Enjoying the reactions. My favorite of theirs is "Adabana", so I'll be throwing my vote in for that one next. Mayu - vocal Saki - Guitar (Endorsed by "Killer" guitar brand) Hazuki - Guitar (Endorsed currently by Ibanez guitars, formerly by ESP) Haraguchi - Bass Tamu- Drums
Magical band! And like all the great bands in history, they are better live. They play whatever genre they wanna play and nailed it 🔥 Lovin’ Nemophila 🔥🤘❤️🇫🇮
Great reaction. They are called Nem-o-phila. (No finding Neemo) and are named after a blue and white native north American flower. The five petals representing each member of the band. It grows in massive numbers at the Hitachi Seaside Park in Japan and thousands of people visit this spectacular display in around May each year. The band was set up as just a short concert event band for the lead singer Mayu (Possibly one of the most talented singers in metal because she can sing any genre). However after doing the few concerts they had planned the ladies felt such a close friendship and relationship that they decided to form Nemophila, despite members still doing other projects. All five ladies are 5 star highly talented. The drummer Tamu Murata was the most sought after session drummer in Japan and the lead guitarist generally on right of stage and in your right speaker is Saki. She is a highly regarded shredder and was the most famous at the time still playing in the (now retired) band Marys Blood. The other ladies Hazuki on guitar and Haraguchi san on bass were the quiet achievers but have since shone in the limelight as superstars. The band started and then COVID hit shortly after. The band put out covers for their new fans every Friday (Nemophila Friday's) to keep busy and keep people sane in lockdown. This made their fan base very loyal to these ladies in harsh times. Now the parts that makes them stand out. First, they created magic as these extremely talented musicians clicked so well together. Second, they found a young genius record producer and songwriter called Kensuke Akiyama who writes and produces for them as well as mentors the members to write their own songs. This has been a big key to their success as all 3 of their albums don't have a bad song on them. Third and also important is they do what Japanese do and mix genres in songs BUT they do it so very well. You will really be pleased checking out the variety of sounds. Lastly you will never be any good unless you can do your business live and these ladies are killer live. A "must see in your lifetime" band. There are so many great Japanese musicians and bands. Someone said metal/rock never died, it just moved to Japan. Im sure you will get plenty of suggestions for the songs. They do it all and you will often get a nice surprise as they dont just do one style. Their Nemophila STYLE is their key to getting new fans world wide.
Welcome to the party.. @Nemophila = 5 best friends having the time of their lives.. Kickin a** and takin names. The seven strings really give them an awesome sound, you should hear their down tuned cover of Metalica's Master of puppets.. it's Hot.. There is nothing these ladies can't do, from Originals like this to covers of Iron maiden Kiss (in full make up) ACDC Journey Baby metal Linkin park System of a down Skid row and many more keep your eyes on these Ladies, they are on their way to the top in a hurry.. They released a new song yesterday AMA-TE-RAS Official Live Video.. It's Bloody awesome!!! Fun fact, the drummer "Tamu" and singer "Mayu" are both "Rockin Mom's" with children under 5.. And yes they are Japanese.. Best wishes from France
@@highlyreactivereactions- just want to add that AMA-TE-RAS is the legendary Japanese sun goddess. And if you follow the lyrics closely, Nemophila are declaring their purpose to be the sunshine of metal. Hazuki wrote it after listening to Bloodywood from India, so one of the influences especially at the beginning, is India. A delightful song BTW.
Just another of the insanely talented female bands in Japan!!!! They are all battle tested and came together from other bands. Saki on guitar came from Mary's Blood and Destrose 2 of the great bands that followed Show-Ya onto the all-female scene. Saki is a legend who has tried to bring more female talent to the forefront in Japan. Japan is where Rock, Metal and Jazz have gone to flourish!!!!!
Awesome. Check out Nemophila's live videos as well! Band Maid is another essential listening Japanese band - I recommend their instrumental "From Now On".
Nemophila were founded in 2019. They are a supergroup composed of: ex-Mary's Blood guitarist Saki ex-Lipstick vocalist Mayu ex-Disqualia guitarist Hazuki (also plays with Lisa-X) ex-Hölderlins bassist Haraguchi-san, and ex-Soramimi drummer Murata Tamu This is one of the bands to watch, no question. They just started in 2019 and are blowing up fast. As you can see from the gang vocals, they don't take themselves too seriously-Hazuki even winks. They almost seem to be enjoying a private joke, that goes "Hi, we're a bunch of cute, fun girls and we are going to rip your face off, and you are going to like it.” Initially, they were just a side project, co-organized by Mayu with some help from Saki, largely to keep busy in the early days of the pandemic. They started by posting metal covers of well-known rock, pop and metal songs. Then they began posting originals, starting with “Oiran” ruclips.net/video/eyb2NtPwcxc/видео.html The viral reaction seems to have convinced them they were onto something potentially big, so they’ve been putting a lot more work into it, including some successful live-streams and an appearance at the annual Japanese female rock festival NAONのYAON. They tend toward hard and heavy, but also do ballads and some pop covers. Drummer Murata Tamu took time off to give birth to her son, and on her return, the rest of the bandmembers gave her a welcome back that resulted in an extremely moving moment captured on live stream: “Life” ruclips.net/video/HFnEYhbEAqg/видео.html After Oiran, others to check include "Dissension", which will fry whatever is left of your circuits: ruclips.net/video/26aMuahxz8c/видео.html and “Raitei”, which means “Thunder” in Japanese, and yes, they bring the thunder: ruclips.net/video/lh-dVLKP314/видео.html More recent drops that showcase their intensity and versatility: “Adabana” ruclips.net/video/AxYiOwsu6wU/видео.html “Style” ruclips.net/video/Aph5GON6rPc/видео.html (written by their bassist, Haraguchi-san) “Seize the Fate” ruclips.net/video/4tpgLyckVYg/видео.html “Rise” ruclips.net/video/rD3VMAm-9iA/видео.html Saki is the only one who had been with a breakout band before (Mary’s Blood); Hazuki and Murata-tamu are also considered elite musicians and have worked with a lot of other top artists. They've just released a new album in the last couple of days. For ultimate screaming try Zen it's quite good and popular. Believe it or not that orange screaming thing has a baby and the drummer has two!. Rise is probably my favourite song but Change the world is a real toe tapper. They are renowned for doing covers with film clips to go with them and you would not believe the number of views some of them get. Lovebites and SHIMI are my favourite covers but I like most of them . They have some ballads as well and just released a really good one Odyssey . I assume you have discovered BAND-MAID who are just rock not metal or even hard rock but are many of us believe the best rock band in the world. They just performed at Yokohama and did 33 songs and were on stage for 3 and a half hours. I won't go on because you probably know them. Keep thrashing the NEMOPHILA and have you done the Korean band Rolling Quartz? They are certainly worth a look.
My favorite band on the planet: mad chops, incredible versatility (from metalcore bangers to perfect power ballads), and a magical chemistry that they are amazingly capable of transmitting to an audience. As others have mentioned, they are _incredible_ live. I've seen them more than once, and each time left with that "in the presence of greatness" vibe.
The members of nemophila are musicians from different bands. They are all excellent musicians. And nemophila is a very unique and diverse band, with various genres of music appearing in their catalog. They just released their third album yesterday and I recommend 《ama-te-ras》 as the next!🤘🏻🌸🤘🏻

Ah, ok. Two more unsuspecting reactors who have unwittingly bitten off more than they can chew. Welcome to Nemophila, gents. Practise saying "I wasn't expecting that!" Then there is the flip side of the Nemophila coin: check out the music video for 'Odyssey' which is *radically* different from this!
Don't forget "Life", which will bring tears to your eyes when you know the backstory. Tamu Murata, the drummer, was on maternity leave.
