It is so beautiful to watch the strong connections we still share as a people. I have always been a proud Afro-TrinBagonian and after taking the time to really take in your work, it has taken that pride to new heights. Thank you and may continued success follow you for all your days. God Bless.

This video has opened my eyes to their remarkable journey and their vital role in spreading our rich heritage across the globe. Let us celebrate our shared history with love and unity, recognizing that we are all connected, even if we may not realize it. One love, everyone! ✊🏿

I just wonder why African schools don't teach our children about our people elsewhere in the world? This is a reminder of the massive damage that was inflicted upon Africans by Europeans. It definitely need to be recognized as a major historical atrocity...
I can't just imagine the separation anxiety of many African families all across Africa at the time of slavery....Our great great grand parents must have suffered immensely after losing their children to slavery.
We must push our governments to introduce a whole school curriculum about African slavery in the Americas & the Caribbean in our schools..This will start here in Kenya!!!!

Wow, it's wonderful exploring through this chanel the island of Tobago and seeing this spirit of resilience, this conservative spirit of our ancestors brought into slavery far from the African continent, keeping some of their customs and traditions against all odds. They really proved that no matter how long a tree trunk stays in water, it never turns into a crocodile. We are very proud of them. Thank you very much precious brother for giving us this opportunity to see our brothers and sisters who are on this island of Tobago. May the Almighty God bless them richly !!! One thing i learnt is that i did not know much and what was shown on the television was not a true reflection of the continent. To see you in the Caribbean is pure joy. I remembered in one of your interviews you said 'your father told you to what's positive for Africans," and you did not disappoint, you were born for this. I am so proud you and your work and will always be greatful for educating us in the Caribbean about Africa as we see So many similarities. The Caribbean appreciates Africa and you. Sweet Tobago, my sister isle. All of the Caribbean countries and North America have a connective thread of African influence. Tobago really manifest a great strength in family and community. Trinidad being more resourceful in economy had more a cosmopolitan society which left the African man in Trinidad a different spectrum in the society.I hope that this little giant Wode Maya showcase our great similarities only differing by the different influences of Europe and other native lands ;this is where we as a people fail to unite knowing we share a greater heritage which is Africa . We now with so much exposure to knowledge should know that even if each country display a variety of expressions in the experience of slavery we are actually all one.As the great Bob Marleysaid Africa Unite it will change the world literally . It’s incredible how Trinidad has an Indian majority and Tobago maintains its African spirit and majority in population

Indian majority? Where did you learn that? in one of your terrible jamaican schools? You need to come with facts before you speak.

It's called a Silk Cotton Tree. Many fear cutting it down or even just giving it a trim.

I watched you from the Africans in China. the growth of your channel is phenomenal. I am a Hebrew Israelite and I see my brothers and sisters on your videos all over the world. Have you ever considered interviewing a Hebrew Israelite? you will see how Europeans damaged our minds through religion.
