Etude - Suzuki Book 1 - in performance tempo!

- See Etude played in the lower half of the bow, between the middle and the balance point, using the upper arm only. This is the easiest part of the bow for beginners. In this video the Etude is played with "beginners technique", i.e. without vibrato and other more advanced techniques, so you can focus on the basics!
If you dont have strips on your own bow it can be helpful to put some on, or use chalk to divide the bow into four even parts so that you can copy a precise bow distribution:-)
A video like this can be very helpful, but remember that it can never replace your teacher. Please always follow your teachers advice, as even within the Suzuki program, the teachers playing and instruction can vary slightly from one another and this should by no means confuse you! Always confirm with your teacher as he/she knows how to help you best!

Music makes the world more beautiful:-)
This is great. Congrats. Keep it up. Hope to hear your videos in a few years
You still playing? I’m fifteen and just started about four months ago.
How?
I’m 9 so that is so cool and play happyfarmer
I've been learning violin for 4 months and I just switched to this song. Your videos help me a lot. On other channels, it was difficult for me to understand songs played with techniques that beginners could not use, such as vibrato. Thanks to this channel, I understand them all easily. Thank you
Wonderful! So glad to be of help and keep up the good practice! You can also find all these pieces in slow practice tempo, that might help you even more:-)
Wonderful ! I’m trying but for the tempo it’s a bit tricky. In any case, watching and listening to you is a pleasure. 🙏
You can do it!! Just practice with the slow practice video (on my channel in the Playlist section under "Book 1 Slow practice"), and you will see how much easier it gets! Wishing you all the best for your practice!
Realll

Such a helpful video!! It was great for our blossoming violinist to play with- the most effective tool for practicing so far! Thank you so much! 😊
How wonderful! I am so glad it helps your blossoming violinist🌷🎻🦋 On this channel you can also find all Suzuki pieces (currently until end of book 4) in SLOW practice tempo, where she can immitate even more effectively😊 Sending warm greetings from Vienna and thank you for taking the time to comment on the video🙏
I’m just getting Suzuki book 1 and this is so helpful! 🥰
I played violin for 2 years these videos are helping
This is wonderful! This really helped me, as I'm preforming this song soon:)
I enjoyed playing along with you!:)
I am so glad to hear the video helps you! you can also find all these pieces in slow practice tempo on this channel - that is even more helpful in the beginning stages of learning a new piece! Wishing you all the best for your practice!
Thank you so much 😊
I really enjoyed this. Thanks!
Nice job 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
As a beginner I realised I always use only that part of the bow (not intentionally)
I think there are two schools, one teaches using more upper part of the bow, the other teaches more at the frog
@@nerdcartoon2544 my school teaches both
You helped me so much Thank you For every thing
You are so welcome! So glad to be of help to you! Keep up the good practice and it would be very helpful for me if you subscribed to the channel😊🙏🏻 Thank you!
very nice! do you have the etude from book 5?
Thank you for this it help a lot I’m already on minuet No. 1 and it was so helpful ❤😊
Oh dear! Then try playing along with the slow practice video - that always helps in the beginning! And remember, you need the first AND the second finger pattern in this piece, the second finger pattern is where the second finger is low, or next to the first finger. Thats the most important learning point in this piece. Otherwise, the bow does the same as in Perpetual Motion, just with more string crossings, but with slow practice, you can learn that too! Wishing you all the best for your practice with greetings from Vienna!
@@violingardenacademythank you for telling me 😊

It is so beautiful
Amazing!😄
Oh my you are so good 😊❤😊❤
Lovely❤ 😊
Agradecida 🌻
can you please tell me the notes? tysm i love all your videos!
A música é linda🥰
I like this
Why are you using only about the 3rd of the lower bow?
This is because I divide the bow in four parts for learning better bow control. The first sticker closest to the frog is around the balance point, then there is the middle of the bow, and then the 3/4 point. For each part of the bow, we use different arm/hand movements. In the lower part, we use more arm movement, whereas in the upper part we need to engage the lower arm in order to be able to draw the bow straight, or parallel to the bridge. This piece can also be played more around the middle part of the bow, but I prefer to use the lower part, just as in Perpetual Motion, to solidify a full sound with straight bow in the lower part of the bow. I hope this helps, and all the best for your practice! A tutorial is coming soon!
It’s starcardo
BRO THIS IS SO GOOD IM LEARNINGGG
noice helped me
Nice😍😍
Good 👍
i cant do part 2 i start to be faster and then im out of the rythm what do i do?
Try practicing it with the slow video, or with a metronome. It is also important to recognize which part makes you speed up - is it the string crossings, or the scales down ward? When you know, you can focus on listening to a metronome while you play.
Ótimo 🎻🎻👍 melhor música
How do you release the wrist??
Do you mean the right or the left wrist?
Me: YES I CAN FINALLY PLAY ETUDE!
*watches the video*
Oh, no I can’t.....
No need to get discouraged! Just practice slowly, and pay attention to the bow distribution and straight bowing. The left hand is not so difficult in this piece:-)
@@violingardenacademy Thank you for the encouragement!
That's that's the same feeling I had.
Yes thank you for your encouragement
I always thought this was in the red violin film. Well I was wrong lol
How much is the tempo??
Your Riley good
Hi thank you for helping me please answer and say something😊😊
You are so welcome! I am so glad that the videos help your practice and learning! How long have you been learning the violin?
@@violingardenacademy I have been learning violin for 11 months
Please do a slow variation
@@bubblegum5288 You can find it on my channel🙂
@@bubblegum5288 Wow, good job! You are learning fast! You must have a wonderful teacher🎻🙏
so good i make this song in violin 😁😁😁😁 is difcult
Wonderful! Just make sure to practice it slowly a lot, and you will master it as well:-)
Oof... I thought I could do it after the slow video. It didn't turn out as I thought it would.🥵
Dont despair. Thats normal! I recommend watching and trying to play along with me in slow at first, but then try to do it on your own. There are a couple of tricky sections that need your attention and extra repetitions before it can go smoothly. But you can do it!!
😊
❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
etudes are supposed to be technically challenging.
Yes! This one is to help practice the second finger low, and string crossings. If you can do that really well already, then good for you, and you can move to more challenging exercises and pieces;-)
I'm a pianist bit thank you for the information. I will tell my friend who plays violin so that he/she can easily practice! thank u!
love it
