Absolutely! By you going center, you moved the inside base quarters, which is exactly why the both towers fell inwards towards the center.Great job Jeremy! Having gone to left only, definitely would have had the left tower falling into the other playing field on the left, losing the gift card!
Just a little story to share: a very young man whom was having a moment after going thru AirPort Security due to Autism, happen to sit near me. He heard the sounds from this video & stopped! I turned the device I was watching this video so he could see & within a few moments was totally into your video!!! His mom pulled their phone out & found your videos on utube. Needless to say he totally immersed in your videos! Btw, by the end of the flight he was retelling your stories to anyone that listened!! Please keep up the great work! Thank you for sharing as always!
Just now seeing this video. People don’t realize that even though you may not be getting the best movement or the most money from going in the center if you don’t evenly spread out coins you end up with coins all going in one direction. Yes, you can end up pushing coins or items out especially if they are closer to the edge but ultimately if you can evenly spread out and get the same density of coins throughout the entire play field you’ll do better. That’s especially true when you have coin tower situations. Kind of an example, although a silly one, would be if you had a very flimsy wall standing up and you have individual people lined up in a row against the wall pushing to try to knock it down. You start adding people but just on one side. Yes eventually you add enough people on one side of the wall and it gets knocked over but just in one small area/side of wall. Now if you start over and you add the same number of people on every spot of that wall so everybody ends up being evenly distributed along the entire length of the wall the entire wall eventually gets pushed down. The entire length of the wall is pushed down and all at the same time. It’s not just one section that was pushed over. This does require more people to be added to cover the whole wall that way then when you just added to the one side that just knocked over that very small section. In a coin pusher machine that requires more quarters which of course means more money has to be spent.
Going center in the beginning was key to the towers falling inward instead of outward. It also moved both towers intact to the edge when he was making quarters rain (drops in 3 & 4 at a time), making solid pushes versus single quarter injections. Also note that depending on what game you choose (always check this), the plastic "rake" is up higher on the left and George spends twice as much when it is letting quarters double stack instead of forcing quarters to lay out single. I know she loves left but when the rake is high stay away from hard left unless you have enough quarters/ammo you don't care. Just an engineer observing... not an expert :-)
In that particular playing field I think that going center was a wise choice,, there were enough quarters piled up in the middle to allow you to keep going, The left side was a little barren when you started,,, :-)

I suffer from bad insomnia, I'm not sure why, but these videos relax me and help me sleep. IM NOT saying they are boring , it's the banter back and forth, the way you talk about things NOT going on in the world that have me stressed and the humor that calms me enough to let go and sleep. Playing center helped adjust the towers so when they fell they fell into the playing field. They put the towers in a position so if you play sides they fall into other playing fields. Just an observation...

I actually think by Jeremy going for the middle first moved the base of both towers just enough in the middle that when George took over and started hitting the outside edges they were tilting twords the center thought that it was inevitable they were going to fall twords the center.

It like the second tower was first touched the glass, it started to lean to the right. After that, the tower started bowing , and the leaned to the left.

Actually if you think about it...by playing centre until the tower touched the glass; was quite a logical step. Because it meant that each and every quarter played thereafter, would pressurize the tower to fall straight back from the glass...!
How about by going center first you took out the inside quarters so both towers could fall in the proper direction, within the playing field. Just saying

The reason they fell correctly was because you started in the center!
