I first saw this match on the TNA DVD entitled, "TNA: Ultimate Matches." Even though it's kind of short, I HIGHLY recommend this DVD for EVERY TNA Wrestling fan! It's a two disc DVD with disc one featuring King Of The Mountain matches and Ultimate X matches, and disc two featuring Six Sides Of Steel, Full Metal Mayhem, and Monster's Ball.
Yep, he won Monster's Ball, then he won a #1 Contender's Gauntlet later that night, then walked out of Bound For Glory as the NWA World's Heavyweight Champion. Sure, he lost it near immediately back to Jarrett, but you can't get any better than that.
That rhino drop on jeff hardy at the end. There's no way he didn't get an injury from that. And you can see his neck turning purple. Jeez. Crazy match.

Wow I rarely comment on matches but DAMN this was an awesome match. Seeing as TNA has different titles I think they shoould add a hardcore title to the group of titles that they already have because this is what the people love to see and this is what makes people chant this is awesome. This has personally become my favorite match ive seen in all of TNA!!!
I love Jeff and i love the Swanton but that one from the stage just makes me feel sick every time i see it. We all know he has a history of hurting his knees anyways even back in The Hardy Boyz during The Attitude Era. He practically overshot this Swanton and the landing was awful. I'm surprised he could even stand at all...
Jeff Hardy has had immense problems with drug addiction that has unfortunately affected his wrestling career (multiple suspensions), resulting in his jumping back and forth between companies due to contract issues. He also took a year off at one point to work on his motorcross skills, as well as other times to heal from legitimate injuries. He returned to WWE in mid 2007 and left again in August of 2009 to return to TNA.
This is when Rhino won three matches in one night. First being the Monster's Ball, second being a Battle Royal to determine Jarrett's opponent, and the third being the NWA World Heavyweight Championship Match.
tna needs to bring in a hardcore title, considering they love throwing gimmick matches into every impact they might as well make a division for it. So they have a reason to have them. Would mean they can utilize some of the roster they aren't at the moment like Rhino, Kip, Jethrow, EY, Kyoshi etc
