@@PettheW not sure if this game will have CBT Game was supposed to release this year without CBT but got delayed I think they delayed to add in those character live illustration during the gameplay personally to hide the chibi arts out to certain degreee personally But regardless, long as they get the gameplay of the slay the spire right, I think it should be fun game
I expect something like reverse 1999 It shouldn’t be too bad to aim for single copy of characters, but there will be rooms for whales to spend to upgrade characters with dupes At the end, this is single player only game (according to the leaks) so shouldn’t be stressful as epic seven terms of missing characters
@@inFAMOUSJakey they never use the Hoyo style over the top OP dupe system though. So I think single copy will do fine too as long as they stay themselves. And E7 now a day was not really that stressful when missed a character unless you aim for top 200 or the Episode boss.
Tons of limited banner characters and artifact along with the ML 5 star that takes long time to have rerun is big gatekeeping There is a reason why game stills good money after years from my perspective This game will be single player game and they would know that power creeping won’t sell as well unlike in PvP games so they will probably focus more into more interesting kit and story elements like hoyo game approach and make meaningful dupe I mean even in epic seven around a year ago, they tried to push and make dupes more stronger with their new system until they cancelled it due to outrage from players, it is still on table to them and their new game will 100% use that idea from the release

I kinda disagree about the 2D game bit needing to be cheaper, I mean I understand it. But it fit perfectly this type of game imo. I do play a lot of slay the spire and the like, i'd hate to have it in 3D ( actually I played one that was like that was okay but slighly off putting at times ). I know that it's still a gacha at the end of the day. Overall I'm very hype about it. Now I'll have two main games E7 and E8 i mean Chaos Zero Nightmare Great video overall cheers !
Exactly what all I said But like it or not they have set the standard and high bar and game companies will have to try their best to appeal their new game in one way or the others and I think graphic and representation needs to be the key Personally I think gacha system in hoyo games are far beyond their quality, but they justify it by offering content and people pay for it so it’s working for them Any 2d games in 2025 and forward will have to compete against their quality I may be bit biased since I enjoyed e7, but if they ask me to spend the same amount of money for 2d characters with less freedom as something like Hoyo games, I would feel like bit annoyed for sure
He is Kayron indeed, maybe not the same character but he is the same character we know about from e7, same style power as well as same voice actors for both kr and jp and previous leak for the game also had tenebria appearing as well, chaos clan does gets mentioned in the gameplay video, and chaos gate is probably what they explore in this game and thats why game is called chaos zero nightmare most likely basically game's lore is indeed connected to e7, but they changed too much story elements in e7 compare to og story line they had as well as dark fantasy setting so probably not going to see real connection here at the end

they always wait for about a year or so before they implement heavy pvp elements, I didn't play e7 at lunch and i might be wrong but arena was not on lunch and I def know rta was added at least a year later and Outerplane has had just limited rta I don't play it anymore so I'm not sure if finally has been implemented, but anyways, you just need to wait but they will have pvp for sure

Yeah I think it's mainly the gameplay that grabbed my attention. So we will see how good they copied slay the spire
