    The adhesive doesn't affect the automatic button that moves the mirror correct? Because I assume your putting the glass on the plastic part that moves with the button

    • @Engineerboy100
      @Engineerboy100  5 лет назад +1

      There is no automatic button, it is a manual mirror.

      @@Engineerboy100 oh I have a 2010 elantra and it has the button even tho mine stopped working.

      Yes if you doing this job yourself fantastic! Yes this clue will lock up your automatic mirror Just be very careful use enough to do the job on the out side of the bracket only
      And on the back use some grease while you in ther to get more and easy adjustments

      Yep, and it's still working great :)

      Clint Hightower what if you need to take off the whole mirror?

    • @Engineerboy100
      @Engineerboy100  5 лет назад

      @@MrKkdkk You just unscrew it from inside the car and take it off. there is a triangular cover in the door, just pry it off and expose the two 10mm mount screws.

    Some road rage moron punched my drivers side mirror out while driving beside my husband on a motorcycle. He broke just the glass. Do you have any tips on replacing just the glass.mirror on a 2012 chevy Malibu? Because it looks like there is only a small circle that the mirror attaches too. Not sure how to fix this

    This would have been 10x easier if you jist popped out the mirror backing plate. Glued it on. Then popped the mirror and plate back into the assembly
