Lisa Gerrard’s and Marcello De Francisci’s first collaborative album effort ‘Departum’ will be officially re-released on April 28th through Gerrard Records. This album will now be available on all major music streaming services. Pre-orders will commence on April 21st.
This release includes an extended one-hour meditation bonus version of 'Sacred Journey'.
"Very soon after meeting Lisa Gerrard for the first time in my Korea Town-Los Angeles studio, she was approached to compose the soundtrack score for a film about the life of Buddha. After collaborating on multiple demos we decided to further develop this series into what would ultimately become 'Departum' in view of the film's lack of financial backing. This is a somewhat raw album from a production standpoint filled with emotional landscapes that invite the listener on a journey of self-discovery" says Marcello De Francisci.
