I hope you guys dominate on that new catalyst! Godspeed gentleman!
I covered all of my venting with Outerwears screen.. It's so fine it won't let water through .
Good video.
I’m north of the twin cities about 20 miles and we can’t even ride on the lakes yet 😢
Is the setup, spring rates shocks etc. quite a bit different than the procross setup ?
All of the spring rates are similar, it was more of the rear shock height is what we tried a few different options of, with the 137 the weight transfer point is different than the 129s. So that was the biggest difference for us.
Does it slam corners as good as the old zr 440?
Oh it's hard for any other sled to hit corners as good as the old ZR!
How much was the tool to get the bottom belt drive sprocket off?
0644-481 Brake Nut Socket $84
What is your top speed on the new Cat
106 so far.
Must of done some work to it to hit 106 mph cuz mines only got a muffler done that I’ve changed only hit 90mph
So if your are just going to ride it across the Lake my 2006 Yamaha Attack will eat it for lunch ..
Yes. Our sidewinder would eat both for lunch across lake. But that's not what we race, this is 600 stock class racing.
@@410notch that's kinf of funny because with 10" wide Simmons Skis and 1.5" wider A-Arms I have been as fast in the woods as anyone else I have run across. Ironically if I read the Rules Correctly I can race it in the 600 class.. Seems crazy .
@@GunnerArlo56 If I have read the Rules correctly they do allow my 998 CC Attack to compete in your 600 class. I read the rules like two years ago.
I would like to start racing in the former USSXC I guess now Core Power Sports Cross Country series.
I don't think I could do worse than 3rd place in my class because I am 62-63 years old.
I know there is a lot to set up. I also have a 2014 Skidoo Renegade 800 .. I know it has to be a 600 CC two stroke and the regular Skidoos bend too easily anyway.
I guess I should be looking for a used 600 CC race sled. My Skidoo has 1,400 miles on it my 2006 Attack has just over 3,000 miles with a Broken Skid. I have a Team Fast Diamond Air Suspension to install which would then make the Attack a Modified sled and disqualify it. I live in SW MI and we have not gotten much snow in the last few years. My goal is to at least ride a week in the UP this Winter and attend at least one of your Cross Country races.. To me the Cross Country races would be more fun than the Lake races are.
No Offense to you , but I still prefer Skidoo with Direct Injection and the 4 roller Clutch ect. They do have the one model that is beefed up for X-Country racing..
My 2014 Skidoo is a major pain to take body panels off. Supposedly Skidoo addressed that just like the new Catalyst is much improved in that Category.
@@GunnerArlo56 Is there even a class for the Sidewinder Turbo? Is 600 CC's the max engine size for the Soo-I-500 now ?
No class for the sw turbo, yes for the soo, 600 cc 2 stroke and a 1049 cc 4 smoke.
Someone will correct me if I'm wrong..
