I love this film so much, it's so sad and amazing. It adds humanity to Godzilla(or rather, his son) And it makes him and Mothra friends rather than enemies like they usually are. It's just... sweet. It's heartfelt. I so wish that toho would make a movie like this. It would be so awesome to see a movie where Godzilla and Mothra have the dynamic they had in this film.
I saw this stop motion a few years ago and really liked it, so I recently watched it again and to be honest, I enjoyed it even more. The story, the characters, the music, everything is very well taken care of and I greatly admire the passion and affection with which it was made. I definitely recommend it to any Godzilla fan.
On watching this again I gotta say this the most cinematic, well edited Godzilla fan film I’ve ever seen. You were able to tell a story without any dialogue, and many scenes actually had emotional depth, like when Godzilla burned Mothra’s dead family, and the music and sound design always fit perfectly. Not to mention the superb stop motion, you should be really proud of this.
Godzilla destroyed koras dead family because they were being used as larva nesting grounds. So to stop strangers taking over the world he destroyed the nest to protect the world.
omg I LOVED this stop motion film. The stop motion is really well done! And the story...OH MY GOSH so good! You can see so much personality on godzilla/godzilla junior, like with the trauma thing. And you can see the difference between father and son on this. The father is a more violente and aggressive creature, a monster! The son is a protector of the other monsters and basically of this world! And the mothra story is very sad(oh I almost cried on that scene where mothra and the other mothra larva are dead). And all the movie is a bit dark, mysterious and a bit depressive, but I love it! Very nice work!
Dude, I love this fan made film!!! At first, the title had thrown me off, but after watching this, it was not your typical Godzilla film. It was less on the super battles and more on the human emotional side of the story between the monsters. Especially with Godzilla, portraying as paternal parent, and older sibling , as well as peacemaker between monsters. And , you definitely picked the right variety of music for the whole film!! In which, it was given more of a very emotional side to the story!!! Okay, basically I must confess your move nearly brought me to tears, it was sad but beautifully made!!! Awesome Sir!!!
The humor in that scene was completely unintentional. What I was trying to do was a Dempsy Roll but with Godzilla's tail. However, the execution is far from :P. So I understand why it comes off as funny.

Love the detail in mothras crawl and the different jp sounds, the animation was beautiful and the story was strong, kinda was sad but that’s it for compliance. You did amazing😁
Beutifull. The tension is high, and so is the suspense. This is a fan film that actually made me feel fear. And the stop motion itself is smooth. Deserved an actual numbered spot on kaijuzilla's contest. Not an honorable mention.
Kinda like how you hint towards the fact that this is Godzilla Jr., since he's eating plants in one scene like he did in the films, as well as that little flashback scene as an extra hint as well. That, or they're just radioactive plants and I'm thinking too much. Also like the fact that he doesn't like to fight, he's just more of a peacekeeper and makes sure the other Kaiju don't go out of control.
absolutely amazing! by far the best stop motion I've seen so far, good editing and i can tell a lot of heart was put into it, good story. if this was a movie i would watch it 10/10

This was amazing! Damn was that intense. The whole pacing and tone was really great! PS: The Stranger reminds me of Galactron from Ultraman Orb, just in darker colors.
I really have a liking for the way you do movements, obviously it can't feel "right" like real people in suits, but you still manage to make them look like more than figures. It's really cool and well done! You seem to have a great grasp on how things should move! And dang..poor baby Mothra ;-;

Fantastic, man! The story is so stuning and great, and love how you name some of the figures. And I have to say this: The "Chestburster-thing" is a kraata from "Bionicle", love it.
Glad I finally got around to watching this, after a couple months in my watch later 😂 But! You did a solid job telling a story without any dialogue. And your set design, while simple, really did the job. You had an excellent soundtrack selection and everything in this short film was just awesome. My favorite aspect about the Stranger is just the ability to shapeshift, to me that’s rad and pretty original for a Godzilla foe. I’m really looking forward to what you can do, and what other ideas you have in the future! 🤙
Thanks for your feedback, better late then never I say. Originally, she was going to have illusionary powers. But that got changed during filming as the method I came up with would of been difficult to show without explainination. So in the end it became shape shifting instead, and for the better.
SUPERTOHOREMIX The special effects were really cool too and blended in well with the footage itself - it’s really smooth as an animation as well, which is another plus 😊 My favourite part would have to be the events leading up to the final battle - the scene with the parasite is superbly chilling, and was executed excellently!
The animation was really good, and the story it told was very original for a fan film. Also you matched what was going on with the music and sounds very nicely. Tho I suggest using a remote camera, became some of the shots looked a little bit shaky. Other than that great job with it!!! Im also working on a fully stop motion Godzilla fan film for my channel so I can understand and see how much work you put into this :)

Their parents died in a horribly tragic event. Jr and the Little Mothra Larva are now friends (Or should I say 'more than friends') in this story. **my imaginations** The lore to "Godzilla: King of The Monsters (2019)".
in this case, Junior took her in and became a surrogate father. Because of spending time with humans he gained an empathy his father would never comprehend. And being an orphan himself.
When I first saw the Stranger, when it attacked Mothra, for some reason I thought it was the other monster, who's name I cannot remember, from Luis Duran's Godzilla: Rise for Destruction.

Nice to see this finally completed. I was rather entertained throughout. The animation was awesome, especially during the fights, like wow with those camera movements! Story was simple and effective too. You certainly captured how the Japanese Godzilla films are in feel and presentation. The pacing, for the most part, is great. Some of the shots where nothing is happening go on for a tad too long before things move again. Other than that is was well paced. The ending also felt a little rushed but I get why that was. I enjoyed this overall. Solid stuff mate.

What helped (Ironically) was Godzilla's limited movement. Made it easier to animate his legs.
Holy balls this is great, love the stop motion very clean and fluent.

This is the first time I’ve seen the first SHMA Godzilla for stop motions in 3-4 years
It was ideal as its a stable figure, compared to rebirth.

The pacing, for the most part, is great. Some of the shots where nothing is happening go on for a tad too long before things move again. Other than that is was well paced. The ending also felt a little rushed but I get why that was.
I enjoyed this overall. Solid stuff mate.

I will look into less filler next time for sure, unless there's a stand off scene or if I need to to stretch it out of nesscity. Taking that on board.
