- Indian border villages located on the LoC (Line of control) are some of the most untouched regions, like the village of Tyakshi and Thang, yet their sad past and reality are full of remorse memories.
Both of these villages, along with Chulungkha, Turtuk, and Chorbat Valley were a part of Pakistan before the Indo-Pak war of 1971 that took place in December.
These are some of the exclusive travel stories from the borders of Ladakh.

My ancestors basically from chulunkha India now we live in skardu Pakistan... Abbas Ali and Goba Ali Thang are my relatives they both visited Skardu Pakistan...

Very nice views! Please note, however, as per our parliament resolution, the areas beyond the LOC, i.e, Gilgit and Baltistan is de jure Indian territory! Including POK. Those lands have been illegally occupied by Pakistan and sm lands ( Shaksgam Valley) have been 'sold' to China by Paxtan! The GOI is determined to take it back. It would help if travelers and vloggers are aware of these points. Thanks and cheers
