I know a American woman who just recently flew to Nigeria 🇳🇬 to marry her BF after only knowing him & dating online for 1 yr!! She flew down for 1 week…they got engaged 3 days later & 2 days after that they got married! Would that raise suspicions to USCIS officials?
For those of you who know...do I really need a lawyer to start the process? I ask because the person who I consulted is not answering my questions. I honestly feel very capable of doing it myself; because if I helped my parents apply for benefits and Medical insurance, I am sure I am smart enough to do it and avoid a mediocre job by someone who is charging a fee. Also, what good does a lawyer do if I have debt? I ask this, because I googled this same question, and the response was, that yes, I can do it myself, but I need a lawyer if I have debt.

I am a us citizens married my wife of 15 years but she is not legal can I get her a green card? We have been married for 4 years but we have been living in the USA we have two kids one 14 year old and one 7 year old and how much will it cost?
NO, uscis wont let her get a green card, she must apply outside the usa, you cant be applying in here and enjoyed all the tax payers expenses on tax payers dime.
I’m in Brazil. I’m an American and we’ve been married for seven years. We filed most of the paperwork in United States years ago. Can I use the American consulate in Brazil to get my wife a visa to travel to the United States?
For a marriage visa, do you have to stay in the foreign country after petitioning? Like do I visit a visa center and Interview with US Consulate in Thailand. Or can I do those last two things in the US. I'm asking because work sometimes gets in the way.
The visa application process is typically carried out in the foreign spouse's home country. This includes attending an interview at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in that country.
What a great video! Thank you! Can I please ask... Does it make a difference to the visa application if we have been married within the US or overseas before we apply for a visa?
You cant be in the us and marry, its because when applying for a visa you have to choose which visa u are applying for, for example your partner applying for a visitor visa, when your partner get here he/she can only stay for a month or 2, if she overstay her visa that is not good.

Hi! I’m planning on getting my wife to the US but she doesn’t want to give up her Colombian residency. So we decided to go the spousal visa route. We just want her to be able to enter the US. If she is granted the marriage visa, what are the minimum requirements for her stay in the US to maintain her visa status?
Please help answer this question. I'm an 19 year old male and am an US citizen. I got married in Bangladesh where legal age of marriage for man is 21 years old. Meaning my marriage was not recognized by Bangladesh law. Should i consider K-1 Visa since technically we are not married by law. Don’t want to wait almost 1.5 years to turn 21 then apply and wait another 1 year to be/live with her.

If your son, a green card holder, has married in Turkey and wants to bring his spouse to the USA, the options available would depend on his immigration status, the type of visa he holds, and other factors. Here are some common scenarios: Family-sponsored Green Card (IR): If your son is a U.S. permanent resident (green card holder), he can file an I-130 Petition for Alien Relative to sponsor his spouse for a family-sponsored immigrant visa (IR). Once the petition is approved, his spouse can apply for an immigrant visa, and upon approval, she can enter the U.S. as a permanent resident. K-3 Visa: In some cases, a U.S. citizen or green card holder may file a Form I-129F to bring their foreign spouse to the U.S. on a K-3 visa while waiting for the immigrant visa processing. However, the K-3 visa is not commonly used, and the process may not significantly expedite the overall immigration timeline.

Ok I know a guy have a while and stuff... but besides he doesn't want get married (for now) for me the fiance visa could be way easier, but not be able to work worried us (besides he doesn't have money for that, he told this himself) what could I do ? Try like being a visitor ? with visa visitor I could be there for while get work visa because from my country I wouldn't be able to it, and being a visitor + work visa apply for the work status, would be bad ?

Your partner cant get a work visa, and no way uscis will give your partner a visitor visa is because he dont have money how is her or she going to supporting himself when he is here. So no is the answer to your question.
how do you get married and then apply for the spousal visa if you cant go to either country to get married without it looking like fraud? - my partner is a UK citizen i am US. we want him to move here but we are trying to figure that out.
You cant, you have to be marry and take pics of wedding for uscis to verify that you are marry, if you cant go there and he cant come then uscis wont let this happen.
I have a friend who is trying to come to the US on a fiance visa. But i am a little worried that when she does marry that eventually, they will break up. i just want to know if my friend has any options for staying in the US if the worst happens?
Can you give us more details on their case? We can help. Please reach out to us through this free consultation: jgoldlaw.com/links/immigration-case-questionnaire/
I know this one, you have to be marry for 2 or 3years so u can get a green card, if before the 2 or 3years and they break up she is getting deported, and if she overstay she will be ban for 10y.
The petition and visa application stages occur sequentially. The petitioner initiates the process by filing the petition, and once the petition is approved, the visa application stage begins. While these stages do not happen simultaneously, they are interconnected because the approved petition is a prerequisite for the visa application.
If your fiancé is a permanent resident (green card holder) rather than a U.S. citizen, they can still petition for you, but the process is different. Green card holders cannot sponsor their fiancé for a K-1 fiancé visa. The K-1 visa is specifically for fiancés of U.S. citizens. However, your permanent resident fiancé can potentially petition for you as a spouse once they become a U.S. citizen.

Hi Gorge, your video is very supportive for everyone. I want to know how many months required for spouse visa now a days? The system is still slow or not?
First of all, he is missing an important step. A person would have to go to your mates country and visit them within two years. He missed that whole step. Also, there’s a lot of people that come to the United States on visiting visa in getting an adjustment of status after getting married I don’t know what this man is talking about. He’s a lawyer, but he’s not telling everything I know this I talk to immigrants from all different countries and most of them have gotten adjustment of status. Most of them have came to the United States on visiting visa and also B1 in student visas in are still here married with families.
But what if you are in love with someone that lives abroad? You are both thinking you are meant for each other. But you want to live with each other, using a visitor visa, to make sure you can really get along living together!!! You bring her to the USA. You intend to marry each other but you are not stupid and want to make sure you really can get along living together. Say you live together for a few months and you love each other so much you know it is real. But you are on a visit visa. Would they consider that is fraud???
Yes they can come in the tj border but they wont have work or residency visa, they have to live under the table money, they cant own a house and have to rent, if they own and got caught they just lose the house as they will be deported.
Hi Sir, I am an American citizen living outside the USA. I've been married for 3 years and I'm a housewife. I couldn't find any information about my situation regarding the process for my spouse to get a Green Card. Can you help me understand which steps I should follow? Thank you.
Will it make a difference if the spouse is russian? I know the world isn't too friendly with russian citizens when traveling or moving to other countries
When a US citizen marries someone outside the US, do they have to have lived together for at least 1 year before they can file for a US spousal visa? What if the US citizen can't live with you abroad because he/she has to go back to the US for work?
It's all in God's hands whatever he wants her and I to do that is what we're going to do I asked my Lord and Savior and my father to guide my steps in the direction he wants me to be thanks for the knowledge I'm going to keep listening an exhibit the acknowledging watches more than once so I can understand what I need to do and do it the right the first time or not at all that's what my granddad told me

Even the conference committee sent an invitation to the consulate, they have not even updated my application since the interview. Could you please guide me what I should do. I understand that waiting for an interview can be challenging and frustrating. Here are some steps you can consider: Check Visa Bulletin: Keep an eye on the monthly Visa Bulletin published by the U.S. Department of State. It provides information on when immigrant visas are available for processing. Your priority date must be current to move forward with the interview. Contact the National Visa Center (NVC): Reach out to the National Visa Center, which handles the initial processing of immigrant visa petitions. You can inquire about the status of your case and whether all required documents are complete. Consulate/Embassy Communication: Contact the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in Ghana where your interview will take place. Ensure that they have all the necessary documents and information for your case. They may provide insights into the expected processing times. Unfortunately, processing times can vary, and some delays are beyond individual control. Continue to monitor the situation, but also be patient as you await updates.
I have chronic medical conditions that will require my Filipino wife to be here wirh me in the United States to help with my care. Can i petition my Senator and Congressman in Washington D.C. to petition USCIS in the hopes of expediting a "Spiusal Visa"? Thank you for your time sir.
This whole process is pretty hard !, like I married an US citizen just 15days ago and he's in US right now and I'm all stuck here in my home country becoz of marriage visa ..as it takes like 2-3 yrs ..i can't even take visitor visa and visit my husband and in-laws there..what should I do ???? This is getting soooooooo hard for , i cannot stay away from my husband, I'm newly married! Pls help me ..i really need suggestion
Hi Sophia! I understand the frustration and challenges you're experiencing with the immigration process. It can be incredibly tough to be separated from your spouse, especially when you're newly married. Remember that while it's challenging, this period of separation is a means to an end. Your dedication and commitment to each other will be essential as you navigate the immigration process. I understand that with the fiance visa, the fiance is not permitted to work in the US until their work permit has been granted. However, what if they are already employed in a 100% remote role by an employer in their home country with an extremely liberal to nonexistent policy with regard to employee travel abroad? Under those circumstances, would US law permit the fiance to retain said job while waiting out the green card process?
If she is getting pay in usd then no, she cant work, if she is getting pay in her own country money then its ok, as long as she is not getting pay in usd, and they will ask how is she supporting herself when she is here.
Well I can tell you this , don’t spend thousands of dollars like I did on a lawyer for a K-1 visa just to get denied . Me and my fiancé have been together almost 5 years , gave all supporting documents , provided proof of a bonafide relationship and this was not enough and apparently didn’t convince her . They didn’t even look at our paperwork and denied my fiancé . It’s very easy for a consulate officer to reject you before coming to their window and there is nothing you can do about it . Just get married … that’s what I’m going to do , and unfortunately start all over again and I don’t know how I will afford it but I have to fight for my relationship . The K-1 visa is not worth the heartache 😒stress and sleepless nights ….
Same happened to us. My fiancé and I have been in a relationship for almost 4 years, had all the proof and evidence of our relationship, I even had proof that I went to India and got baptized (Amrit) in our religion since I converted and I also had to legally change my first name last name to a Sikh religion name. He had his interview on 3/26/24 they never looked at his documents or things he took with him. They told him to go home n that he would receive a letter. A month after that he received a letter saying his case was sent back to USCIS for review. And now 4 days ago we received a letter saying his case was terminated bcz his time expired. Complete waste of time n money. Now I have to go back to India which I don’t like doing bcz traveling there takes forever n it’s stressful so that we can get married and I can apply for a spouse visa. We r disappointed n sad.
If your wife was denied a tourist visa and is not currently working or attending school, you may explore other immigration options, such as petitioning for a different type of visa. It's important to understand the specific reasons for the denial, as this information can guide your next steps. If you and your wife are considering a more permanent immigration option, you could explore family-based visas. For example: Spousal Visa (CR-1 or IR-1) or Fiancé(e) Visa (K-1)
@@Carlos-xd8te A lot of people want to come here in usa, via tourist visa and overstay, uscis know this and will ask her to have something to go back to, if she is broke or no kid or house, she got nothing to go back to and plan to overstay here, that is a no no. Cant come and live on tax payers dime.

We'd love to help! Please send us an email at joshua@jgoldlaw.com so we can help you better.

I tell her to leave her kid there for the kid father and only she can come, once she is pregnant with your kid then u start the paperwork for her only, once she is in the usa for 3y she can get her other kid over.
My fiancé K1 was denied in Accra,Ghana due to they felt we were married already because of photos of our engagement rings. Is trying to re-open the case with noterized letters of proof of engagement only or do you recommend just getting married in her home country and file a CR1?
Thank you!

NO, they are not blood related.
For example, spousal visa is on process, is it okay to file a visitor's visa while the spousal visa is on going?
Did you apply?

Hello there. My son green card holder, married in Turkey this year. Which options would be better for him to bring her over to the usa? Thank you!
If your son, a green card holder, has married in Turkey and wants to bring his spouse to the USA, the options available would depend on his immigration status, the type of visa he holds, and other factors. Here are some common scenarios:
Family-sponsored Green Card (IR): If your son is a U.S. permanent resident (green card holder), he can file an I-130 Petition for Alien Relative to sponsor his spouse for a family-sponsored immigrant visa (IR).
Does it make a difference if she’s my wife with a son and they’re in Kiev’s Ukraine with the war if I want them out of there as soon as possible or is it the same long process like a year or more ??

Hi can i ask some questions?
That depend on the question, and if you will donate some money or not.
Do you follow the petition and visa at the same time?
The petition and visa application stages occur sequentially. The petitioner initiates the process by filing the petition, and once the petition is approved, the visa application stage begins. While these stages do not happen simultaneously, they are interconnected because the approved petition is a prerequisite for the visa application.
If my fiancé has permanent resident (green card holder ) can u do petition for fiancé visa ??
If your fiancé is a permanent resident (green card holder) rather than a U.S. citizen, they can still petition for you, but the process is different. Green card holders cannot sponsor their fiancé for a K-1 fiancé visa. The K-1 visa is specifically for fiancés of U.S. citizens.
However, your permanent resident fiancé can potentially petition for you as a spouse once they become a U.S. citizen.

First of all condom. 2nd is we dont want any more mistakes in usa that live on tax payers dime.
I'd say, do that, go back home and file for the spousal or K1 Visa.
Change the name of your video dude... A spouse would be someone you are already married to. You gave zero information about a visa for a spouse...
he eloquently explained the differences between the two visas..
So why is this so complicated when illegals can come in the southern border and get residency
Yes they can come in the tj border but they wont have work or residency visa, they have to live under the table money, they cant own a house and have to rent, if they own and got caught they just lose the house as they will be deported.

Myself and my two kids application filed by my husband has been approved for 3 years yet no interview letter am in Ghana is been difficult
I understand that waiting for an interview can be challenging and frustrating. Here are some steps you can consider:
Check Visa Bulletin:
Keep an eye on the monthly Visa Bulletin published by the U.S. Department of State. It provides information on when immigrant visas are available for processing. Your priority date must be current to move forward with the interview.
Contact the National Visa Center (NVC):
Reach out to the National Visa Center, which handles the initial processing of immigrant visa petitions. You can inquire about the status of your case and whether all required documents are complete.
Consulate/Embassy Communication:
Contact the U.S.

Yes you can file form I-765 right after you are in here.

My wife got denied with a tourist visa which I sponsor ..is not working or going to school..should I Petttion her
If your wife was denied a tourist visa and is not currently working or attending school, you may explore other immigration options, such as petitioning for a different type of visa. It's important to understand the specific reasons for the denial, as this information can guide your next steps.
If you and your wife are considering a more permanent immigration option, you could explore family-based visas. For example: Spousal Visa (CR-1 or IR-1) or Fiancé(e) Visa (K-1)
@@ImmigrationStation4U ok person who interviewed her didn't say why she got denied, just told her she was not Qualified
