Goddamn the Kaizo Ironmon Level Curve is crazy! Level 98 for the Champion's final Pokémon?! What a run and with my favorite Pokémon of all things. Sad that you couldn't get Thunderbolt on it but man, ending it with a Fissure sweep is way more satisfying.
Gotta love that Gen1 is so bork'd that even chat was struggling to remember what was correct and what wasn't. Those were some moments during the livestream lol
No. the Badge Boost re-applying only occurs when you actually recalc your stats. X Acc doesn't increase your accuracy in Gen1, it just removes the Accuracy check, so your stats don't change
@@PhazonSpear Correct. Guard Spec and X Acc do not re-apply Badge Boosts, but X Atk, Def, Special, and Speed will (I don't remember for Dire Hit EDIT: 45:12 Keiz explains it, Dire Hit does not work) Similarly Double Team/Minimize will also reapply badge boost because it raises Evasion
According to the kaizo ironmon rules, you are only allowed to catch mons who are equal or lower to your level. I know that everyone plays with their own rules, but you were actually not allowed to catch lapras at this point.
That's not correct. You are allowed to catch up to 4 levels higher than your current 'mon. I'd recommend re-reading the rules before claiming I broke any.
According to the kaizo police rules you aren't allowed to make false claims on channels others than your own. I know that everyone on the internet doesn't care for the rules of common sense, but you were not allowed to make a fool out of yourself at this point.
@@Keizaron Interesting, when I google Kaizo Ironmon rules, 1.16 seems to be the last update, were it is stated that you only are allowed to catch equal or lower. Does yellow have different rules?

These are really fun to watch! Kaizo is a heck of a challenge, and your commentary and streaming style meshes well with it :)
Cold open on Phantom of the Opera. Respect.

👋Bye Bye👋

Wow another one already. Truly blessed
Dang, the ironmon GOAT You look like Dave grohls slightly more eccentric brother, hopefully that doesn't sound insulting lol.
57 attempts? What are you, Heinz Keizetchuparon?
Congrats for real though! That's two down!
With longer hair, Keiz looks even more like Les Claypool.

Time to rename yourself Kaizoron at this rate!
Nicely done 🎉
in all fairness, nowhere in the ruleset does it say the pokeflute is banned
Keiz I remember running into you at Orlando AGDQ, what a glow-up since then, content too!! How the hell did Animorphs give you trouble??
....I played gen 1 when it came out. How did I ever miss the Elixir's being spelled wrong
BYE BYEEEEE
By using x items, do they also activate the badge boost glitch? I'm assuming no

@@TokuHer0 So in other words, the X Attack would, but the X Accuracy wouldn't.

It's fitting that the community members who display the most obsessive sharking over rulesets are also the least likely to actually read them.

Apologies are usually pretty good too.
