Man that’s some crafty combine driving, dam dangerous work ,can’t believe people complained about the video quality, tell them to come on out and try driving the hills and fields terrain See how they do , keep on trucking man Gettner Done 🤠🇺🇸👍
I get complaints from head mounted cameras... A camera with good stabilization and wide angle helps a lot, but some still get motion sickness no matter what. I do prefer head mounts so i can see exactly whats going on. sometimes ill run dual cameras - one statiomary mount, one on my head, and overlay them both together during editing. More of a hassle but everyone is happy 😂
Maybe the sidewalls hold up more than lugged tires because of better, even ground contact? Even then at that weight, gravity, and unknown environment factors it's sketchy either way 😅
Your videos are great... no complaints here... do any farmers out that way run the original Gleaner combines? Their wheel base is different, wonder how well they would handle on these hills.
Keep the tires tight to the ground buddy! I went to diesel school with a couple guys from The Dalles, back then it was all crawlers and leaning combines. They said their community would lose at least 1 person each year to rollover.. they were cousins, one day they came in a few minutes late, looking pretty down. They had lost one of their uncles the night before.. D6 pulling a sprayer.. not much left of anything 😢
Yeah its steep there i hear and ive been thru that area. Its softer here so maybe the real steep stuff we dont farm like they do? Weve all rolled a track off a tractor a time or teo
I've noticed you run more of a turf tire rather than an Ag tire??? do they give better side hill traction over the ag tire because of more in line ribbing where as an ag tire with its angled bars are more for gripping in the line of travel ???
Usually with the header down i get the least traction. The hopes is that the slide stops. With this soft ground you tend to sink. My vector did a 150 foot slide this spring but it was hard and muddy and scary. Mountain ground though. This is dusty ashy stuff and piles up
I imagine you need all the horses you can get in these situations...stalling out could be fatal...you must dump often as you don't need tons of wheat up top.
I doubt the camera does them hills any justice. Ive watched your other videos when you get out. Thats some steeeeeeep stuff for me and im from the ozarks. We just graze hills like that. Hey question. Yall always say its soft, is it like sandy type soft??? How does it not wash out terrible from rain? I get yall dont get that much but ...
Yeah we dont get much rain. Its a sandy and ashy type soil. Super light in places and blows real easy. Yeah and it runs off down the hill and makes big ol ditches when it rains. Thanks for the comment!

I appreciate that!
I really enjoy watching your videos. You all have nerves of steel.
I am amazed that the combines don't roll over on that terrain. You need nerves of steel.
Wow...."heart in your mouth" terrain with those slick tyres. You guys have balls of steel. Best regards from the UK 👍🏻
Thanks 👍
You boys have got my respect...I just wouldn't have the balls to crawl out on those hills. I've run some steep one but not like those hills.
Magnifique moissonneuse batteuse pour les pentes 😮😊

Yeah. I got used to it. It sorta reminded Me of gaming so i didnt mind. Yeah the wider the better for sure
Thanks for the new camera mount.
Awesome video thanks for sharing
Drove combine in Oklahoma but this looks so much more challenging would love it
My sisters husband is from OK and he loves combining out here with us.
Another great, great video from Trevor. Thaaannnk you Sir.
Big bollocks up in Washington state!!👏👌😲👋
So do the diamond tires do better ? I know technically they put more contact on the ground but looks like they would have more slide potential. ...
I swear they slide worse. Im the only one withem and my machine loves sliding around

I think your on planet cereal . . 🤣🤣
Nothing but grain. . 👍👍
Keep up the great videos. . 👍
Lmfao. My girlfriend cant get over how it looks like a desert planet out here. Planet cereal is funnier tho
maybe it is more sliding because of the untypical profile on the front tires (no V-profile)
Your videos are great... no complaints here... do any farmers out that way run the original Gleaner combines? Their wheel base is different, wonder how well they would handle on these hills.
I saw one running last year all by himself. A small farmer. Long time ago they were more popular. Theyre more rare now

You guys have some major moose nuts sliding around on those slopes.
Wow!
Much better thanks

Back tires of one are aggressive ag tires. Im not sure. I think paddle tires would do well
Trevor, if you do get into a dangerous slide, can you drop the header tight against the ground to stop the slide-?
Usually with the header down i get the least traction. The hopes is that the slide stops. With this soft ground you tend to sink. My vector did a 150 foot slide this spring but it was hard and muddy and scary. Mountain ground though. This is dusty ashy stuff and piles up
Where are you cutting wheat at. Wheat ground here is flat in Oklahoma.
Wheat. Prescott WA. Walla walla County
on a sailboat we would call that "heeling", so what degree of heeling are you at in the combines on those side hills ?
They “heel” or crabwalk or whatever pretty significantly. Maybe 10-15 degrees when its bad
I imagine you need all the horses you can get in these situations...stalling out could be fatal...you must dump often as you don't need tons of wheat up top.
Yeah, i dunno why we gotta carry it so high up, but getting empty helps
Where is this at and what are you harvesting?
Wheat. Prescott WA. Walla walla County
Bet that makes your tail grab some seat
Looks like Washington or Montana.
SE washington

East of prescott this week, then were moving up to waitsburg and dayton after.
Hello Trevor where IS the country. I am french boy thank you
We are in south eastern washington state. The towns of prescott and dayton
How big are those fields?
That one was 2500 acres or so. The bigest one by far. Average is like 300 for most of them
Where is this filmed? We're debating - gotta know
Prescott washington. West a few miles from there.
The people complaining have never run a machine on rough ground.
Is it 40 bushel wheat just wondering
55 os the number ive heard
I see nothing wrong with your video quality!
How many tons of wheat for hectare have you made?
Its 55 bushels to the acre on average this year in prescott washington for us.
Hello Trevor 😬😥👍🇮🇹
Hello 👋
Who cut down all of the trees.
This was grassland since forever. Except by the river there is no trees that humans didnt plant
Where eagles dare!!

Will combines do not ride like a automobile
Wow!
