After finishing the European leg of the 'Deliver Us' 15th anniversary tour, I had a spot of free time to knock out another video to pay homage. This was a favorite of the whole band's to perform, and always seemed to go over well with the audience(s). We have one more festival date as well as some gigs with In Flames on the docket, and although we won't be performing DU in its entirety, having embarked on this venture has consequently prompted us to include some selections that otherwise wouldn't see the stage.
Re my previous video, my usual DH cymbals are now in my possession but also in tatters, haha; awaiting replacement pies from Zildjian, so I'm using the same setup as "Stand...".

Nailed it dude! And even while wearing a T- shirt! ❤️💯🔥🏆💥
🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
God damn. I've already commented before. I just wanted to add.. god damn. 🤯🥁
Perfect as always. Please do Tunguska next
This guy started my metal drumming years ago.
The solo from this song is one of my favorite DH solos in history..
Love the tom alignment. It makes fills open and simple. Very little waisted movement turning or reaching to cross over. Everything is ergonomic.
Left hand stays mostly left. Right hand stays mostly right.
Hell yeah, been waiting for the new album to drop!
Beast... Epic Sir!
Perfect execution 🤩
best metal drummer 😎🤘🤘
This has always been one of my favorite DH tracks! Thanks Travis for crushing it. Awesome stuff
Maaannn it's hard to have a favorite DH cover/composition from you, but that might've taken the cake! Tasty as always Travis, and thank you for shining new light into these older gems :)
This is sick! You always do an amazing job!
I feel like Mangini and yourself could team up and do an awesome presentation on Ambidextrous drumming and the benefits! You are very efficient and aren't just doing things for "show"!
Your drumming is beyond exceptional as per your usual and your drum sounds are soooo good! Dude, I'm dead serious when I say that your sound is my favorite!
Hellllllz yeah! Those drums are sounding so damn good.
You could be a distant relative to Brent Smith from Shinedown, but with super-human-like Drumming abilities. Amazing, brother!
If you see this comment, Thumbs up this video! It's amazing.
I’ve been watching your videos for many many years and somehow I only just noticed you don’t bury the kick beater very often 🤯 I have no idea how I missed that 🤦♂️
Let's zero life with the band's remakes! ❤ As if it were a musical souvenir. I'm missing Anti-Axis in this collection 😆👌🏻🤩 This one is wonderful. ❤

Impeccable as always. You have been my inspiration ever since i saw the Wizardry Mind video. Which is stil one of my favourites. Any plans on recording any new lessons? Sure hope so, your lessons have helped me a great deal!!
Cheers !
None at the moment, sorry. Cheers!
@@TravisOrbin Ah bummer, Thanks for the quick response!
Awesome job as always. Btw which is your favourite DH song Travis?
Don't have one.

I’ve always wondered why you don’t use a second kick drum since you’re constantly leading with different feet. Personally I feel like the slave pedal just lags a bit but maybe it’s my spring set up. Either way, killed it per usual.
A second bass drum would require far more room, an entire other signal chain (two mikes, pre-amp, etc.), and on top of it the tuning/pitch is a pain-in-the-ass to match. No thanks.
Also who wants to transport a second bass drum?
Your snare SLAPS ! What is it ?
6.5"x14" Reference brass
@1:55 looks like fun.
Is that some double stroke action on your left foot?
Nope.
🤘🏽🐵
Travis I'm curious why you attack the pedals with a diagonal angle instead of angling the pedals to be the same angle as your foot?
I've heard that angling the slave pedal can induce a tad of lag, so I opted to keep the drive shaft compltely straight many years ago.
@@TravisOrbin Oh I see, I will try that!
you guys doing a deliver us remaster or you just practicing?
As mentioned in the description, we embarked on several small tours throughout the year to commemorate DU's 15th anniversary.
