My boyfriend at that time is singing in this video. I remember that months before this, my life revolved around his preparation for the choir competition in Europe - I usually drove him to his practice sessions and pick him up late into the night. There were times I asked him to skip them (he-he) because I was thinking I was gonna miss him (and later I would!). I have faint memories about him sending his pics in hotel rooms in Europe, but he didn't tell me about his performances there, including this one. But seeing him now in this video - and remembering his determination during practices and my constant state of being awed by him - I'm overcome with how proud I am - and happy. It reminds me how deeply I fell for him. It reminds me of how loved I was. Thanks, Isa. :)

Music is so barrier passing. I live near a sailing school and one summer there was a group of Swiss girls that sang as they walked. It was wonderful on a sunny afternoon with all my windows open. To this choir please keep singing all your lives

when the flight attendant announced the passengers they’re not allowed to record all the choir members with tacit understanding lower their volumes but still sounded so heavenly, when the announcement ended their volumes got bigger and it gave me chills! i would do anything to be in tha plane, you guys were lucky!

As someone who’s in a choir that goes on tours and does many performances- there is nothing better than the feeling of an impromptu performance. I’ll never forget being in a random restaurant (near our rehearsal location on a lunch break), hearing some of our pieces being sung, joining in, and before we knew it the restaurant was silent listening to us sing
