This death battle was one that really I found bothersome, due to the fact that I think Screw Attack clearly overlooked in a few areas. As a die heart Jak and Daxter fan myself, as I grew up with the franchise, I could point out some reasons how things would've been different. Firstly, Daxter and Clank have abilities to become bigger, Clank by turning into his giant robot form as seen in Going Commando and Up Your Arsenal and Daxter having a Dark Daxter form from Lost Frontier. Had Clank become a giant robot, Jak and Daxter in their dark forms would've tear Clank apart. Despite having the dark form, Daxter doesn't have the same Dark Eco abilities Jak has with his Dark form. Secondly, Dark Jak has gained two other power ups in Jak 3 that Death Battle didn't cover such as the Dark Strike (basically a two ball aura spheres attack) and becoming Invisible, which would've made the outcome different by Jak moving in a scratching Ratchet to death. And his move Dark Blast can literally one shot regular enemies and vechiles, two to three on tougher ones and vehicles like the Hellcat Cruisers and Wastelander Cars. Third, the Jet-Board received an upgrade to not only get around much easier with faster speed and a stronger jump thruster boost but also use as a means to fight back as it has a pulse attack from the Jet-boards repulser. Jak would hurt Ratchet and Clank had he use the repulser. It's one shot the scorpion metal head but takes about three or more hits to kill the enemies, depends if it's living or robotic. Fourth, in the Precursor Legacy and Jak 3, there are eco vents that can give a full charge of any type of eco power that can refill the amount of eco powers usage. Had the setting taken place at a temple of some sort, or some random local location where eco vents can be found, Jak and Daxter can just keep themselves stocked up one any eco power they need, since the battle was taken place at Jak and Daxter's homeworld. Finally, in the spinoff game Daxter, a midquel between Jak and Daxter Precursor Legacy and Jak 2, Daxter has his own weapon being the Spray Gun as an exterminator with different attachments like a flamethrower, ultrasonic bomb, and a pressure boost to hover. He also have an electric swatter, can do the same moves as Jak but instead of a punch Daxter does a tail whip, and can use Jak's morph gun when driving weaponless vechiles like the zoomer, and can drive his own car in Jak X Combat Racing in the multiplayer mode. Daxter isn't as lazy as he's seen to be, at least looking from the Precursor Legacy and the first half of Jak 2, and he's step in if he has to. Yes it's true that Ratchet and Clank has a lot more weapons, superior technology, and better team work compare to what Jak and Daxter have going for them having to rely on nature, it's ancient technology, and eco other, but their world and lore is far more interesting and entertaining compare to the Ratchet and Clank games. It's also true that Ratchet and Clank have far more games, but after the PS2 days the series just felt to light hearted, took the cliches they made fun of back then and use them as literal serious plot points, and some characters I liked in the PS2 games never returned after wards, despite some mentions in other media but that doesn't matter much in my book as I'm not much a book reader.
1) I think your Clank impression sounds a lot like the one in the Death Battle. 2) "Get a load of this!" Sounds like Ratchet is stealing Eggman's quotes. 3) I bet Jak and Daxter are not happy about losing that battle. Also, you put Jaks and Daxter in the title.
