wow that's actually surprising coming from a stadium that's not intended for soccer. Not only is it safer, but it's also able to let fans feel more apart of the action and more alive without having to compromise safety. they're able to stand up and jump around without the fear of falling.
17500 ppl in the arena and one falls is cause for panic? If the issue was steepness why didn't more ppl fall? My guess is the old man and fluffy woman would have fallen in the lower bowl too. Balance is fleeting for the elderly and the fluffy trying to squeeze by what is an already crowded space.
The steeper it is the MORE SEATS they can pack in there. I also feel sorry for anyone who is OVER 6 feet tall. Your knees are FUQD. and the seats are so thin and PACKED SO CLOSE TOGETHER that you'd have to be 5-7"/150 lbs or less to have any REAL ROOM.
I do feel like the steepness is a little dangerous, especially if you're drinking. But I also think the alternative being to just move the seats further away from the action is a worse option. Either buy the more expensive seats on the lower level or be a little more careful up top.
Only way they could ban people from drinking, would be to check everyone's tickets every time they they bought a drink--a logistical nightmare. As for warnings, how and where? They could mention it on the website, but I doubt many people would see it. Most people likely only go to the website that sells tickets which is an outside company from Golden 1, and it's not their responsibility to mention it. I don't mean to tear down what you're saying. My point is just that there isn't an easy fix. I really only heard of problems the first couple weeks. Seems like things are fine now.
It’s not holding the railing it’s trying to leave your seat to actually get to the railing there’s barely any space to side step in front of people to get to the stairs. People are not falling on people from the steps they are falling on people from their seats
I'm right there with you. They're ridiculously steep. I was leery just walking up the steps. I literally could not look down. After maybe 5 minutes or so, I had to move to an area on a lower deck. Luckily there was first come first serve barstool seating available. If that hadn't been an available option, I would've left as well. I say this to anyone who has a fear of heights, DO NOT buy tickets in the upper tier. Fork out the cash to sit in a lower tier. You won't regret it.
Stop being stupid is the answer! It doesn’t matter what weight you are, even skinny people especially if they have vertigo can become disoriented up there. You’re slow
Me and my husband were there in November or I think October enjoyed the who but yes really though I looked around to see if someone would fall on me cause I'm handicapped and one fall would bump my chair sand I'd be dead don't want to go back I will watch online gave me the heebie geebies
They legit need seatbelts cause of how steep they are.
In Toronto (air canada centre), they have railings for the upper bowls to prevent that as much as possible.

the more seats? 17500 people LOL
I'm 6'4" and not exactly skinny either. I fit in the upper seats just fine without my knees touching.

Lokana they should make customers aware at every arena that the top deck is step, and ban anyone from drinking up there.

Lokana nah ur exactly right, I would just have them put posters and shit like that around the arena
Lokana I bought panic at the disco ticket front row of upper deck
Been to the new arena about 3 times and sat at upper deck. Nothing wrong. Hold on to the rails when coming down.
Danny California How is it up there can you even see whats going on?

I saw tears for fears their and ended up leaving. Those seats are scary. Very very steep. Was getting anxiety sitting their so we left

I start feeling like I can’t walk...lol my legs lock and then I finally feel some relief once I’ve made it to my seat.
lose weight is the answer! them seats are for normal weight and size people IMO
I'm 6'4" and over 300 lbs. I fit in all the seats fine.

I agree with them 100%
I see lawsuit coming
Ive been here twice the uperdeck seems fine and safe
Aiden Can you even see whats going on, on the court when up there?
And this is why I get lower it floor
Doesn't look any steeper than the normal upper section of an arena...
Well..spend a couple 100mil reorganizing seats which means reducing the amount of seats to install safety railings
theres nothing they can do about it now. you want the kings to tear down every part of the NEW arena to rebuild the seats less steep!?
Well, they can renovate to add safeguards...
This seems fun
It just sounds like a coincidence they both feel.
1st world probs

Buy lower seats the upper tickets are trash 20$ tickets
Chase Center is the best arena
it's an obesity problem not an architecture problem
And your comment is a stupidity problem
I'm a regular sized girl and I had a problem finding my way to the seat at a recent show. Had no idea it would be that steep. But it is what it is.
Old people shouldn’t be allowed that high up. If they get hurt, that’s on them. Also, alcohol? If your drunk then… lmfao
Thats what happens when u cheap and get nosebleeds....ol drunkass man gonna fall in your lap.
Not everyone can EXPERIENCE front row seats
I'm curious, are there a lot of obese people in Sacramento?
Pretty much. Every corner and store I see a fat person
If you think thats steep, visit assembly hall in Bloomington..
nah cuz for real tho its so damn steep they gotta do sum about it
