Just to make sure I understand, I would need to fill out this form as well if I am an expat and a stay at home parent since I haven't been working in the last 4 years?
I met income at filing in 2021. I didn't make much in 2022 due to Covid twice and car accident. I was on public assistance from Feb until today. I started a new job this week and will make enough. Will this affect my interview? I was going to submit 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 W2. I just didn't make enough in 2022. I just want to make sure I'm STILL good. Can you please answer this for me? I'm freaking out. Just myself in the household.
Dear Abhish, I am filling for my mother and I have two issues to clarify. • My father is already a US citizen and, in the past, he had applied for my mother to migrate to the US. The issue is, that I do not have any records of that, in terms of application number or date. What I know, is it has been done more than 6-8 years ago. Then, what should I write in the I 130 form part 4 question number 10.? • My second issue later is on the process when it comes to PCC or police clearance certificate. My mother is currently living in Saudi Arabia and previously lived in Kuwait, Syria, and Gaza strip. We can acquire a PCC from Saudi Arabia and maybe Kuwait. However, Syria and Gaza are almost impossible to obtain, since she is a Palestinian and not allowed to visit these countries. What should I do about this? Your help is greatly appreciated.
Hello ....I am the sole sponsor on my husband's spousal visa application. We are currently waiting on our I-130 approval however I have a question about when it comes time to file the income verification......I have been on Workmans Comp this entire year due to a work injury but I do still exceed the income required by the government to sponsor him on my workmans comp. It is not taxable so I will not receive a W-2 for this year so how to I prove this income when it comes time to submit the I-485? Thank you
Great video, thank you Ms. Abhisha, if you allow me, I d like to ask you a question - I got an IR5 visa (my daughter petitioned me and my wife - her mother) but my visa has a small font print on the left bottom says (Class B); as I declared on the medical test that I have type one diabetes but it is under great control - I am 53, fit and working full time, just managing my T1 diabetes. My question is: Is this wording (class B) affect my first entry to USA with the immigration officer
Hi, this is my first time on your channel. I wanted to ask a question. Husband put his mother on form i-130 as co-sponsor, because at that moment he did not have the financial conditions required for me, who am the Gc applicant. but today he already has more than double the amount required by uscis, as my sponsor, the question is, does he still need to include his mother as my co-sponsor and send an i864a form, or not? .
hello, please my husband has changed his job this year and i also have a new job, we are no longer with the last job we filled on our i30 form so l want to know if it will affect my interview if the consular ask what my husband or i do for a living and i mention the new job and not the one on our i30 form. thanks
hello. For self employed sponsors, does the USCIS look at the Taxable income or the net profit. if I have no dependant and my taxable income above 64k but with high expenses , which brings down thr net profit on schedule C to 10k, is it enough to sponsor my wife
What if my husband divorced me after 3 years from the time I received my permanent greencard? Is he still supposed to provide financial support? I'm still a greencard holder.
@@attorneyabhisha hey sis I have question if the spouse you sponsor cheat on you after you bring them in the USA can you deport them???? Please please respond to me
Great Video, I make over 46k and sponsoring my wife and son as US citizen. I did not have any other person in my household. I'm really confuse why NVC said my income is insufficient. Do know what can be the problem or is a mistake from them?
I have a question regarding the affidavit of support. I am a US citizen currently waiting for I-130 to get approved for my wife. I am a disabled veteran and I get about $2200 a month in disability compensation. So I get about $24000 in a year non taxable. My assets are worth around $960,000. I live with my parents. I see that i only need $22,887 according to federal poverty guidelines to sponsor my wife for the household size of 2. Do you think I have enough to sponsor my wife? Or should I go with household member sponsor with my parent to easily cross the income requirement? What do you think I should do since I barely cross the income threshold if I were the only sponsor?
@@leenahameem7726 you mean household member sponsor? I live with my parents and my dad will be the one sponsoring? I believe there are two kinds. One is household member and the other one is joint sponsor. You meant household member sponsor?
@@everestdude1898 Yes, you should include your father in your household income. When I went through the nvc my lawyer told me to find a joint sponsor even though I had enough. It’s better to have more than just enough
@@leenahameem7726 I am not using any lawyer. Doing everything by myself. Joint sponsor is different from household member. Household member income is combined with the sponsor income but for the joint sponsor, whoever is going to be the joint sponsor should be independently able to meet the income requirements. In your case, your income wasn’t combined with the person who was the joint sponsor. What do you think? That’s what the uscis website says.
Can I use my savings to count towards “income” requirement? I am SAHM and the sponsor, husband (applicant) works. We live in the UK. Would his current income apply even though he obviously would not continue to work here once approved?
Hello! I just wanna say thank you for uploading these informative videos. I have a question… I’m sponsoring my spouse from India. I live in the U.S and work as a registered nurse. I live with my parents and brother. I started working in 2020 and got married in 2021. So is it mandatory that I show the income for last 3 years? I only have tax return from 2021 and 2022 to provide for NVC.
Hey Christy I've been trying to find out this same question. If you don't mind when you find out could you also let me know I'm currently working on trying to find out on my end thanks!
@@mariedouglas5072 hi! I believe three is recommended. But if you have at least 1-2 years it’s fine. There’s a section when filling out NVC forms where you can explain why you only have a certain number of years of tax return… this is what I did and they did approve my NVC stage. Hope that answers your question.
Ok! Thank you very much! I was able to finally find out the same thing this morning. I was listening to a lawyer on RUclips and he said that they mainly look at what you've made in the previous year.
