I think God already knew what was going to happen but, he’s always with us every step of the way, to comfort us. You have so many talents and gifts to offer others that will lead you to so much happiness. Your story is inspiring.
Slayer just did their final tour but actual talent never appeals to people like you. It's okay. We have their songs recorded so we can listen to reign in blood whenever we want. If it wasn't for them though we never would have had such beautiful and originally inspired art as what they painstakingly made and sacrificed themselves for.
Cracks me up that invariably, it's always some photogenic individual (usually an attractive blonde female) that's featured in these vids, "inspiring" the audience with how they overcame some "hardship" in privileged fields/social circumstances that most people on the planet just cannot relate to. It's easy to overcome "obstacles" when you're physically attractive (esp. if female), and have a massive social support network behind you. Try being on the short, physically ugly and poor side of the spectrum and see how wonderful and "life affirming" constant rejection and failure is. In fact, I DARE this "Hope Works" group to feature someone who isn't good-looking, wealthy or well-connected to address their audience about the nature of suffering. I can virtually guarantee that they wouldn't have the character to put someone like me up there to describe his experiences.
Zane Le' Geire I’m sorry if you are going through a hard part of life but she is simply sharing her testimony in how she felt and drew closer to God. That’s the whole message and that all there is to it. It shouldn’t matter if she was privileged or not because she only there to simply testify of God. All we can do is learn from her experience and if we don’t see any value in what she shared, that’s fine too. Just don’t be caught up in the extra things when they mean so little.
Hope Works is for people who have overcome great adversity. It has nothing to do with physical attributes. A victim mentality will never get you on that stage or anywhere else for that matter. Comparing ourselves to others we always fall short. ♥️
