You really put it through the paces,It nice to see it work in real time ,in the ventrac video's that the company makes everything is controlled, and you show it like it is and it's good to see the wheels spin or you get stuck and then get out ,Thats real life You've have shown so much more in your video's ,Thank you .
That Ventrac is a mighty machine! I wondered what the pain was in my hands, then I realised I was holding my iPad too tight as I was riding that machine with you on the slopes 😀
I really enjoy the commentary that you guys put on your videos. It is both informative and entertaining. Much better than the music backgrounds that so many channels use, which gets annoying very quickly. Keep up the good work! God bless!

I want a Ventrac for myself. I really love the video clips from the drivers seat as it feels like I am there. Keep the videos just as they are.
I appreciate the videos you do now. Would not think about skipping forward or clicking off (Unless you started painting the house or something). I think the added content for a fee is a great idea. I would not be contributing but I do see the value. Keep doing what your doing and anything else is just a bonus.
Great job Tim. I really thought you were in trouble on that power pole on that bank. You just chopped that big sapling right dow in the woods. That's a nice machine. That cheeseburger offer sounded pretty good. Christy knows there are some great cheeseburger places in NC Great filming and editing Christy. Thank you for your time and effort producing the videos. Especially the Bible verses at the end. Y'all take care and God bless.
Hi Tim & crew... Have enjoyed your videos and have picked up a lot of tips from the different projects you have worked on ... I own a larger tractor, a New Holland Boomer 45, with a cab. It has a tendency to get a bit colder up here in the Adirondacks, while working on the snow projects... For the smaller projects like above a use a DR Walk Behind Bush Hog, due to the unknown terrain and tight spaces.... As for paying for RUclips, that is not going to happen... That was the reason I dropped cable and just went with wifi... God Bless..Chief {NYS/ADK}
I've got one of these - you might double check your tire pressures - it's easy to over-inflate them which will cut down on your traction. Great videos!
Hi Tim, Pretty amazing what the Ventrac can do. I think what Corey needs for the first time is a track skid loader with a heavy duty bush hog for the rough wooded areas. I would have been a bit nervous, as it seemed like you were running into a lot of hidden surprises with visibility being so poor with all the brush covering up the short stumps. But watching Vinny chewing up the lighter stuff, made it seem like a hot knife through butter. On the steep slopes, the wet grass making it slippery seemed like the only real challenge. As always your videos are excellent!
Great video Tim Showing the versatility of the ventrac I am surprised how well it seems to handle hills and banks and the Tough cut mower seems to handle the brush really well when ever we clear a wooded area like what Cory had there we always cut the privet and other larger type brush down to or as close as we can get to the ground that way when people are walking and working in these areas they are not tripping over what's left because some of these areas we will keep some what maintained like take our weed eaters and cut the area once a month or 3 to 4 times during the growing season. As far as your comment about the Kawasaki in the comments of the last video I like Kawasaki engines as well that is the engine that is on most of our equipment. Have a blessed day. Keep the great videos coming you guys are awesome!!!
If I was expecting at the time to have a machine or anyone other than myself in the woods I would have cut them flush but I have learned my lesson. This area will be an orchard so eventually all of these trees will go except the pecans and walnuts.
I could have easily watched a video twice as long of that brush mower in action, especially in the woods. It's interesting to see it handle so many different things.
Tim, not to change the subject but check out the AVS forest mulcher. I think you would like it. I like this machine though. Seems more agile than a bush hog but may be to specialized like the mulcher unless there is an ongoing use for it.
Enjoyed the video, watch out for the thunderwood, nasty stuff. The attachment that you used to mow the ditch might be a better option for cutting the bank.
I'm at least 140 mi from you. We always called those "wild roses" I have tons of them on my property. I had the same decision, buy a tractor with a loader or a vinny. Tractor is paid off in 4 more years and Im looking at a vinny again. My question is how does it lube the motor when your on a 30 degree slope? I'm a quadriplegic (still have some use but Im week) and a tractor has been a God sent.
Hi there...,good question...I suppose that the engine has a second oil pan-in the main pan-whose snorkel oscillates freely .From there the pump keeps the oil in motion...something like this anyway...there is more than one solution. All the best to you....and yes,you are right...tractors are God sent.cheers,Roger
I bought a cub cadet 3 years ago because of its oil pump and filter. Because of the slope of my front yard my tractor smokes already. So apparently it's running dry for a big chunk of my front yard. My back hill is a 30 degree slope easy and goes well past that. (good thing the hill is only 18ft high or so) Only way to mow that would be that nice extending sickle bar thing. Only way to mow it is by weed wacker and I'm in a wheelchair. The weeds on it are well over 8 ft tall this year.
Corey certainly needs some equipment other than his Craftsman mower and chainsaw to maintain his property. Christy does an excellent job editing. I think the TTWT videos are wonderful.
10-15 min videos are what I prefer, the longer the video the more I tend to fast forward. Short videos I watch at normal speed. I think the longer videos for the pay members would be a good thing for those who want that option.
I would be interested in a channel membership. your videos are awesome and very educational. I especially like the family farming videos. your brother and nephew should start a spin off channel about farming. you keep your content family friendly and informative. keep up the good work my friend!
Could you please do a video on how you make a video? What does it take to do it? Software, equipment, time, etc... I can read about it, but sometimes someone who has done it can make it make a lot more sense. Thanks Tim!
The best part of these videos is all the great information you give. The second best part is it’s free! As much as I like your videos, I’m not going to pay monthly for them. (Or anyone else’s) Have you considered making a second channel, perhaps called “ttwt extra” and putting the longer “boring parts” over there as to not disrupt this great channel?
I think ‘Alex Parrish’ is the name of the lady on Quantico, right? Some of the longer stuff needs to be behind some sort of paywall so that we can avoid the “safety sally’s” and other naysayers. We’ll figure out something, or else we will continue as we are. We will NOT be taking our mainstream videos private. We love the community interaction.
Yes it is. I found it pretty funny when I binge watched it. What’s even more strange is the last name is spelt the same way, and I’m a male. Anyway, great videos and keep up the good work! I’ll leave the legalities to you
Timmy, i love love the longer videos! When im in my garage piddling around, i will stream your videos to my tv in garage, and have it just play for hours! Kinda just running in the background. Ill bet a million dollars, im not the only one. But i won't give RUclips money. RUclips is a VAST platform for info, thanks to awesome people like you, but RUclips makes plenty of money off advertisers. Can you not upload longer videos? And thank you for taking the time to take us along with you!
It is complicated Steve, but the answer is, no, uploading longer videos to our main channel is not practical. We would get 70% (I think) of the Membership revenue. Anyway, I fully understand. I probably wouldn’t pay either!!!
On my front deck zero turn I transferred all the weight possible to the drive wheels and added fluid to the tires. It could hold a slope very well. I haven't measured it
With him being on a tight budget I would recommend waiting on the Ventrac for now and getting a RK Tractor RK24H for $10,500, a RK backhoe attachment for $5,000 and any other attachment he needs. Hire someone.... ;-) to take care of the big hill in the back 3 time a year. The front hill can be done with a high powered trimmer.
We never saw even half of his property in this video. Additionally, we didn't do a deep dive on the things he wants to accomplish. That is not our focus. Advice based on the small amount of video shown is likely not 'complete'.
I am leaning more towards a compact tractor to meet my needs for the price and the attachments I would like. That being said I'll have to be very careful mowing (after grass is planted) the area shown in the video with a tractor. All the area shown in the video will be part of our orchard so I would only need to mow between the rows and use the tractor as a method of hauling fruit up the hill.
I like your videos just the way you've been doing them for length and content. But, I don't mind when a fast forward is used with music. Keep up the good work!
This is a awesome machine especially with all the attachments that can be out on it, my only complaint is that wining of the hydro drive, granted the camera might might pick that up more then in person, I'm not sure but that sound at least in the video would drive me crazy until I got use to it and zoned it out, nice vid, I like seeing the tractors doing what they're supposed to, granted like this vid, there's stumps and sliding down hills so waiting to see what it might do or not is something I feel you can watch without that checking out that you mentioned, and just an opinion it would go from job to job and what's being done, this vid had some is he going to make it up and through and there's other things that don't have that, just some insight if interested, thanks for the vid, God bless
My two cents worth about Multi-Flora-Roses. It is an invasive species. You are correct many state's conservation depts recommend them at one time. Now you can find states that have outlawed the planting of them. You can't kill them by mowing, or burning, and nearly impossible to dig them out. I found what works best is Cimarron Plus.
Kinda like many states planting the non-native brush "Scotch Broom" it took over the state of Washington and is nearly impossible to kill. You have to cut it before it buds then spray the root area with a total herbicide. They thought it would be a valuable vegetation for erosion control, instead it made for terrible allergies and invasive. It is funny though, Home Depot sells it here in Texas in 1 and 5 gallon containers and they charge 20-50 dollars for it. Makes me shake my head.
We will never learn to stop bringing that stuff into the US. The Elm and American Chestnut are excellent examples of the consequences of importing non-native plants.
Multiflora rose,YUK! I have to fight them here too. They do flower for a couple of weeks in the spring and smell very nice but they will grab you and rip you up real good.
I dropped my vote. Many of the channels I like to view are going to this new pay-to-watch and I wouldn't mind so much if the RUclips TV that I already subscribe to but do not actually use much would allow me access. As far as the Ventrac goes I was shocked at what you were pulverizing with it. I would have thought the belts would be slipping more. I kept thinking initially a Hydraulic Drive would be more useful on the cutter, but it did surprisingly well.
Tim I liked your description of the process used in editing your videos. Is it possible to do a small video on the different type of recording equipment you use for the videos and what editing software you use. It appears you have some type of Go Pro Setup maybe a Hero 5 which is what I use. I also use Sony Vegas Pro 15 for editing.
Awesome video man I just discovered your channel cause I’ve started to see more Ventrac mowers around. Where exactly in Indiana was that cause we have 100 acres around Aurora and Lawrenceburg Indiana but we are buying the property next to it and it’s one big hill. I’d like to convince my dad into buying a Ventrac just because that 72 inch deck seems nice. Right now our setup is using the dr field and brush mower it’s nice but they don’t really make that big of decks. Anyway awesome video again I love watching them on my free time. 👍
Great video. Tim, have you figured out the weight transfer yet? From what the Ventrac shows that with the duals, the weight transfer set correctly, and as long as the ground is not too wet, you shouldn't slide so much under 30 degrees.
I do not think I had enough weight transfer set. I had it on ‘2’. Ventrac rep recommended ‘4’, but I didn’t know that until I was finished with all of this mowing.
Tim I work at the county landfill where we have incredible steep hills that we mow two times a year. We have a zero tern (bobcat brand) and a specialty slope mower that is designed to mow hills of 30° or greater by using it motorcycle like chassis with a flexible deck. The main part of the machine is like a motorcycle as it only has two wheels front and back and uses a Gyro to determine how the machine should lean this allows the machine to lean from one side to the other depending upon what direction or what movement you may make while mowing the only drawback to this machine is the mowing deck is not connected to the machine directly i.e. using PTO shafts or belts it is operated that the deck is operated by hydraulic pumps and lines that run down to hydraulic motors that are rather small for our purposes where we only know twice a year but in a situation like his in orchard or around a farm where he has severe slopes one of the sophomores would be fine if you remove maybe once or twice a month they would do a great job it's very easy on fuel you can run ours for of today's on 16 gallons of gas that's running eight hours a day hope this is helpful enjoy the video keep making more Jake U
jake28061 the problem with that mower is, it is just a mower and makes paths where the tires go and a lot more expensive. Cory is talking about having a mini farm. He'll need more than just a mower.
I'm assuming that Vinny with the power rake would do better on thicker brush? Similar situation, though with Poison Ivy and Goats (they clear most the weeds, not the brown/stumps/etc)
Hi Tim it's me again, I had a thought about Corey and his hills and brush problems he should look into getting sheep or goats as both animals will be able to eat both on the hills and clean some of the brush up and at the same time he would be able to sell either meat wool or milk at his farm market depending upon how much land he has he may not have to feed the goats except for in the winter time when the grass is died off and leaves are gone from the trees we generally only go through about 100 hundred and 50 bales per winter with our 12 sheep and we only have about an acre and a half of the land that we keep them on we have it fenced off so that we can recruit rotationally raise them and if he Halter trains the sheep Young needs to buy them very young to do this but if he hawker trains the sheep to where he can take them out in his orchard where they can't get to this fruit trees will keep the orchard mowed and fertilized as long as he's got a small barn to put them in during winter months or even small shelters like you know if your sheep aren't that big you can use dog houses we use several dog houses and then we have a barn that we made out of scrap wood that we got from the dump and then rather spending so much money on Aventrad machine as a specialty mower and having to go and buy a compact tractor to do the other Auldfarm jobs that have to be done on a regular basis you can just buy the sheep the goats you need to use cows to and then you not just buying something that's going to cost you the money or buying it and then have to work on it when it breaks down you're buying something that will produce for you a product to sell even if it's just your breeding and selling the babies at market is just something to consider we have quite a bit of luck on the sheet so you can tell him if he has any questions to pop on over to my channel and I'll be happy to answer and tell him I said good luck with his new venture I hope he does very well with it Yours truly Jake .
Cory needs to make a list of characteristics a machine needs. How many times would he be using a backhoe? And what implements would best suited for his place? Sub-compact or compact tractor? 4x4 or 4x2? Loader? Tiller? Mower -flail or rotary? BUDGET? Model? Brand? HP range? Size for maneuvering? It goes on & on.
That's actually not a bad idea, a channel showing the different places they eat at around the state as they travel to and from these jobs. Isn't there a TV show like that already?
Tim, Love the channel and how you guys create the videos. I agree with many of your viewers that this pay to watch idea that you tube has is not a good thing. Maybe exclusives on a patreon account from you or maybe on your personal website would be a better way to go.
that's when you call in the forestry mulcher then you can go right through those small stumps and all that brush with ease don't get me wrong i would love to have a vinny :)
Tim, You guys put together some good, informative videos for evaluating equipment and ideas.A thought. ( I know everyone 'knows it all') You should buy you a nice pair of simple am/fm earmuff/headphones to use while running your machines . You can get 'em at WallyWorld or Tractor Supply for about $50. Bought these about 5 years ago,and wish i would have bought them 20 years ago. I can't stand to saddle up the mower without them. I know many guys say,,"I want to hear if there is a bearing going out on the deck" or some such. Keep the videos comn'!
@@TractorTimewithTim Thanks Tim, I missed this video. yep, this product is even lighter ,simpler than the earmuff/headset setup. I about cringe when i see someone mowing a big yard/acreage without having hearing protection on. B
I think the videos are just fine. But if they were longer I wouldn't mind. For the people who think there too long , they can just fast forward through. Thanks for keeping us entrained
I was on the Daytona track once years ago on a tour. They said drivers had to keep a speed over 60 to not slide down the turns. Did you consider trying that
Tim - I didn't see anything in the top-right corner to access a poll. I guess channel memberships are the next big thing. First it was Patreon and now channel memberships. It's funny you say the price is fixed because another channel I watch just implemented memberships but theirs is $4.99. I really enjoy watching your videos and find the content very informative and please don't take offense to this but there is no way I am paying a monthly fee to watch a RUclips video. I mean, $6/mo here, $5/mo there and pretty soon I have something equivalent to a monthly cable bill just to watch RUclips. I've said the same thing about satellite radio. I will NEVER pay for radio. Same with RUclips... there are literally thousands of good informative channels out there, many of which I haven't even discovered yet as there are only so many hours in the day. If the list I currently watch move to memberships I will simply move on and create a new watch list. If and when most of RUclips goes the pay route it will be time to switch over and watch content on the sites that will replace RUclips.
Well said !! I totally agree with you. It seems that the You Tube Business model is to get us to watch thinking this is great free video entertainment, but for the creators of videos, they try to incent them, and motivate them to create more viewers (and you tube promotes their videos more as view numbers increase ) then the bigger reward comes with us viewers paying through subscription fees !!! Genius ! While You Tube using there own form of Censorship by penalizing , and prohibiting words and content that they determine violates their own standards. Wonderful !! Happy to click my ass out of here..
Wow. I just asked a question, with a very specific target. Why the hostility toward me? We will not be reducing/changing our free offerings no matter what approach we use. We were just trying to find an avenue to release the longer videos (less editing) to a limited audience. Obviously, we can’t release them freely, or we’ll be flooded with rude comments about them. Anyway, I’m not sure this question deserved such a sharp response. Oh well.
That Vinny is quite a machine! I can see so many uses for him. In Corey's case, He may need both a Vinny and a Johnny. Since there are way more used tractors out there, I think economically, a new Ventrac and a used tractor are the choice. Or he could have Tim come by every couple weeks. He only has to lay in a good supply of cheeseburgers. But can he offer Christi?
I'm curious as what condition the blades are in with what you have been cutting in this and other videos of Vin track. Can you give us bit of footage of that?
Hay Tim, I've been down the road Cory has taken and have learned a thing or two. The most important thing I could tell him is to either cut the stumps down to a level he can mow over, or leave them 3 foot or so tall. If you can't see them, you can't avoid them. You can take them down with a small saw by carefully plunge cutting in at a downward angle and doing that from several points around the stump. I don't know anyone who has not got a saw stuck. It is nice to have two saws, but if you don't, keep an extra bar and chain. Just remove and leave the stuck bar and chain and put the spare on and cut the stuck one out. I've owned several saw brands in over 42 years of cutting and there is nothing like a Stihl. I swear by their full chisel chain and sharpen my chains on the saw with a Dremel. It saves time and money. Leave the burr. I've been trying to tame my 10 acres since 1976 without a tractor. I once was young, but now I think its tractor time for old Gene. Keep up the good work. I'm about 70 miles up 69 from you. I got plenty of stumps to grind if you want to come over and play, I would have my better half feed you and send you home with some good old brown eggs. God bless and keep you and yours
Mr. Lewis, I appreciate your experience and wisdom. I would have cut them flush if I knew anyone or a machine other than myself would be going into the woods at the time I felled the trees. I need to cut them off anyway so I can finish clearing and plant more fruit trees in that area. I agree a second chainsaw or even a second bar for my Echo cs 400 would be nice. I'm considering a larger saw for milling as well. Do you have any more advice for a young land owner such as myself?
If you are not heating with wood, I recommend it. It makes good use of the resource that most people just pile up and torch and it justifies the cost of new equipment. I wish I could share all the ways I have injured myself and destroyed my equipment cutting wood. Learn all you can about proper tree felling. I lost a saw due to a barber pole split and learned what that was all at the same time. Even a tree that is down can be dangerous. If it is on only a slight grade and you cut off the wrong limb, it can roll. I had a down tree roll over and swat me like a fly. Watch for widow makers. I have spent some good money on a bigshot sling shot. I can now put a rope high in a tree and pull it with my truck. Some of the dead ones come over without sawing. If I suspect a widow maker in a tree, I pull on it before I walk under it. I wish I had planted more fruit trees earlier in my life. You will learn as you go along. RUclips is a wonderful resource I wish I had when I started. I hope some of this helps you. God bless and keep you and yours.
It's me again Tim . Does the Ventrex machine have any other attachments besides mowing attachments say seeders maybe groundbreaking equipment like a tiller or a plow or Hayrake anything that someone might want to use on a small farm . Because we have @ the southern landfill in the Kent County that I work in a very similar machine to the Ventrex but I can't remember his name but it actually comes with the smaller not like the big figure of compact tractors but a smaller bucketloader attachment that you can put on it and the seat articulates when you going to steep slopes I should remember the name of the machine so you could check it out they've had pretty good luck with it it also has the new mowing deck like he was showing with the Ventrex in this video and it has the lead of reach out Long reach out mowing deck but if I'm remembering correctly that one is the best spinning blade off of a hydraulic motor rather than a sicklebar design so if you're curious about it you may want to poke around and take a look it had pretty good luck with that machine down there . Thank you Jake
Tim and the eternal Teacher of new Users to learn how it's done. Bravo Brother Tim, Bravo!
You really put it through the paces,It nice to see it work in real time ,in the ventrac video's that the company makes everything is controlled, and you show it like it is and it's good to see the wheels spin or you get stuck and then get out ,Thats real life You've have shown so much more in your video's ,Thank you .

I was so tense the dog barked I almost had the accident!
I really enjoy the commentary that you guys put on your videos. It is both informative and entertaining. Much better than the music backgrounds that so many channels use, which gets annoying very quickly. Keep up the good work! God bless!

Love the idea, but is not always easy to achieve. We do it when possible.
The Ventrac is a heck of a piece of equipment that seems to make a job much safer....Priceless!
Hope TTWT does not disappear into a PPV channel as Joe said it will be time to move on as a quarter here and a quarter there eventually adds up! Keep up the great work with your family.
I think the editing style you have now, works for your channel.
Thanks for the feedback!
I , for what it’s worth ,think you do a great job with the content of your videos
I am late to the channel and right now I am picking through the videos that look interesting. I live in a townhouse in a city and therefore I live vicariously through you. I want a Ventrac for myself. I really love the video clips from the drivers seat as it feels like I am there. Keep the videos just as they are.
Happy to have you join us, William.
Take your time. 600 episodes to see!
Wow.... that sure appears to clear just about everything in your path.🤠
Love having a local youtube channel and seeing all of the projects you guys do. Here in Greenwood so not too far from many of the projects!
Also the fact that it has dual wheels is amazing...................
I appreciate the videos you do now. Would not think about skipping forward or clicking off (Unless you started painting the house or something). I think the added content for a fee is a great idea. I would not be contributing but I do see the value. Keep doing what your doing and anything else is just a bonus.
Ha! We did have a video of painting our rental house once. Perhaps that is why it wasn’t a huge hit?? :-)
Your videos are just awesome and that Ventrac seems indestructible!
Thanks Strat! Welcome to our channel!
Great job Tim. I really thought you were in trouble on that power pole on that bank. You just chopped that big sapling right dow in the woods. That's a nice machine. Bloopers at the end of every video would be the best!!! Make us look forward to some laughs after a very informative video.
We usually try to put something funny at the end. Maybe not always a blooper, but something to cause a chuckle.

wouldn't expect this to apply to many people. ..only a few who can't get enough of our type of video.
Sounds like a nice tractor.
Another good video about the ventrac. The ventrac company think Tim is a great sale person.
I always enjoy your videos. Keep them going.
Great job Tim . I always enjoy your video.
Wow that looked fun! Another great video. Thanks.
Good video. Bobby really likes that tractor and mower.
I've got one of these - you might double check your tire pressures - it's easy to over-inflate them which will cut down on your traction. Great videos!
Congratulations on 50,000 subscribers
Thanks Logan
Hi Tim,
Pretty amazing what the Ventrac can do.
Thanks Tom. Yes, was not wanting to run over those dead / dry stubs with those tires.
Great video. What a work horse...great job.,

Understand Believe me I learned the hard way. LOL You know its like the old saying Hind sight is 20/20
I could have easily watched a video twice as long of that brush mower in action, especially in the woods. It's interesting to see it handle so many different things.
Yes, we have more of it...hence the discussion of how best to publish it.
@@TractorTimewithTim I think simply uploading extended cuts as separate videos would work well.
Tim, not to change the subject but check out the AVS forest mulcher. I think you would like it. I like this machine though. Seems more agile than a bush hog but may be to specialized like the mulcher unless there is an ongoing use for it.
The Ventrac 4500P is a beast...
Enjoyed the video, watch out for the thunderwood, nasty stuff. The attachment that you used to mow the ditch might be a better option for cutting the bank.
Good job Tim, very nice machine!
Thanks Lod. We appreciate your comments!
Hi Tim and Christy that thing is built like a Chieftain Tank Tim a great video
That is a beast of a mower!!!
10-15 min videos are what I prefer, the longer the video the more I tend to fast forward. Short videos I watch at normal speed. I think the longer videos for the pay members would be a good thing for those who want that option.
Thanks Aaron.
I would be interested in a channel membership. your videos are awesome and very educational. I especially like the family farming videos. your brother and nephew should start a spin off channel about farming. you keep your content family friendly and informative. keep up the good work my friend!
Thanks for the kind words, Anthony! We have discussed channel membership, but it seems to anger a lot of viewers.
I’ll leave the legalities to you
Thanks Alex!
The 4500 series ventrac has a K500 Loader in its arsonal of implements I believe.
Tractor time with tim would u ever come visit people in ky like below lousivile ky where the farm show is
Sure. Depends on the situation.
I agree Tim. I don't have any sense of slope angle either. I would have guessed that roadside bank was 45-degrees or more.
Tractor Time with Tim any idea on the MSRP of this Ventrac?
I do not have a solid number on that. Sorry.
@@poobank I was quoted $28K for 4500Z with power buck, extended wheels, and 72'' finish deck.
I like your videos just the way you've been doing them for length and content. But, I don't mind when a fast forward is used with music. Keep up the good work!
The tire option 21 x 11-8 Bar would be the best for him I think. Looks like it would hold better on the slopes. Keep the craftsman for the lawn.
More ‘tough cutting’ coming up in later videos. This thing is amazing.
That’s impressive 👍
That would work great in my area there’s not much flat land here lol
Tim I liked your description of the process used in editing your videos. Is it possible to do a small video on the different type of recording equipment you use for the videos and what editing software you use. It appears you have some type of Go Pro Setup maybe a Hero 5 which is what I use. I also use Sony Vegas Pro 15 for editing.
Great machine Tim 👍
Awesome video man I just discovered your channel cause I’ve started to see more Ventrac mowers around. Where exactly in Indiana was that cause we have 100 acres around Aurora and Lawrenceburg Indiana but we are buying the property next to it and it’s one big hill. I’d like to convince my dad into buying a Ventrac just because that 72 inch deck seems nice. Right now our setup is using the dr field and brush mower it’s nice but they don’t really make that big of decks. Anyway awesome video again I love watching them on my free time. 👍
Tim, Multifloral roses was the government idea? Best thing there good for is the large stumps/root wood make some of the best pipe bowl's!!
Good vid. Tim. I like that mower.
That Ventrac is so damn cool!!
I enjoy your videos keep up the great work I requested information on the ventrac tractor
Tim I work at the county landfill where we have incredible steep hills that we mow two times a year. We have a zero tern (bobcat brand) and a specialty slope mower that is designed to mow hills of 30° or greater by using it motorcycle like chassis with a flexible deck. The main part of the machine is like a motorcycle as it only has two wheels front and back and uses a Gyro to determine how the machine should lean this allows the machine to lean from one side to the other depending upon what direction or what movement you may make while mowing the only drawback to this machine is the mowing deck is not connected to the machine directly i.e. using PTO shafts or belts it is operated that the deck is operated by hydraulic pumps and lines that run down to hydraulic motors that are rather small for our purposes where we only know twice a year but in a situation like his in orchard or around a farm where he has severe slopes one of the sophomores would be fine if you remove maybe once or twice a month they would do a great job it's very easy on fuel you can run ours for of today's on 16 gallons of gas that's running eight hours a day hope this is helpful enjoy the video keep making more Jake
U
jake28061 the problem with that mower is, it is just a mower and makes paths where the tires go and a lot more expensive. Cory is talking about having a mini farm. He'll need more than just a mower.
your right. but it would cool if it had a three point hitch on the back.
My new Ventrac has a 3 point hitch on the back!
then that would make an ideal choice for some who is looking to have an orchard and vegetable farming on a small scale
that's neat mower, I surprised it slid like that
Doesn't Vintrac have a front end loader for there tractor? That thing is a beast! Keep them videos coming Tim
That toy is hungry . love the videos. What do the blades look like now that you have used them a lot
Still perfect. Will show in later video
Do they make the ag tires for these machines so one could get extra traction?
I love that ventrac
Great video keep up the work 👍👍
was interested in what your opinion is on witch is better a root grapple or brush grapple or fork grapple please let me know. thanks
This is not an easy question. I recommend two grapples, one of the each style.
Mini320 from agfolks.com (Precision Manufacturing) or artillian.com
I would ,if I could afford it, pay to watch longer content; But, I’m on social security and my money is all spoken for
Yep. Understood. Thx for the feedback.
Tim will there be anymore videos from your families farm during harvesting this year?
Shot some yesterday.
Burger Time With Tim new channel name
That's actually not a bad idea, a channel showing the different places they eat at around the state as they travel to and from these jobs. Isn't there a TV show like that already?
BTW, thanks for the cheeseburger, Corey!
@@TractorTimewithTim no problem, maybe if you're up for it and you still have the aeravator you can help seed that hill once it is cleared fully.
Tim,
Love the channel and how you guys create the videos.
Hey Barry, check out our recent video “Huh? What Did you say?.....”. Nice new product which serves this very purpose well!
@@TractorTimewithTim Thanks Tim, I missed this video. yep, this product is even lighter ,simpler than the earmuff/headset setup. I about cringe when i see someone mowing a big yard/acreage without having hearing protection on. B
Btw, I DID have earplugs in this video.
@@TractorTimewithTim Tim, Sure didn't see you had any earplugs in. It sure is less tiring with earplugs over several hours of mowing huh? Thanks.
I think the videos are just fine. But if they were longer I wouldn't mind. For the people who think there too long , they can just fast forward through. Thanks for keeping us entrained
Yous should buy a mulcher for casey as it will go through anything stumps, trees and brush
Are you going to use the ventrac in the winter
I has a low center of gravity, thats what makes it so stable on grades
EOSJOE I couldn’t agree more 😋
EOSJOE I could not agree more, very well said Money is the root of all evil..
u couldn't of said it any better. i'm just not paying extra to watch.
I've mowed that steep with my Z, but a Wright Stander is better for slopes than a standard sit down Z
I'm curious as what condition the blades are in with what you have been cutting in this and other videos of Vin track. Can you give us bit of footage of that?
Great video! What's the ballpark price for a job like this?
Test more Ventrac accessories. Grapple, FEL, etc.
I think ven trac needs a pto stump grinder while your mowing to remove or cut down stumps either make it part of the deck or separate attachment?
There is a stump grinder. Check out our ‘Volunteering with Vinny’ video.
Thank you Jake
jake28061 - check out www.ventrac.com/products/attachments They have at least 25 different attachments to do just about anything you can imagine.
I need to get one of these machines and start a business.
You need to get a Power track same thing as the Ventrac but as it’s - and +
I mow about 27 degree hill now on my X595 do you think a 1025r would hold the same slope?
Probably not as well as your x595
I may have commented previously load the tires and it will stick the slope.
