing! Thank you for sharing with me ☺️ I used notion in the past but for some reason I can’t seem to use it well.. thank you for sharing tips with us. It was so helpful!! 🤍good luck to you this semester. Let’s finish strong!!
Hi dear, I'm a student in Canada to, I really want to do the honor cheminement, can you tell me how the honor program is please? It's my second semester for the first my grades are not to bad B and A do you think those grades are good for asking next year for this ?
@@CyraLys Hi there! For my university, to apply to honours you have to have at least an A- (80-84) in all the courses in your discipline. So if you want to do an honours in English, you will have to have at least an A- in those classes. But as for your electives and other courses, you need an overall B (70-74) in all courses. I believe that’s how it works for me but check out your university’s honours requirements but it sounds like you’re doing great! Good luck with your degree 😁🤍
Hello! New here, I’m a business administration major with a concentration in marketing (Junior year) and one thing I like to do to prep is look at all the syllabus and get a list of books I need!
Hi! Thank you so much for stopping by (: so happy to have another business admin here!!
@@AngelinaKhang Haha yes! No problem loved the video can't wait to see more!
Hi Angelina! College student here: Creative Writing major. I like to read the syllabus for all my classes and then after jot down my class schedule on a google spreadsheet.
I love your videos girly and you are sooo close to 100k! AHHHH 😩❤️
Love that idea! I personally just like to write it in my planner since I’m constantly using it anyways but thank you in advance 🥺❤️
I normally start preparing 1 week ahead, but if I am running behind schedule, I always make sure I have the right mindset as to how I want to start the next semester.
I usually prepare a week in advance too but I just happen to procrastinate this semester 😅 which was not a good idea lol
@@AngelinaKhang lol I do that all the time too!
Colleen Hoover's books are amazing, I've read three of her books now. Just finished Verity.
I agree! Her writing is beautiful and well structure. The characters are well developed plus the storyline is so good 😊 I saw Verity at my bookstore too, what’s your thoughts on it?
I'm happy to find a non-reader who plans on reading books 🥺 I'll go borrow some books from my siblings stash to start lol
I am so glad that I'm not the only one who does this! Prepping for the semester helps me out so much. Having a planner is takes a lot of pressure off of me as well.
i agree! good luck to you this semester (:
love how honest u r with ur emotions abt independence on camera. still in the middle of the video but I'm so excited to binge ur content after finding ur channel hehe
Thank you so much!!
I’m also a senior (visual arts major) working on my final 6 credit hours. Woo hoo! My prep includes putting all due dates into my planner/calendar and planning out my first 2 weeks of work day by day. Oh, and an author I definitely recommend is James Patterson for thrillers! I’ve been obsessed. My fav is Invisible.
yay!! congratulations!! proud of you (: thank you for the recommendations, i will look in to it (:
Omgg I would love a mini book club
Gone girl, woman in the window, girl on the train, if u look up “cozy mystery” those are always good, Dan Brown books, midnight at the blackbird cafe
I’ve watched gone girl and loved it! Thank you! I never know what kind of genre to look up and that seems like my type. Thank you 💕
supermarket book by the logic is the best book I have read!!!! Definitely recommend!!!
Also a business administration major here! Love your videos ♥️
YESSSS to another business major 🤍
A book to check out is All the Missing Girls. It has a twist ending, too. It was so good.
ohh i love plot twist!! currently reading "one of us is lying" and its going good so far (:
@@AngelinaKhang I’ll have to check that one out. I need something new to read.
It Ends With Us, people say it's overrated thinking about the "romance". I highly recommend it to create awareness of what the book is actually about. I think you will love it once you realize what it's actually about.
I agree! I tried to go in with an open mind and I’m so glad I did. It ends with us made me fall in love with Colleen’s writing. I can’t wait to read her other novels ☺️
I’m just learning how important it is to be organized for school. Thanks for posting this video.
Of course! I hope you enjoyed the video ☺️
I'm excited for the second semester. Also, you're so close to 100k
AHHH thank you in advance!! And have a great semester 🤍
I love to read and I'm reading the book Renegades by Marissa Meyer as of right now. I've only just started yesterday, but I'm already halfway! I've been wanting to read It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover, but I haven't gotten the chance to get it yet. Anyways, I'm stoked to see your review on it!
I’ve heard so many great reviews about Renegade! Currently adding it in my list rn ☺️
I’m starting uni here in Australia this year so I’m super excited!! Something I did to prep was buy all my school supplies (trying to make sure their practical but also aesthetic yk)
I never did this, untill a few days ago. I set a study time. Which means for me I try to study 3 hours every day. This is aproachable for me and I will be able to keep up with it while also working, taking care of myself etc.
That is my main goal for this semester, so I will build a habit and because of this I hoprfully will not fall behind on my work.
I may go to the hairdresser to get a fresh haircut and feel fresh.
thats amazing! i can only study for 3 hours straight is if i lock myself in the library lol pls share some tips on how you do it!!
Well point is I am trying to do it. But U have studied two hours a day the last few days and that has worked. How I do it? Well I plan my day and try to figure out where I would have time or if i need to split my hours up. Last semester my motivation was so low I had trouble with deadlines. So much stress. This is why it is working for me now. I don't want that stress again. I am not sure if I will keep the 3 hour mark, maybe it becomes two hours who knows. Hopefully three because that feels more productive. But if only two will fit in my schedule everyday then two it is.
I am not sure if this makes sense but if I need to explain more let me know
Accounting! Dude I love your videos they’re simply in the best way 🥺 your videos just help me with my anxious mornings. It’s slow pace and relaxing. Thank you 🥰💗
Thank you for this video. I just discovered you channel and i love it ! New subscriber ! Greating from France

Loved the video and you again scratched yourself and I don't think I have seen you wear earrings a lot but it looks pretty on you 🥰❤❤❤❤
LOL my skin has been pretty sensitive these days.. but aww i don't usually like to wear earrings unless im going out 😂
just found your yt channel so that’s why I’m pretty late to this video, but I love the book “Then She Was Gone” (4/5) , “Everything Everything” (5/5) , “My Secret to Tell” (5/5) and “ We Were Liars” (4.5/5) . Just a couple of book recommendations !
Hey! This is my second time I college I took a 4 year break. I’m considered a sophomore and will be transferring to university after this semester. This is my first semester of honors classes as well. I never feel like I can start a new semester until I clean my house and my car. You should definitely read the seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo!
thank you for sharing with us! i heard about that book! will add it onto my lists (: thank you for the reccomendation!
i've never heard of syllabus quizzes before 😳 tbh i'm jealous you had so many syllabus available this early!! most of mine came out the day of the first class which it absolutely terrible 🥲
I went to UNCG also. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 those Syllabus quizzes! 😭😭😭
Really? I thought most class has syllabus quizzes lol this is like the professors way of getting you to read it and see what the expectations are for the class 😅
Ahh I’m from NC 😁. I just found your channel and I’m excited to binge watch!
So happy to have you here 😊
UNCG ayeeee…I miss Greensboro so much (I’m in Charlotte now) thank you for all the tips, definitely going to use!!
I can’t wait to use the productivity tips in my life! 💫 Keep rising to be who you want to be! 💫 #keeprising #risingtobe #aswerise #riser
thank you
I'm not even in school but excited to watch! 😂
Hehe thank you ☺️
BOOK RECOMMENDATION! : The Talented Mr. Ripley by Patricia Highsmith (it was also adapted for a few movies but I recommend reading the book first because it gives you a better grasp of the whole concept.
It's a tad old but that's what makes it so rich in history. I love the interactions between characters, and the portrayal of the MC's thoughts. The literature and descriptions are overall, amazing. It's probably not the type of book everyone likes but imo it's pretty neat.
It's actually like a whole series but this is the most famous one (aka only one i've read so far). To anyone else reading this, it's definitely a good read but if you are homophobic, it's not for you because it has queer mentions. Well rather, the main character(a sociopath) becomes obsessed with his new target who happens to be a man.
The short summary(from the internet cause I suck at summaries):
Tom Ripley, a young American ne'er-do-well, travels to Italy on an unusual assignment, to convince a rich man's son to return home. Once in Europe, Ripley's talent for evil leads him to commit two murders and assume the identity of one of his victims.
sounds interesting! adding this onto my list (: thank you so much for sharing!!
Not sure if you're interested in a teen version of SVU, but I really enjoyed the Naturals book series
i will def look into it (: thank you!!
Good morning Angelina happy Friday and I just wanted to say that I enjoyed your channel because you are sweetheart and you are amazing Supporter I'm proud of you gurl and you are gorgeous
Hi there ☺️ thank you for the sweet comment!!
@@AngelinaKhang hi how are you ☺ of course sending you hugs and you are sweetheart and I enjoy your channel because you are sweetheart and you are amazing
Oh girl if you liked a girls guide to murder you have to read the next two in the trilogy because oh my goodness both were so good! Also if you want to not buy them go to your local library because they have all the books and even if they don’t have the specific book you want they can get it from a different library!
Wait really?! I feel like it might drag on but okay I will listen to you and read it! (: I was to continue purchasing books so I build my own book collection, sounds lame but I like the idea of it ☺️
@@AngelinaKhang oh yeah most definitely I already have a collection of books and need to read those first 😂
Hi I’m new here! I love that “SUPER SENIOR “ good luck with the rest of your semester!
Thank you!!
This is a video I def need
💗
Hi angelena ! A book i recommend if you are having a selfcare type of mood is the book " you are a badass" by Jen sincero , i promisd you its the best its a self help book wich basically makes you pause from your life and see the way the author makes you see the world in its best way , its also quite humorouse here and there 😉
Hi! I read that book last year. That was my first self help book. It was good, highly recommend to others (:
Been sick for past week. 😷 catching up on your videos ❤️❤️
Oh no! Get well soon 🥺
Every Single Secret by Emily Carpenter is one of my fav thriller books!!!
*adding book to my list* thank you (:
Congrats on 100k ❤❤❤❤ I knew you will made it till here and go more further this does not stop here .
🎉 thank youuu !!!!
The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides is such a great thriller! I literally read it in a day.
Currently on my list of books I need to read ☺️
My favorite book is called: A Room Called Earth!!
Can’t wait to check it out (:
Verity is a great suspenseful Colleen Hoover book. Definitely enjoyed Verity more than It Ends With Us. I couldn’t put it down and finished it in 24 hours
Ahhh, this inspired me so much to be productive. Also, what app do you use to write down your to-do list on your iPad.
thank you! the app is goodnotes (: heads up, you do have to purchase it ($8)
BOOK RECOMMENDATION: Stay awake by Megan Goldin! its about a girl that when she falls a sleep she forgets everything, to the point where she is running away from a crime she does not remember comiting
The whole video I was waiting for the books name to come up and I thought of that one specific book the whole time because it is my all-time favourite and is also a crime book. And when you held up a good girls guide to murder I was so shocked bc that was the book I was thinking about and I couldn’t put it down either .
Also the sequel is good too already read it but I read a spoiler for the 3rd one and I have it but I don’t want the spoiler to happen :///
LOL one of the many books that made me realize that reading is actually fun 🤩 I’m a true crime/thriller kind of girl and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series!!
Hello, I'm a freshman in college and also going for business administration. I would love to recommend this book called "The Butterfly Garden" by Dot Hutchison. I love this book so much and its just so crazy. I'm new to your channel but love your energy and video aesthetic.
Yay! Happy to know another business admin major ☺️ currently adding that book onto my list!
Also, I need a planner, which planner are you using? I’m a communications major
The planner is from shop lavendaire 🤍
I love detective book lol 😂

Midnight bayou by Nora Roberts

Since you like thrillers and suspension read any book by Lisa Gardner her books are 😩🥰
we have the same ipad case!! love the vid!
Thank you ❤️
In chapter 5 right now of It Ends With Us and I am really liking it! It is my first book after being too busy to read. Also read mixed opinions about it. How do you like it? (Also I am sooo in for a book club!)
i finished with the the book and i loved it! you def will have to go in with an open minded because tik tok/social media always tend to spoil everything lol but i rated the book 4.5/5!
@@AngelinaKhang I have to say I have some critique about it, like why didn’t Atlas and Lily have contact with eachother before the epilogue? Other than that I still loved it, also give it a 4.5!
New Subscriber here! I'm not a college student but I really enjoy your videos 😊
I'm a huge reader and I've been on a thriller binge lately.
One author I HIGHLY recommend is Natasha Preston. Her chapters are short but they keep you intrested. Some of them took me a couple chapters but once the book really gets going its hard to put down!
Another book that I recently read is called "The Cottage" By Lisa Stone
I'm currently reading "One of us is lying" By Karen M. McMannus and I find it hard to put down sometimes, so I highly recommend it as well.
Thank you for sharing! I can't wait to start reading more books soon. Someone else recommended "one of us is lying", I just added that to my list!
@@AngelinaKhang I finished it a couple of nights ago and it was really good. Keeps you on you guessing the whole time.
@@misscatgoddess7997 ahh I’m so excited to read it soon!!

one of my fav books that i read in january
@@AngelinaKhang literally read that in jan too. You should try reading her other books I recently read November 9. It really blew me away. I am currently reading Verity by Colleen Hoover.

Where did you get your planner?
it's from shop lavendaire (:
Ugh girl my teachers haven’t uploaded anything for this semester onto canvas and it gives me anxiety because the semester starts on Wednesday and I like to prepare before hand😩
oh no! i literally stressed out so much but luckily my last class popped up on the first day of class.. hopefully you got everything situated ):
What planner do u use
I think a lot of people romanticize "It Ends with Us" when they shouldn`t.
I don't think ppl "romanticize" it in my opinion, i think the book helps to spread awareness on the topic
you might be interested in looking into discord servers to bring ur book club to life
What do you study? Can you join a studygroup online. My class has a whatsapp group where you can share info and ask for help. You should contact and work with classmates. Make friends hahaha it helps.
