- In this video, we tell you everything about the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 which has received performance and feature updates in its MY2024. Interestingly, it has also become quite affordable at a starting price of Rs 2.99 lacs despite new updates. Its top-end variant Recon, costing Rs 3.99 lacs, is now faster by 0.3 seconds as it sprints to 100kmph from zero in about 7.7 seconds. The top speed too has gone up a little bit at 155kmph. The range of the vehicle is now claimed at 323 as per IDC.

I'll explain the battery degradation thing - battery degradation depends on charge-discharge cycles. As the battery is much bigger, the number of charge-discharge cycles per 100000km is much much lesser. Also, deep discharge reduces the life further, so smaller batteries are more prone to be deeply discharged on daily basis. It's not possible to do 200km everyday I feel

My F77 gives me a mileage of 220-250 km per charge. If I touch 100 or do a top speed run (once or twice). I get solid 200km.
I have been riding f77 daily from past 5 months and did not face any problem.

They have about 20% battery reserve capacity, it means the actual battery pack is of 12 kWh + capacity, but the usable capacity is about 10 kWh, which is the reason why they can promise such long warranty and such low degradation.

You know optional packs are so damn expensive. A change from simple to Boost charger is 26k. This is just so expensive.

Costing is one big factor. They are, however, planning to launch an even more powerful bike F99 in Europe and some other markets. Hopefully, we too will get that.
@@ICN yeah I've heared that they are launching f99 in November but aren't they going to launch it in india also there is no brand in india who made superbike and i think that ultraviolet should understand the gap and launch a bike in that gap without thinking about the price because this will reflect our indian engineering ❤🇮🇳

Everything has batteries that come to an end. Apache rtr 160 it's been 10yrs still kicking good. Electronics so bad that even todays smart phones won't live that long...
Everything just "depends"; for example I have a 10+ year old digital camera that we left many times uncharged for more than a year, but I charged the bettery a few days ago and it turned on, still fully functional, and the battery is still holding up without any significant loss for the last couple days.
But on the other hand, I have a 2 year old cheap samsung phone that loses its charge rather quickly. Nothing is made to last nowadays; some Honda Grazia that my neighbours own has had its battery changed after 1 year, and the reasoning being that they used it regularly while it was turned off; my suspicion being that the always-on DRLs and rear lights made the battery extremely exhausted after being turned on without the scooter being started. But an old Karizma and an Apache rtr that another neighbour has still runs with no problem (of course batteries were changed after so long but the point remains).
I just hope that this EV will deliver on its promise, and reading the reviews as well as comments by others, it's quite promising compared to other electric scooters and bikes in the market today.
Depends on design and technology used. Cheaper things may have quality compromised
