- Ron Escheté Trio with Todd Johnson on 6-string electric bass and Paul Humphrey on drums at Musicians Institute in 1994. The last tune from an 80-minute concert, Sandu written by Clifford Brown.
This is why I used Ron on so many of my recordings and live dates. Mort Weiss
Dear friend, you are the reason I switched 25 years ago from 6 to 7 string .god bless you!
The chord melody intro was amazing!
One most under rated virtuosos in the world!
Wild chord melody work before solo,
Mr Eschete, you are a great Master, and a big Inspiration! I am Learning a Lot from you. Thanks !
Hey Ron, I saw you play solo guitar in a small music store in Alhambra, California once (circa 1993-94); I bought your small intro book on jazz phrases (pink colored) that day which you signed for me. I have always been fond of your playing ever since that day and am so glad I found you on RUclips after all these years-JoBerto eM
Wow! Always loved Ron's playing!
Fabulous !!
Beautiful Ron. Among other things, I love it when the bass player plays a guitar solo and you play bass. Can't say I've ever seen that before. Looking forward to seeing you with Mark and the others in a couple weeks.
Cat has a nice sound....added this to my play list.
This tune is the last of the 1994 MI concert, which is my main driving my car cd, great tunes and flow, worth the time, it always gets me there,

Dig Ron and I on you tube. Mort Weiss
Better than Wes.
You can not compare. Mr, Escheté is great but Wes is from outer space, one of a kind.
Kar-dude.. Love Ron, but No One has cut Wes Yet.... not even Geo. Benson, whose Idol is Wes.
